Pretty much have been working on all these things this year. If I stick to my plan I'll be debt free by Christmas and thrity pounds lighter by summer. Wish me luck.
I was on vacation by myself having lunch and this guy at the table next to me complimented me for not being on my phone... granted my signal was trash, but I was able to have nice conversation with him and his wife. Disconnecting can be worth it.
That’s the kind of video we miss from the old days Jeremy. true, honest, pure, natural and sincere like the time you spoke about your father. It melted my heart because I also lost my dad. Keep going bro From Paris with love
I agree, being tidy, hygienic, active and getting outside are the proven ways to feel better that’s for sure! I think this video helps in a different way, it helps to remind people of these things. I know what it’s like being in a “hole” where none of these things seem possible, they can build and build until it’s overwhelming. To anyone in a similar situation, just start small. Tidy a small portion of your own room, clean only the sink, stand outside your front door for a few minutes and build from there. Just know you aren’t alone in feeling this way and there is a solution.
Great work. Can we just add fellas when life seems so fckd you find yourself in a dark place that you remember some of these . Get up shower and go talk to somebody , grocery store/ gun shop / bar/ diner / hardware store whatever works for you . Life seems less bleak if you are clean and have even a brief chat with another person. One step in front of the other , one step at a time gets you to somewhere different
Brought to your channel for cigar/whiskey content a few years ago. Getting out of the house is huge. Do college, sometimes don't be as social as I should be the first couple years, and I go to my local cigar lounge at least once a week to be social, hang out with friends I've made there, decompress. Gets you out of the house, social, have some time to step away from stress. It helped me immensely when I was having a really bad time in life at the time. Last 3 years have only gone up by doing small things, even with some road bumps
Everyone around me thinks my life is fine. The only problem is I don't like it. So now I am looking at options to get out of the RAT-RACE without falling on my face. It all sound simple enough, but our system is designed to keep you a wage slave. This move must be done carefully. Some thrive after this move, but most don't. I have failed at many things, and still do. I am very hard on myself when I make mistakes, but I own them. I think if you aren't screwing up, you aren't learning anything.
I decided to join the U.S. Marine Corps my junior year in college. Took me 3 years to unfuck myself enough to get selected to attend Officer Candidates School. This is on top of having had my daughter, out of wedlock, at age 19. Today, I’m a C-Suite executive. Our two adult kids are not Democrats, or smelly tree huggers. My wife and I, the mother of my daughter born my sophomore year of college…the mother of our son born on Okinawa, and I will be married 31 years in April. I’m in good shape as well. Ride the hell out of my mountain bikes.
I tell my kids all the time that if nobody was ever bored, no one would've ever painted a beautiful picture, wrote a best seller or solved the world's greatest problems.
Been working on all this for 2 years. Still working on loving myself. Picking up a journal was HUGE help, hopefully it can help someone else. - Peace n Love to all -
If you’re overweight. Losing weight will improve basically everything. Yes, even money. You’ll find you operate better and a healthier weight, will perform better at work, have more energy for side hustles ect. Lose weight.
Became a disabled veteran, and felt bad for myself like a weak little bitch. Oddly got divorced because I started getting fat, unmotivated, and just not me. Starting working on myself, cleaning up, losing weight through healthy eating, and the exercise I could accomplish. Remarried to an amazing woman who kept pushing me to get more and more of what I wanted to get accomplished, and it nearly all has to do with the ways I was already working to unfuck myself. There are days I cannot bend to tie my shoes, because disabled, not because my stomach is in the way, she took me and bought shoes and boots I can just step into so at least I am mobile. We now own a farm (hopefully soon an animal rescue) away from the city and it forces me to keep moving. It is the best I have felt in my life, even when I was serving, ten pounds to go, but 100 out of the way.
One thing I say to men, Read fucking books! Put down the remote and read. Books are manly and full of incredible stories and wisdom and knowledge for you to soak in. When I stopped watching so much TV and started reading instead, my mind just became so much sharper and my life feels enriched as well. And there are tons and tons of manly books out there with badass stories and characters, in fact most of the manly movies we love are based on books.
