@@SuperLemoncupcake I totally agree … I still think back to those 70’s and 80’s perfumes from Avon … the men’s aftershaves as well. I also used to get my mum to buy me the pomanders with the little wax chips inside. I had a little Victorian purse and a purple umbrella plastic pomander and I remember a peach perfume and a daisy brooch with a solid perfume inside. Must have been nearly 35-40 years ago now but I loved those items as a little girl. Thanks for bringing all these memories up guys x

Fracas is stunning. A really warm under the sweater scent. Favourite of Madonna and Isabella Blow too. Daphne Guinness who inherited a lot of her clothing to sell off for her foundation said she still got a waft off it when sorting thru her pieces

Thanks for the video I'm a fan of Amy Winehouse's music and today marks 10 years of her passing. Perfumes are so personal to somebody so knowing about each tragic heroines favorite perfume adds a layer to her personality.

It makes sense that Amy Winehouse loved Vera Wang princess. I loved that scent during my 06 to 2009 years in college and I feel like that was the peak of when everyone in school listened to her. My college roommate was one of her biggest fan. That scent brings nostalgia in that era.

I forgot about calgons Hawaiian ginger. It smells heavenly! You can find it sometimes at Marshall's or big lots during the holidays and Walmart. I like to layer matching mist with perfumes since mist doesn't last long. It works great among as it's in the same perfume notes.

Laura Jane, this was so awesome!! One thing though, I think I may have another layer of mystery to Anna Nicole Smith loving Guess. I worked in the fragrance industry behind the counter when they had the original Guess for women. It was during the late 80's. This fragrance was very different, a warm spicy ambery type fragrance. I remember it well because we sold it and I also had some myself. Maybe that was the version that Anna used? Anyhow, your channel never dissapoints, I love what you do!

Fragrance is a funny thing. Sometimes, you can imagine what a person smells like. If I had to imagine what Amy Winehouse smelled like, it would be cigarettes, booze, and Glow by J Lo. Janice Joppelin would smell like cigarettes, sweat, and patchouli, even before you mentioned it. Anna Nicole smith would smell like Loves Baby Soft or something sweet and powdery.

Fracas also has tuberose in it and I think that is the first note as it definitely has a distinct smell of a white florals: tuberose and gardenia. I used to love L'heure Blue and Mitsouko when I was younger and wanted to be more mysterious. I am sure that neither one suited me.
