I'm just having a really, really hard time to think, that's in fact a true story - imo, it's a totally made up horror/ghost fairy tale. As where would that kid suddenly come from in the night, exactly so shortly after the others had tried to convince him of that other ranger's creepy death? & How would the other, older rangers know, that first dead kid's "bloated body" dragged him into the water to drawn him (with a "smile on his face") - these were just by far too many weird details for me, to accept this story as a believable one! Also, compared to those amounts of unbelievable details, he gave zero details about the second dead kid (making the story even more nonsensical) - so admittedly it sounded great and heartbreaking, but don't watch it twice to find any logical explanations.

Honest question, wouldn’t putting teeth in a plastic bag that you had your lunch in be considered cross contamination of evidence? Or since they use the inner tissues of the teeth to identify victims does it not matter?
@alicefayxxo

Mint chocolate chip
@sarasmr4278
@sarasmr4278 4 года назад
Yes. You'd risk contaminating it with your own DNA too. It would be much better to call the police out so they could search the whole area for evidence and recover it properly. But TBH they might not be willing to do that for a handful of teeth. DNA testing is expensive and there's no evidence of a crime. Still, I'd let the police decide that for themselves, instead of risking messing up a crime scene.
@little_lion_heart9850
@little_lion_heart9850 4 года назад
I think that as someone who is not a professional and was just trying to get the evidence to the police they wouldn't press charges. Usually tampering with evidence has to be intentional I think. Plus, I think he was worried about leaving them there because if that other guy left the teeth there he might come back and take the evidence before the police could get there.

Story three: So, the guy was afraid his friend would bleed out by the time he got him to some place that could help him... but considered leaving him there while he went to get help. Which would take *longer*. Yes, I'm sure a medical center would allow a man who'd had "chunks of flesh" ripped off him just leave right away to go out drinking with his buddy... WTF, dude?

Also, usually Grizzly Bears are not known to actively hunt humans. A Grizzly Stalking two people, having a gun shot close to its ears, then getting bear sprayed, yet it still came back later to stalk them. This behaviour is practically never seen in grizzlies, especially not in the spring-summer seasons. In the rare instance that a grizzly would eat a human, park rangers must hunt it down and kill it Also, seasoned Hikers are unaware of emergency phone lines? And how national parks have a rescue force on hand that uses special phone lines that you can call even when you’re out of normal cellular range? I live in Canada about 2 hours away from where he’s describing, and I can personally tell you that the sequence of events described is very suspicious

Hearing very realistic sounds of someone drowning and just ignoring it? I don't feel bad for the guy one bit. It's a sad story, the rangers are grade A asshats - But overall, he should of checked...

Love it when the stories are, at the very least, grounded in reality. A quick search yields results about Carol Sund, and Silvina Pelosso were indeed killed and found in a burnt out car by "a man" (Does not say anything about a forest ranger, which it should).

I'm sitting up listening to something creepy, as is my norm I've dealt with insomnia for as long as I can recall. All is pleasant, calm. Wife fell asleep with her little nite light on again. When from somewhere above me a large, & highly motivated spider, decides to drop down onto my chest. I blame my wife, if not for that goofy light I may have just flicked, blindly at a possible fly, but no, I got to look deep into all 6 or 8 of its eyes. After a small, spastic, freak out, & some choice words, she is somehow still asleep, the cat is judging me, & the spider, is probably fine no worse for ware.

That guy in story 3 seems to have no clue how wolves behave if he thinks they'd just immediately go after a pair of full-grown humans and tear them apart. That kind of mentality regarding them is kind of a big reason why wolves were on the Red List until a few years ago and are regionally extinct in most of America.

Not to mention them describing grizzlies as ‘murder machine’. But They are hunters. What do we expect, them singing lullabies to wolf pups? These are people who fear for their own lives while taking others’ for ‘sport’. And then expect (& get) sympathy online. 🙄

Wolves will circle a group of adults hunting, but not necessarily attack. You see wolves often in MT, they arent as rare of a sight as other places. I've lived in Montana my whole life and worked at Glacier Park. And also, you are not allowed to hunt in Glacier National Park, it is not legal.

OMFG!!!! I live in Bozeman Montana!!!! I’m 29 and I’ve lived here for 26 years!!! I love Bozeman and Montana with all of my heart! As us locals say “Montana is the last best place on earth!” Meaning everywhere else has been mostly tainted by humans where Montana has barely been touched compared to everywhere else! Love that you had a story from my home! You should try to contact the man that got attacked by a black bear TWICE and survived! There was the initial attack that he managed to walk away from then a few miles later on his way back to his vehicle to find help he got attacked for the second time... I don’t wanna tell all though! Just in case! Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll try to find the article and share the link for you to check out!