I'm in shape, my house is clean, I'm debt free, I paint every day, I'm a bartender at a fine dining restaurant, so I talk to plenty of people...... still depressed every day.
@jakeviolet2195 ex fiance left after 7 1/2 years because I'm still bartending at 40. She started a family three months after she left. I don't miss her... I hope she's happy. Genuinely. That just left a huge void... so I fill my time with painting. I don't know what I want. Maybe I already have it. No clue.
As someone who just lost his job. I’ve been working on a lot of these while looking for a new gig. Just found your videos, glad I came across it! Rock on
#boldfortune #unf*ckyourlife Couldn't agree more with your thoughts in this video. We all hit speed bumps along the way that slow us down, but get over it, and keep going. Today's culture has spent more time applauding damaging behavior, in the name of acceptance, than actually offering solutions that will lead to a fulfilling life. Cheers brother!
Well....... Shit happens, thats live. But Good Things happens too. And i give my Fokus on the Good Thinks. Thats make Not all better but give me more Energy for the best Thinks in my live. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
couldnt agree more with these steps and working on the "un-phone yourself" one personally so i can be more present with my two little ones. Brain dead scrolling social media is my biggest issue but the kids are helping with that. Love the video as always #boldfortue #unf*ckyourlife
Great tips! I try to live by most of those, although I do sometimes fail :). Well, I do shower without fail, but I could do without my phone more often... #BOLDFORTUNE #UNF*CKYOURLIFE
No alcohol since 3/3/98. Could go for some outside the box exercise routines since I quit gym membership as part of finding ways to save money. Social media in small moderate amounts. Refrain from trolls in any and all online comments sections who make everything about politics. What was the old saying: no religion/politics at work. Only leads to drama. Try to eat healthy. Unless anything drastically occurs, will be at my place of employment 29 years this December.
I’m an avid RU-vidr, I may like a video or subscribe but I never, ever comment. Dude Thank You! Fucking Thank You Jeremy! 9:07 #BoldFortune #Unf*ckyourself
Just WoW! This video has opened my eyes! It spoke to me! Sorry Bro. I’ve never heard of you, so glad I have found your channel. Then I look at some of your videos and BAM! You are into truck camping/overlanding! #staywild @PMOverlanding
early 40's SWM here. So funny first three items, lost a loved one (dad in hospice I was point man), lost a job 4 months later, feeling down typical recent Maine winter dull drums, just coming out of the Covid WTF, even had a close friend and mentor fall off by suicide in the same calendar year. Spring is here!, the eclipse has me mentally in a place of renewal feeling positive, new job, lots of opportunities afoot, my diet is on point, I was 30 over and got sleep apnea which is not any joke, I'm down 15, another 15 to go. I'm bustin' ass at my new job, I'm stronger than I was at 38, goal is to be as strong mentally. We can all find a tight bind now and then even us grey in the beard, get up and keep swinging anything else is giving up.
If you've completely screwed your body up, investigate keto/carnivore + ddpy rebuild. Not a sales pitch, but it is slowly working for me where anything else (including weight lifting even small) kept making things worse.
I don't think we see eye to eye on your delivery in some small bits here, that being said, as a GenX'er I feel you. The hand-holdy BS has to stop. Wishing something is so doesn't make it so. But to get to my point... as a fat dude with some brief periods of being fit (mostly not), a point you should add is 'people treat you way different as a fat person vs. an average-fit person, WAY DIFFERENT'. I've seen it first hand. Its a million little cuts each day. Little conveniences and smiles and nods you get as a 'normal-fit' 'or better' individual that are totally absent when you're seen as overweight. When you are fat, its like you're not even in the game. You have to beg for regular treatment - you are basically invisible. This will affect everything. Your love life, your work and promotion prospects, everything. FFS try to avoid this at all costs if you can. It sucks that its true but it is, and the benefits you reap as a fit person are hard to quantify (note: people who are naturally this way don't see it because they have had it all their life - also why they can't understand your situation and give bad advice. An example: hot girls think the world is awesome and their oyster. Why? Because it is. Everyone treats them like goddesses. They get smiles, perks, people hold doors for them, guys are lining up for dates with them. This effect extends to everyone in different ways.)
