Height can change. I went from 5'7" to 5'5" This is not uncommon.

@@DRZPHD yes it is amazing because of how your spaces of the plates in in the spine gets closer and it is possible for me to lose 1 more inch but very unlikely but it's be amazing to be 5'6.5!!

I've heard that body hair growth slows down and that body hair gets softer as well, is that true, too?

Mine definitely did. It's not as gone as I would like, but chest hair and arm hair especially is greatly reduced. And my back hair is just gone. It doesn't grow anymore.

people seeing their shoe size reduce may well do so because of fat and moisture redistribution through the body. Your foot size can change quite dramatically even without HRT throughout the year depending on my general health and weather conditions, especially if like me you're sensitive to things like excessive fluid retention (edema) in the extremities. I've trouble wearing shoes anyway because of extremely thin skin on the tops and heels of my feet (so wearing anything for more than half an hour or so easily causes blisters and sores), and my feet's weird sizing (several sizes wider than long), and this makes it even harder as a shoe that fits me now may not fit me in a few weeks, only to fit me again 2 months later. As HRT influences the fat (and thus fluid) distribution throughout the body, maybe it can through that mechanism also induce a slight change in foot size, thus potentially leading to a change in shoe size.

Yes!! I used to wear a size UK6 and went up to a 7/8, it shocked me that feet can change so much!!

my NP measured me in February at 183 cm and just last week she measured me in at 178 cm 🥴🥴🥴 been on spiro and estradiol valerate for 1.6 years lol

The feet and spine actually shrunk due to connective tissue changes, not muscle or bone changes

@@FayeFaye- I tried looking for a little while but the best I could find is just differences in connective tissues and joints between men and women as a more broad topic. Due to the nature of hormones changing nearly every system in the body it's not unexpected to see the differences in these tissues.

Im literally shrinking in height over the last few months and its not a myth. My foot size has gone down. Soft tissue makes up some of your height bevause there is soft tissue between your bones at every point of articulation.

That's wild. I've heard so many people claim it's altered their foot size (through foot arching), and has decreased their height between half to one inch due to spinal compression. Those are really persistent myths.

Yes I keep hearing it too due to cardlige, muscle fat shortening but the bone remains the same.

Those are basic things that every transsexual knows. Especially the last one made me laugh. I am a 183 cm tall Japanese transsexual, but after SRS and voice surgery, I gained confidence and passed as a woman. Many women ask me why I'm tall, and I say I was a female volleyball player. They believe it. Actually, I was a male volleyball player, so I know volleyball well. LOL

Asian men have soft features, small hands & feet etc. Not surprising that an asian guy can pass as a girl. There will always be certain tell tale signs though that are usually unsaid Bc some you can’t quite put your finger on

Sorry, but you are so wrong. Estrogen thinned my body hair, shrunk my feet by half a size, hid my Adam’s apple completely, shrunk my body by half an inch, and caused my neck to be thinner and my vocal cords to be thinner, allowing me to speak more feminine than before. But maybe being Intersex made a difference.

I am on E and Siralactone, have been for close to 2 months, it's definitely gone down some, but I've also hear once it stablises, it'll possibly go up some too. also, if you are worried about that, you can voice this to your doctor and get stuff to help that if you'd like 🥰

I must mention that your number one is only partially true. No, it will not get rid of hair follicles. It will not get rid of facial hair. It usually will affect body hair though. I was working on body areas when I came out to my electrolysis tech. She said we should start immediately on your face and stop spending money on body hair. She was correct. I saw a great deal of reduction and in and in some places elimination of body hair after being on HRT. If you are going on hormones, don't waste a lot of money on the body hair, allow for what can change to change.

Damn bruh when i was taking vitamins that produce estrogen for about 5 months lul... I was like 5ft 10 or 5ft 10 and a half max.. i looked curvy and femenine and like a girl face aswell it was nice since im Gay. Lol... And now that i boost my Testosterone and been off Estrogen for Long time now... Im 6 feet tall or 6ft and a half in the morning.. Plus shoes make me 6 2 . Like breh Harmones play alot in height breh But sadly i never got a bf. Bc they get too intimidated by me like wahhhhh fwuaaaaa

Yes but only if you're young. Taking progesterone helps I heard and hip bones naturally grow up to 2.5 inches wider through life but it won't be like transformation into a woman. That's gonna need some weight change from fat redistribution. But u could get lucky I suppose

Actually, 😊 it really just depends on your genetics honestly and what hormones feel like doing! Everyone’s experience is different, but here’s mine So I’ve always knew that I was trans from really young age and I started transitioning at around 11 I came out around 7/8 I started taking puberty blockers at around 12/13 and estrogen at 15/16 I can definitely confirmed that because of mones I definitely have shrunk. I used to be 5’ 4 & 1/2 maybe 3/4 however now I’m literally 5, 2 and I’m 16 now, so LMAO yeah that does really happen! Just wanted to confirm. Again, everyone’s experience will be different however, just take your time don’t stress about it and don’t let other people Have you spiraling and dwelling on the internet about it! LMFAOOO NOT! a smart move at all!💀 Just talk to your doctor and any trans 🏳️‍⚧️ friend if possible about your own personal experience/ issues.💖💗💝