Not sure about that last story. Just how many little boys are drowning in that lake? And wouldn't parents have raised a huge alarm when they discover their boys are missing at the various times, rousing the different rangers before the bodies were discovered? Also, strange how the bodies were said to have washed up on the shore quietly, as if the rangers were the only ones aware, and both washed ashore right at the shoreline points of the cabins the rangers were staying at that night.

I really admire the person from story 3; the way they worded themselves made them seem like a down to earth & humble individual. So much respect to their mate from the story.. what a harrowing experience. I couldn’t even imagine.

Story 3: wolves aren't a natural predator of humans and kill by going for the throat. The chances of you being attacked by wolves are highly unlikely. The chances of being eaten alive by wolves are next to nothing. Bears, though...bears ARE a natural predator of humans and our species has feared them for a very long time. It's easy to forget when you see videos of them being big goofballs playing, but they can be very dangerous and often are.

Yes. A wolf will choke you out before eating. A bear will just tear off what it wants.

It's a good thing the OP in the first story took all the requisite courses to be a park ranger even though it's never something they thought they'd do with their life! That environmental science degree and what not came in handy.

Ok, freaking out now. I just recorded the room with my cell. Three orbs, could be dust. But a whispering voice saying something that sounds like T4, then a dark growly voice says something including T4 and some weird noises. That was very messed up. I saw the orbs about 4 months ago in almost every video where my kid is. I sleep with her, so that's why the orbs are here. That's nuts. T4, clear as a damn bell

Ok. I am generally a skeptical person. However, I was driving from Memphis, TN to Louisville, KY after being at a bowl game. Go CARDS! Anyway, it was extremely cold and light snow was falling. I had just past from Tennessee into Kentucky. The snow started to get heavier. As I got closer to Mammoth Cave the interstate was covered in snow and ice. I was driving about 40 mph. Unfortunately, a guy in front of me had just slid off of the road. He was decked out in Cardinal gear so we stopped to help him out. Just as everyone was getting back on the road we saw a huge, hairy "man" walking towards us. He, it, whatever, had a stench that was horrid. We were all dumbfounded. As he drew closer we realized that it was a Bigfoot-like creature. We got out of there as soon as possible. A few weeks later a Bigfoot research called me to ask about that experience. He said that the area where we were is one of the places that has a great amount of Bigfoot sightings. I am a believer now.

This prob sounds awful but I’m kinda glad the man didn’t kill the bear although it hurt his friend. I’m glad he just used the mace: leaving the bear alive. After all it was just being a wild animal in the face of feeling threatened by humans crossing its path/hunger...

