Yes! There is something called enrichment in psychology and it's exactly what you are describing in the video. There are several strategies to enrich your life like trying to feel awe or 'spark' of looking at something beautiful by... looking at something beautiful or timeless. Or, scary - like space!
You are very generous to assume that I have to look for something I don't understand :D I think that maybe those of us with small children can easily use their endless curiosity to find wonder in the ordinary - in practice, if you ask 'why' enough times, you are bound to hit a wall of understanding!
