@@sofea1006 Not really. In fact, in Thai cuisine, for many dishes, fish sauce is a "must not". For some examples many fish dishes. Also many northern style Thai dishes. I would not explain why. Just to tell that there are tricks and technics to use it, not just put it or any other ingredients in any dish without backup idea of why you do that.
Out of dozens of vacation spots I've been fortunate enough to experience, I still don't think anything compares to adventuring in Thailand. Awesome food, awesome people, and natural beauty that most can't imagine.

She is putting MSG or sugar. For the first dish she asked the customer if she wants MSG and the customer said no so she added sugar instead. I like to use sugar as a substitute for MSG.