BTW, something very similar happened - at least wound and impossibility of survival-wise, to young Leit. Snowden, CSA Artillery Corps, during the final year or so of the Civil War, wound wise. Snowden was the youngest artillery commander in the Southern Army, and was directing his battery’s fire, leading from the front, when Federal counter battery fire scored a direct hit on the cannon and gun crew whose artillery piece he was standing directly next to. He was struck by either a cannon ball’s shrapnel, a fragment of one of his cannons, a wood splinter from it’s gun carriage, or possibly even a glancing blow from one of the severed limbs or bones of said gun’s former crewmen, and his lower belly was ripped completely open, spilling all of his entrails directly onto the dirt, blood soaked mud and debris of what had only moments before been a living breathing, well oiled and vital section of his command. Startled to see them laying there before him, and realizing with a sudden shock they belonged to him, he amazingly carefully gathered them together, cleaned them off as best as he could- almost certainly with the same water they used to sponge out the cannons, but perhaps not- and then? Well then he literally gingerly coiled them up, and stuffed them back into his trunk via his stomach’s gaping wound, and held it closed best he could. Then who happens by, but his friend, the Surgeon General of the CSA, to whom a now buoyantly rallying, typically cheerful and gregarious Sowden says something like: “Boy, I shOre am glad to see YOU, General! I need this here wound sewn up!” But the SG sadly shook his jaded Irish head, and with obviously sincere and heartfelt, but brutally honest and a seemingly cruelly curt bluntness, he flat out refused to even try. Instead, he told Snowden he needed to stop being so cheerful and realize he was as good as dead, and pointed out he couldn’t be wasting time on him, when there were so many others with extremely severe injuries, but who’d actually at least have a real chance of surviving, if he’d not waste time on hopeless cases, and at least tried for them. Despite their friendship, he wouldn’t operate. He rode off to the Army’s makeshift Field Hospital, where the corpses and sawed off limbs were being already being separated and stacked like cordwood into piles as high as the operating theatre tents themselves. Hours later, a now fatigued and blood and whisky soaked CSA AG was heading back on the same road from the misery at the Confederate Field Hospital, and as passed the site where the Confederate Batteries had commanded that hill, he was shocked and quite frankly horrified and amazed to find young Snowden STILL alive and STILL holding his guts in, still commanding what little was left of his battery, hours after he rightfully should have decently given up and died, in the Doctor’s honest personal opinion. Snowden AGAIN begged him to operate, stressing that he was too young to die, (he was only 19, and as I’d said, already commanding a Confederate arty battery- I believe he’d been only 16 when he’d joined at the beginning of the war, coming directly out of Virginia Military Academy, where he’d been one of then Professor of Artillery Stonewall Jackson’s students, and not a particularly good one, despite which, like so many poor students at West Point- Grant comes to mind- he became a brilliant commander - he was EXTREMELY popular with the young ladies & daughters of of the Confederacy, and he played piano and danced at all their soirées, not to mention he was beloved by not only Jackson -while he’d lived- who’d promoted him, but also his, by then, former staff, but he was also loved and much caressed by General Lee and his own l staff and command--which was how he Snowden and the Surgeon General knew each other). Hearing all this the feisty Irish SG finally, though more than a little tactlessly and gracelessly, truculently agreed to operate; but he AGAIN warned Snowden it wouldn’t do him the least bit of any good, cautioned him pessimistically, but honestly, not to get his hopes up, he’d still almost certainly be dead by morning. After all, this was often true back then, hadn’t Jackson died after being grazed superficially by a bullet when he was taken suddenly by pneumonia? The SG had been surprised to find him still alive, but he wouldn’t be surprised to know he’d wasted his time when he found him dead in the morning. He knew his trade. Well… Snowden did NOT die. He not only lived, he survived the Civil War- in and of itself a miracle, not just for someone who, like he had, had actually fought in every major engagement in either Army, in the Eastern and.Virginian Theatre, but even more-so for someone who’d done all that AND been in the CSA throughout the entire war, as although casualties originally were far, far heavier on the Union side, by the end of the war they found generals who could lead and stomach the loss of men it would take to win, and the South just couldn’t replace their casualties and KIA- new estimates in a NYT article on census and remarriage license data prove it was nearly or more than a million Americans who lost their lives on either side of this conflict- it was a a meat grinder- but even more so than the miracle of Snowden’s having survived those two ways of certain death, he not only fought in every major action in the Eastern Theaters, but he’d done so under Jackson and Lee’s independent and joint commands - AND had been a CSA officer- in and of itself a death warrant- AND a particularly noteworthy one for serving with valor, bravery, and distinction wherever the fighting was truly at its hottest, fiercest, and deadliest - as I said, they led from the front and Snowden was a born leader. The South had almost no experienced officers by the end of the war- so he was an EXTREMELY blessed young man- in all THOSE respects, ALONE. He was promoted to Major and made the ambassador to Prussia where he, amongst almost no foreigners, especially mot Americans, not even American veterans, was eagerly seen by Frederick the Great and his most feared generals - and he was seen as a hero for surviving his wounds, and granted what all Confederate ambassadors had desperately sought since the beginning of the war, but none had achieved, a signed agreement to supply artillery and other weapons and munitions by the equivalent of that era’s major military “superpowers”. Unfortunately for Snowden and “The Cause”, the South and Lee had lost the war at Appomattox before he could return in triumph. Still, he had many children and grand children, and lived to a ripe old age, defying the extremely competent CSA Surgeon General’s seemingly pessimistic, but on the whole, usually very accurate prognoses. *Snowden’s last name was also borrowed by Joseph Heller, for Catch-22’s character shaping moment when his main tries to save the life of one of his bomber crew, and he unzips his flak jacket to reveal it’s the only thing that had kept him from being splashed like a pink and red mist all over the the fuselage’s steel and aluminum hull, and is now all that is preventing him from pouring entirely onto its flooring. He zips it right up. Miracles do happen, they’re RARE AF! They are to be celebrated, to be cheered, so that we can survive when the Ugly Truth rears it’s head, and to serve as examples for those who suddenly and unexpectedly find themselves din similar twisted webs woven by the Fates and Spinners’ and their macabre unfathomable and wonton whims. Lauwdy, Lauwdy! I do declare, but THAT was an unexpected Epic of Babblegimesh… lol, sorry for ramblin’, but like Steve Martin says: “… I’mma RAMBLIN’ guy… oh yes, oh yes, oh yes- oh, NO…”

These are great park stories. And I'm a park person-- once a day hike with my dogs for 19 years. But you know, the last story....I don't think that one is true. It can't be ....it's creepy pasta fiction, right? I mean what's a little boy doing out on the lake at night? Seems other park rangers set dude up? Something's off about that story.
