Do you apply a clear coating of some kind to replace the hardcoat applied over the lens? Polycarb (aka Lexan) has this on optical applications such as headlights.
After the bug spray I think you were good just washing the deet off with the dawn soap. No need for sanding. But meguiars sells a clear cloat for headlight. I would recommend reapplying that and it will add the layer of clear coat back that the deet from the bug spray melted off.
Body you should show botle name or write what did you used because people like me we speak not good English is hard to understand what you said. But thanks 4 the video
If you have condensation on the inside of your headlight lens that means the seals on the light bulbs are deteriorated allowing water / condensation to accumulate on the inside of the lens. Very difficult situation however you can pull the light bulbs out and stick an air nozzle in there and try to blow out the condensation. However most cases you will need new headlights when the problem is on the interior.
@@Edgar_Acosta open them up ? They are clamped and glued .Any further attempt to open them would crack the cheesy chinese plastic. I have already tried that !!¡!!!!!
@triumphmanful Use a heat gun or put them in the oven, although that's risky but possible. Slowly pry the edges open then reseal using Morimoto RetroRuber Headlight Sealant. You heat that up a bit before installing. Put back together then clamp it down along the edges. Works like a charm.
Literally the worst headlight restoration video on youtube. Do not do this. Mothers Nu Lens kit and Meguires lens coating. Less than $50 at walmart. Dot it right. This is rediculous.
