@@crk140 last year you could feel momentum teetering as KJ was the best player on the field and about had them dead to rights before the dam targeting concussion took him out. That hit was bad bad bad, and he has the dropsies this year... imo, maybe not coincidence... the fine motor/neural stuff takes up to 2 years to heal per recent research.

They threw the flag for two reasons... (1) PSU was the visiting team, and (2) He celebrated while still in the field of play -- that may have been viewed as taunting. What pissed me off was DT Antonio Shelton spitting towards one of the MSU players. Now, I heard he's suspended, but don't know for how long. Wouldn't surprise me if its for the rest of the season. That was just high-schoolish conduct.

I liked McSorley, but there were times when I thought Tommy Stevens should've been put in the game, so Trace could settle down. One of PSU's biggest mistakes over the years (especially under JoePa) has been loyalty to upperclassmen, instead of putting their best players on the field.

Now that shows you michigan st are the clowns of the big ten ! Michigan st pitt miami florida st have become a total joke ! And these teams at one time had really good programs ! Pitt miami and florida st having won many national titles ! Hell look at Nebraska having won national titles and now they really struggle to get it together! Not only do teams have to be good enough to make it to the C. F. P. They have to spend hundreds of millions of dollars up grading their sports facilities! Northwestern spent around $ 270 million for their upgrade ! That is also how you get 4 & 5 star recruites iam not saying northwestern is going to win the national title in a couple of yrs but at least they knew they had to spend big money to upgrade and get the big time recruits ! other schools are not spending the money just look at Clemsons upgrade Alabama L. S. U. Georiga Alabama has 3 outdoor practice fields & they have 50,000 sq ft weight room and cardio room thats insane ! And look at all the 4 & 5 star recruites they get and are always at the top of the polls ! Penn state is looking at spending $ 300 to $ 500 million either building a new stadium or renovating the stadium and sports facilities.
