This is so good! I’ve always had a lazy eye but after I had my baby it got worse. This has helped me so much. Thank you!

Is looking between eyes a good idea ? (I’m just starting to meet this girl with this kind of issue and thinking how to make her feel comfortable and know that I don’t care about that) Thanks for the video !

I think that would bother me, personally because I value eye contact. One of her eyes will probably be focused on you so just look at that one. She may have one that comes and goes. My biggest advice is to pay attention to what she is saying and forget about the eyes, you will get used to it in no time.

As an athlete with strabismus, my number one tip is turning your head and squinting. Sure, my lazy eye turning inwards will be visible in certain situations, but a slight squint can help a lot.

What do you mean by squinting?cab you elaborate please?
@Easymoneyglock

@@khushrathore7456 i mean literally squinting, you know when you look something up close, you slightly close your eyes to see it better/clearer

I'm 14 years old, I can't talk to any girl in my school or even friends sometimes, I'm always thinking about my eyes, Always avoiding eye contact, I have no friends at the moment because of this.

I'm so sorry, that sounds really challenging. I bet they don't notice as much as you think they do. Have you read my articles or seen videos about how to disguise an eye turn? That might help you feel more confident.

Good info thanks for the tips. I had surgery when I was a eleven on my right eye, now I'm older and I noticed my right eye has been drifting alot more in the last 15 years, which can make conversations with others really difficult. I tend to just make eye contact with my dominant left eye, which feels a little better, but still awkward. It's crazy because I'm right handed, but left eye dominant. So for instance, when I'm shooting a gun I have to use my left hand for it to line up on target, it feels really awkward, but it works. I was wondering if you think eye surgery again would be best for me at this time or vision therapy?

Hey Matt,. I know exactly what you're talking about with shooting. I am right handed and left eye dominant as well. Have you taken the free surgery vs vision therapy quiz? It might help you understand the best route to go. learn.strabismussolutions.com/f4a044b0-9c6f-4242-a368-a5a256ee34d3

People say I roll my eyes at them and I never realized it until I watched myself on zoom. My (noticeable) eye turn is more prominent when I am tired but still have the difficulty focusing my eyes.

Zoom has made all of us much more aware of our eyes for sure! Have you considered vision therapy or surgery?

I hate having a lazy eye had 3 operations on it so far, I've often got in fights and been arrested over people taking liberties and insulting me over it. It happened again today🤬

Long time Instagram lurker here. I have been diagnosed with BDD for my obsessive thoughts about my Esotropic left eye. It's crazy because I actually became a LOT more self conscious about my eye after my surgery. I had big hopes and dreams and then when I realized my eye aligned hadn't changed much, my mental health just spiraled out of control. While CBT therapy has helped changed my thoughts and actions, it is so hard to keep the positive thoughts once I am in the real world. Especially living in a big city, where I am constantly surrounded by strangers, it can be really tough. Anyway, I am so thankful for your presence on Instagram, RU-vid and your website. I have certainly learned a lot. I'm saving up money so I can finally get vision therapy and become a "new" man.

Thank you for reaching out. You are not alone, there are so many people that are where you are at. I have had a life coach helping through the process because it really is a tough mental battle. The coaching has been life changing for me, but it definitely takes practice. I am going to start offering coaching as well, keep your eyes out for my calendar where you would be able to sign up!

I don't understand how your strabismus drifting eye was your right eye in other video's now in this one it is the left eye that is drifted way out.

My right eye is always the one with the problem when I am relaxed. But I can force the right eye straight and then the left drifts. It also could be because the picture gets flipped in selfie mode sometimes. LOL

There is a treatment that can make a huge difference, but it will probably never go away forever.