Social media isn't all bad. I keep up on people's birthdays on facebook and keep tabs and catch up with friends from all phases of my life. I watched and supported on patreon a youtube creator who's discord server I ended up on. I will show my eternal nerd, but ended up with a group of people across the world that play dungeons and dragons on a virtual tabletop and voice chat. Also, I'm going to visit these people this year, in Hungary, Estonia, London, Glasgow, Las Angeles(he lives there but he's a good dude, loves his 2a etc..) It's all in how you use it. Like anything else, if you overdo it, it's bad. Used well, good.
Getting there, I recently quit all my debts, have no social media (and I'm cool with it), I'm changing my job (to police intelligence, witch is my dream job) the only thing I really can't do is going out, that gets me, I have no friends alive (literally) and 99.999% of the social circle in my country it's just not for me, people my age don't tend to share my tastes, and still, I'm trying, but is the part I struggle the most, by a huge mile
For those of you who like me think college isn't for you (kinda a scam imo). Do a trade a job, I've worked construction for almost 10 years since high school. Like 3 of the things on his list I can check off right away. You get excercise, you stay thinner, you grow in confidence and skill, your not going to get rich but your bills will get paid and you'll have plenty of time after work and on weekends to spend with loved ones. You are forced to work as a team so socialization is another check on this list. That being said they'res a few things on his list I should work on but It feels good to have a good half down automatically. Guys in your 20s or whoever don't snub your at a little hard work. It's actually easy to stay motivated when you get used to it. The comradary you have with the guys at work will keep you laughing and smiling if you find the right company. Definitely some dick heads out there to but be assertive and stick up for yourself you'll be fine.
I love these vids I’m 26 almost 27 investing into sp 500 every week eat clean bjj have kids but trying my best next goal be an electrician wish me luck !
Loved the video, too bad you have to provide these tips when it should be part of daily routine. Glad for rerelease of Bold Fortune on all products. #BOLDFORTUNE #UNF*CKYOURLIFE
Credit cards can be a great thing. I keep my cards paid off and I don't think I have ever carried a balance. I have been able to get my credit score over 800. Between my two cards I get about $1400+ in points per year which pays for a trip or something I want to purchase.
I have an issue that I need to bring up to this audience. I’m a big bourbon fan from way back but for the last few years I’ve been really into trying many different whiskeys which is now causing me to be concerned a bit. I really look forward to trying new whiskeys each night so I’m cracking open more and more bottles, then having three or four 1.7 oz pours each evening while relaxing with my family. It used to be that I would seldom partake during the week. Is this excessive and if it is, where should the line be drawn? Thoughts?
#boldfortune #unf*ckyourlife definitely want to try this bold fortune scent. Need to update my picture, I have a full beard now. Lol. Great content as always brother!
Hmmm.. the whole reason I have never gotten a credit card to this point in my mid 30s is I thought they would give me weiner burn... just to be safe I'll keep clear anyways.
Great seeing you at the save expo didn’t realize you were located in Florida love your build maybe we can get a group together and go for some trail rides. Get the chance to see what handles the trail better your truck or my 95 k1500 #boldfortune #unf*ckyourlife
To unfuck myselfe I reduced the time spend at work and I’m makeing my woodworking room in the garage… but there is also some free space that is waiting for my club chair so I have a space for me my bourbon and cigar, with a sign at the door: all but the cat get out :)
So, now I've seen it all. A person who is a big fan of a thick cigar in the mouth and a bottle of whisky on the table is promoting healthy lifestyle. So nice :-)
Along with debt, don't buy a car you can't afford. Especially with today's interest rates, a car with all the bells and whistles is nice but don't dig yourself in a hole financially just to have it.
Look dude if you're a barber or an artist or an office man you can be one of them metrosexual dudes but if you're a hard working man and work long hours to barely make end meet you can't live that lifestyle you are portraying. Every man is a product of his circumstances due to lack of knowledge or whatever it might be but one thing is for sure hardworking man don't get paid to look beautiful and it is a waste of money to purchase fancy clothes that you are going to trash at your job so if you see a man that looks a little rough during weekdays show him some respect because after all that man is being productive and if you see him cleaned up is because it is his day off. Not all of us have 8 hrs jobs.
