This video reminded me why I don't fancy getting my hair straightened. Having to be concerned about not allowing moisture from steam,sweat, water etc from reverting my strands is not my kind of good time 😅. But possibly getting it blown dried stretched out may be an alternative option to consider during the cooler months.🤔 You looked so beautiful with your hair looking like a lion's mane 🦁.😁 Thanks for sharing 🎉🙏🏾

That color looks lovely on you! And your hair, love that too. 🥰 This was interesting. First, I love the heavy butter you did to keep your strands as moisturized as possible. But yeah, wearing out long hair all the time isn’t practical for every day life, especially with children. And like you said, stretched hair is not all that much easier AND you’re trying to keep water and steam away! That was my experience being a blow dried natural for a time. And the chronic dryness just slithered right on in. 😅 Informative video! 👍🌺

4:05 I feel that! It's actually one of the reasons I don't straighten my hair a tonne. All that work just to put it in a bun? When I could have saved two hours and just done it with my natural hair? 😅😅 I have a whole folder of saved styles to do on straight hair too, and I always end up doing like, 1. 😅 7:30 I can't handle an itchy scalp. I wish I could go longer than two weeks with any given style but my scalp just won't let me 😭 I like your hair accessories in this vid! It's good to experiment; I thought all your blowout styles were beautiful, and your hair was so shiny too❤

I find stretching my hair with no heat in small tight braids for a. Few days gives me similar blowout results

I considered this a protective style! In fact my hair is like this99.9999% of the time and I think it looks elegant and professional. Long term protective styles dont work for my fine hair. I like being able to care for my hair often and quickly.

Another wonderful video detailing your hair journey. I love all of the styles you shared and the two French braids are a favorite. You wear them well! I was thinking back to when you recently shared concern about the shedding you are experiencing. I was diagnosed with Telogen Effluvian, which lasted for about six months between August of 2023 until January 2024, resulting in shedding over a third of my arm pit length hair.😔 The condition is a process, meaning nothing can be done about it to stop the shedding. Once I was back to my normal shedding amount, I happened to begin using Ominira Naturals, especially the hair strengthening oil. The products are made by Janet Davies, your sister hair influencer. Immediately after use of the strengthening oil, my hair virtually stopped shedding! If you have not done so, please just check out her videos and her shop.
