The most important thing about Greg Anthony prediction is what he said about longevity. Longevity has been very essential to Lebrons success

Kobe tried to get there but the last couple of years his body just fell apart. Kevin Durant might If he wants to play until he’s 40. Again he probably won’t be able to stay healthy that long either. If Shaq had taken better care of himself, he could have been the greatest of all time. But he couldn’t keep his weight in check and the last 3-4 years he was just a shell of his former self.

If the Blazers had known the truth about Sam Bowie, they definitely wouldn’t have drafted him. They already knee he was injury prone but if they had known he was already injured again, they would have passed on him. That draft was still loaded though. Now you would have drafted Jordan anyway because having a great backcourt is more important than having a great center. Jordan could definitely have been the greatest point guard of all time on that team.

Lebron is bowlegged or has what we call soccer legs, which is less prone to leg injuries due to stresses concentrated on the fringes of the legs, as opposed to on the base, seen with players with straight legs like AD, KD, Thompson, e.t.c. Players with bowlegs like Lebron, Butler, Lowry, Norman Powell, e.t.c., rarely have major leg injuries and have high center of gravity or difficult to take them down.

Bird and Jordan didn't go #1, #2, Jordan went #3 in an incredibly talented 84 draft that saw Olajuwon go first and I can't fault Houston for that pick but I'm from Kentucky and Sam Bowie is absurd. What would Portland have been like with Drexler playing the Small Forward position and Jordan playing Shooting Guard? Moreover Charles Barkley went 5th and Stockton went 16th. I bet those teams who passed on those players wished they could have had that crystal ball to see into the future. Barkley was the 3rd scoring player from that group just behind the #1 Pick Olajuwon and Stockton went on to define what it was to be a point guard and that Jordan guy didn't do too badly either. Of course Bird's class had I think 5 go before him and while there was some potential in each player picked, none showed the promise Bird did early on. Bird may have had a chip on his shoulder from not being drafted higher too that motivated him. The Birds and Jordans of the world are motivated by little things that make them want to win and kick everyone's butt.

Bobby Knight's saying that Michael Jordan was the greatest player he had ever seen does not predict GOAT status. There was/is a great deal that Bobby Knight had not seen or choose to acknowledge. Michael Jordan was indeed a great player but he was fortunate enough to be drafted by a great organization, with championship pedigree on every level e.g., ownership, executive/management, coaches, players. The story line and outcome would be quite different if he was drafted to a low level competence team. For example: if he were playing today and played on a team with the same level of competence as the current Charlotte Hornets, he would not win a single championship even though he would be playing at the same level of skills.

I ACTUALLY PREDICTED THE BULLS 72 WINS AFTER THE GAME WHEN RODMAN MADE LUC LONGLEY JUMP LIKE, 3 TIMES FOR A REBOUND. I told everybody: RODMAN JUST FORCED LUC TO JUMP LIKE A POGO STICK JUST LIKE HE (RODMAN) DOES. And Rodman did it when only he and Luc were on that side of the court. I realized what RODMAN was doing IMMEDIATELY! As it happened, you could hear a PIN DROP. BUT WHEN LUC JUMPED UP THAT LAST TIME, HIS EYES TOTALLY CHANGED TO THAT "EYE OF THE TIGER" WIDE-EYED, BRUCE LEE LOOK, ABD HE BEAT RODMAN TO THAT REBOUND!! Then the crowd SUDDENLY ROARED, and I realized they knew what was up. RODMAN CHOSE A SPOT TO SHOW HE HAD IMPROVED LONGLEY INTO BEING A POGO STICK REBOUNDER. ONCE THE CROWD SAW THAT, I KNEW THEY WOULD HOLD LUC LONGLEY TO THAT STANDARD. I TOLD MY COWORKERS AT ROUGE STEEL IN METRO DETROIT THAT THE BULLS WOULD WIN 72 GAMES.

I was disappointed in the wat GSW got 2 of their last 3 or 4 games. There were 2 games with the SPURS, and Tim Duncan sat out at least one... maybe both. It was kinda like the Spurs GIFTED GSW 2 games.

Nobody says anything about it but how good would Houston have been if they picked Jordan first overall. We all love Hakeem but his only championships were the two in between Jordans six

Valid if statement. A lot of things aligned in Chicago. Phil Jackson. Scottie Pippin. Rodman. A lot of shrewd and calculated moves there.
