That was pretty weak. Just because you hold your phone a certain way doesn't mean you're out of touch.

I was wondering if anyone else thought bringing that up was weird. Its either padding or Jack is out of touch with society and is genuinely unaware of the plight of some who didn't bring their glasses.

That's a fine question to ask because a lot of normal people wouldn't know. That may very well have been for the benefit of the audience. That a "tech analyst" proceeded with "He might have been some systems administrator" is the huge problem there.

I thought the idea was stupid. I still think it largely is stupid, based on the overwhelming majority of useless content people post on it. I don't see what really sets it apart from all the other forms of social media before it, or why it took off. It's basically a more limited form of things that came before. And somehow limitation means a trendy sensation. Makes something "intimidating" or "cumbersome" simpler. Basically Twitter is the Cliffnotes of social media.
