This is the he best percussion drumming I have ever seen, a 130mm fiddle stick and goat skin around a wooden frame, but the sound is just Devine. A true percussionist!!! love this guy, respect !!!!!!

I like how organic and spontaneous his way of teaching is. Maybe a bit difficult if you are really fresh on the instrument, though.

As a musician I am interested in old folk instruments and the bodhrán is my favorite to play and u get more looks from the lassies because they haven't heard anything of the sort thatnk u for the great instruction and more so for the inspiration

Completely true about overthinking: You need to have the stuff internalized so it starts to be effective and you can focus on the groove. Then you get variety.

I love your lessons! Easy to pick up the rhythm by speaking the sounds. Djembe classes with Bruno Genero, my favorite Djembe player of all time, highlighted the importance of 'speaking' or 'verbalizing' in your head the 'talk' of the drum!. I play Djembe, Conga, Bongo, and Bass drum while playing and I 'hear' what your lessons are saying in 'drum speak'! Your whole body is connected to the beats. After many views I'm better understanding your accent. Took a while! I've looked for the tipper you are using. Right now I'm focusing on your 'Jigs' lessons! Not seeing this type of tipper online. Can you, or anyone who follows your lessons, advise where to purchase this style of 'straight' tipper? Happy to have discovered your lessons as a good friend gave me his Bodhran to play with while I wait for surgery to repair my shoulder joint. Can't play guitar with no cartilege in my dominant rt shoulder. BUT I PLOD ON and am learning the BODHRAN, how fun!
