I personally struggle with absence seizures, myotinic sezuiures, and tonic seizures. Its really great that this video is sharing information kn the different types of seizures besides the stereotypical convulsing seizure
Its a huge struggle. Adults refusing to go to a doctor to seek treatment because if they do their car license gets taken away unless a doctor proclaims them without a seizures for 2 years... ☹😖😐 When many only have these in their sleep.
Hey , can you please help me to understand my daughter's situation??? No medication seems work on her. She is 9 months and she can't hold her head still,but she is not paralyzed,I mean she can move but can't hold her head. Do you guys have seizure syndrome from birth or you have developed this in adulthood? Do babies condition can become normal and they can walk ,write normally???
I had a tonic-clonic seizure a couple days ago, I'm perfectly healthy and have no history of seizures. It was very scary and ever since I have these feelings like it's about to happen again but it doesn't.

I’ve got the Generalized Tonic Clonic seizures. It hurts so bad waking up from one. Entire body is in pain with a migraine added sometimes. My jaws hurt the most usually.
My dog also has these seizures and I didn't knew it hurt. Are there any prevention methods that you use? Also I know human seizures are differ then that of dogs but I'm willing to try
@@user-wc7sx7sk5u I dunno if there is medicine for dogs. But perhaps ask a vet what kind of diet he could have that may make it better. Some foods can actually make things a little easier for seizures to happen even in humans. Some make it less likely. Plenty of sleep and be careful about overheating or dehydration as a must for humans so perhaps for dogs too. If he hasn’t been neutered yet then you may want to change that. It will help lower the chance of seizures for animals. But you might wanna ask a vet before you try any of this. Everyone, even dogs, are all different.

Consult proper neurologist or beat neurologist in your city or another well known city. I also have four of them I take proper medicines but there is no permanent solution it reduces over period of age as per the prescription my neurologist. I often get seizures And two - three times I got the seizure attack in my school.😢😞 My neurologist has said to me to avoid mobile phone I am only 12 years old. I hate this disease 😖😣 Please consult a proper neurologist. All I can do is pray for your child 🙏🏻❤️

I've been suffering from generalised tonic-clonic sezuires since i was 10y/o now that I am 19y/o as well a mbbs student i still get sezuires... Its very painful for a day or two😩..i've headaches, body pain.. Tongue bites, dizziness..what not😢

Please can you help since you can understand her situation more well than us.. All the traits you mentioned happen with her even after treatment of 2-3 years. Although they stopped during the period of treatment but as soon it got completed, they started again .. pls help..
I started having seizures about a year ago and I think it's the tonic clonic type I have been having and just learned I'm epileptic we thought it was a blood pressure issue but I met my mom and she told me that she has epilepsy and then we were releaved

I have some form of absence seizures but I don’t have any form of uncontrollable body movements and I’m able to stay partly consentrated during the episodes. I don’t know exactly what it is and doctors haven’t been able to understand what it is but it’s definitely something. The seazures were more prominent when I was a child but now they come in waves, sometimes I can go a year without any, sometimes I get several a day and then I either faint or get a nose bleed from it.
On thanks giving I saw my mother stand up, looking up, stumble, like trying to run from something than fall on the ground, making small horrific noises, than got sent to the hospital, her first seizure in over ten years.

I have a question recently I have found playing my brothers favorite game shortly after flickering lights showed I started shaking really bad and it’s happened a couple times every time after playing this game, is this something I should be worried about?
my cousin had seizures from stress.. she had them about 15 times each day! it was VERY scary as my family isnt used to this. my family went to the hospital and the nurses didnt do anything besides give her medicine that doesnt help. the doctors were also SUPER rude and no help. when she was having a seizure, we yelled that shes having one but they said "its not time for her meds yet" and then my family got MAD MAD so after that the nurses got tired of my family yelling "SHES HAVING A SEIZURE!!" so they got in there and said nasty things to my family. so my family got ahold of the head of the hospital and she was sooo nice anyway my fingers tired byee
I had a grand mal seizure 2yrs ago and diagnosed with epilepsy later. I didn't remember anything about the seizure but the aftermath, God, its crazyyy Im taking about the headache. Its soo baaddd Felt like Im ready to just pull my head out and put it on the table
I don’t know but I think I had a seizure last night, it was like 2:00 am or something and my cat was lying at my feet. I was about to fall asleep, then I heard a loud noise and my entire body started shaking for a good 5 seconds.
@@sniper74839 i will feel like i want to faint and my head keeps squeezing. But sometime i can fight the aura by forcing myself to vomit. After i vomit i feel like my head become more expand. But usually i lose in the aura fight 😐.

It's very rude if you said that or soon you do that too bc you being rude. And I know this is very exsist this is not fake at all this is how people do so if you saw people eating that have seizure you have to help them bc people can't eat very well so don't say that. Or soon you do that too😢😢
I don't know if what I'm experiencing is a seizure. I'm conscious but I'll just be sitting or doing something then all the sudden it feels like my whole body starts shaking or viciously vibrating but my body is not moving except for my eyes (i think) which violently shakes or tilts to a strange position. After, it finishes I'm very fatigued and dizzy, like I'm is swaying or sinking yet I'm once again not moving.
my classmate has seizure I think its Clonic seizure not sure what type but every time she sleeps in class and minutes later she will drop onto the floor and have seizure

I had myoclonic seizures frequently,then it changed into tonic seizure And after consulting doctor,I have been eating tablets like levpil,valproic acid... Alhamdulillah I'm fine now Can you tell me the reason why I got 2 diff types of that? Or is it normal to have like that?
When my husband first had his seizure im not gonna lie his body contorted and i thought he was possessed! I layer found out at the hospital that he suffered a seizure and since then hes suffered many more hes on medication now.
