I have a set of Fishbones and have delayed putting them on simply because of weather and needing new front grip. This video is pushing me to set them up finally. Thanks for the great video, Jimmy! Excited to see so many manufacturers jumping into the community and changing onewheel for the better!

I pre-ordered a Viper and had activation issues if I wasn't wearing anything that didn't have flexible flat bottoms, so I ripped it off and got the Fishbones, you get the same experience and it isn't as janky.

When I worked at Starbucks, I'd get fit fatigue. At Starbucks they have floor mats that can do only so much. When I started using my One wheel Pint I got similar flashbacks. The to solution then was walking barefoot. Shoe's in general suppress the feet. Of course this what to do in addition to this great video. I thought I'd recommend this.

I think they’re a great idea. Just not keen on the visual. I wish altering the front pad wasn’t so nerve racking or sensitive. Hopefully the XR v2 will make it easier to tailor board performance on the front and back.

I recommend next time you install the fishbones to scrape down the TFL grip tape to have no glass(black exposed) on the edges. Be careful when doing this due to the sensor being underneath. This will help the adhesive to grab a little better 👍

hi. so far what I've experience is, while riding, point your toes up. for some reason it helps (and btw this is tip is for those who have been riding for more than a day and or those who feel confident enough as a subconscious tendency -for me anyway- are my toes' tendency to not want to return to their original position .....i know it doesnt make sense the way im wording it, but if you've been through it, you know what i mean....i hope) im 6'9 about 250lbs size 12-13 depending on which shoe i go with.

I'm about to order a Pint, Are Fishbones equally concave or is one side higher than the other? Lefty vs Righty Why not run Fishbones on the back footpad too? I liked your video on the NUG rear footpad. Which rear footpad are you running in this video and why? Thanks for all the fun, looking forward to getting the Pint and cruising the earth. Kent

The rear foot pad for this video is the viper. It's for the XR. I reviewed it in a previous video.

Nice video 😊. Those fishbones look interesting, and I will be waiting to hear how they work over time. Does the foot fatigue allso mean, you're sole's aswell. Because that is the only place I get a little bit of pain when I ride

Yes. The soles of my feet tend to get achey on Long rides.

@@freshlycharged trained them to ride with a rip stik, one wheel is much better, has breaking and off roading. Carving in a field with dogs is really fun, like kite surfing in Texas 🤘😆

Hey Jimmy. I appreciate you and your videos. Question dose the fish one help with the sensors? Sometimes my pint x does not detect my feet on both sides. It’s very annoying and makes me look like the newbie that I really am. Lol

They do not help with the sensor issue. If your sensor is faulty and with in 6 months of purchase, try contacting FM as it may still be under warranty.

I bought the first version twice, two different sizes. It didn't work for me. The teeth did break off and I developed a crease across the heel of my feet. I have a size 12 foot. The crease eventually separated my skin on my heel and I was in great pain. I took the fish bones off and sanded my heels a little each day until skin healed. This new flexible version looks much better. I still have the size I didn't use just sitting on my dresser.

Foot fatigue is real. I only have ridden 18 miles on a OW. Legs kill me after a mile or 1.5 miles. Guess more riding to build those muscles

Is it still 3D printed? It looks like TPU but a lower durometer making it softer. Issue with TPU is in cold weather they become brittle and crack.

Cant imagine why they would have ever printed them in anything other than TPU. Their pricing is outrageous though. These would be incredibly easy to design and print. Heck, even seen people use "Gas tank grips" cut in half to achieve a front concave at a 7th of the price. I like people innovating and producing things for the community, but I cant imagine why anyone would buy these at that price.

@@johnlabernik4599 Yeah, I figured I wasnt the only one that feels this way. I am testing a new foot pad I modeled and was thinking of offering. I was only going to charge $75 with grip. I have it uploaded to Thingiverse for anyone to print as well

Hey Jimmy what would you advise to use for safely getting out road debris/dirt/dust/etc from between the wheel and board areas? I'm hesitant to use compressed air in case that might blow particles into the connections I'm trying to clean.

Learn to carve. Even small ones. Shifting weight back and forth from heel to toe allows your foot to get good blood flow. It's only when I'm not carving and just standing, cruising, do I get my toes going numb or my heel kinda going dead. A foot pad might be for you. I'm printing some 'fakebones' right now to try. I've also read/heard/been told that good footwear with a good insole really helps. Gonna invest in a pair of Vans, I think.
