I remember sitting on crappy lawn chairs with my friend, we each had a copy of ultra sun and we would stay outside until the street lights came on. watching the sunset, drinking entire 24 pack cases of waters by ourselves, coming straight from gen 4 Alola had so much to offer, being amazed at all the little things like changing clothes or how you throw a poke ball in the beginning of a fight. I got a Gengar through wonder trades, it would not obey me so I traded it off and regretted watching that level 60 ghost type disappear, ultra wormholes being the coolest things ever. Battling each other, using the GTS for hours, I can't wait for him to get a switch so we can relive those memories and make new ones. during 2020 my mom got us out of an abusive situation and ultra sun was there through that time as well, its crazy how much a game can impact your life and memories, I live further away from my friend now which is difficult as we went from hanging out every day to once a year. I still keep in touch and we play a lot of Destiny together which I am very grateful for I don't know what I would do without him, I wish all of you wonderful evenings, mornings and nights no matter where you are or what you're going through there is always a rainbow after a storm, Alola my friends.

I remember I had a friend in 6th grade and we played Heartgold/Soulsilver. I had Hg and she had Ss. We both picked cyndaquil. We traded and battled on our 3DSs. She got a Kyogre and I had and Groudon, so we each traded with each other and got Rayquaza. I remember her having a hard time with the dark type elite four. Some of my most nostalgic pokemon memories were with her. Now I am much older and in college and I haven't talked to her in years.

Even though some may disagree, the 3DS Pokemon games were truly something special, I already feel so much nostalgia towards them. Just you wait, in a few more years, Gen 6 and 7 will be looked just as fondly like Gen 4 and 5 currently are right now.

fully agree. They were definitely a bit easy (especially ORAS) but the games were solid. Oras definitely did have too much water but i think X/Y is just an absolute masterpiece of a game. Kalos region is just so DISTINCT!!! i love it.

I love Iki Town's Night Theme. It's so peaceful. Speaking of night themes, the theme that plays when you soar on the Latis at night in ORAS is rather soothing as well.

The scuba diver theme in ORAS is honestly so underrated. I didn't even recognize it when it popped up. It makes sense though. Trainer themes tend to not shine as much as other themes

Iki Town at night is just so relaxing, reminds me of my good old Alola region where I came from 🥺 I now have migrated over to the Galar’s Crown Tundra deep in some Dynamax Adventure...I miss hearing the tunes at night played in Iki Town where my fellow guardians and I would hang out...I miss you Fini, Bulu, and Lele :(

Despite the hate that pokémon S/M and USUM got when they first released, i really loved alola and its atmosphere. Hoenn and Alola are my favorite regions and my character decided to stay in alola to live there, im not interested in Galar :v

I totally relate to this, I heard this recently and it hits hard. I can't believe its already been so long since S/M came out. I had so many good memories playing that game and remember being sad that it was over after I beat it. Despite it being somewhat of a short time so much has changed since then. There was something so nice about the atmosphere of that game, being in a relaxing yet bustling little island. Ahhh, sometimes it feels like it would be nice to be transported somewhere like that.

Gosh, I love the 3DS games so much. It's where I started with Pokemon and it made me buy older games and continue buying new ones. The Brendan/May emotion theme really hits me in the feels, along with Southern Island, Snowbelle City, Santalune Forest, Lilycove City and many more.

i always come back to this compilation. i grew up with mostly the later gens so this one is my favourite mix as it has so many gen 6/7 tracks :) even still i remember around gen 4 era playing the pokepark games on the wii with my dad. no one ever talks abt those games & it seems hardly anyone knows of them but they're honestly so much fun! i continue to be blown away by how amazing the music from pokemon games is. have a good day if ur reading this :> sidenote: nothing lifts my mood like that poke pelago night theme ahhh it's SO GOOD

Shiny remoraid on Kyogre, shiny wailord in the backround, shiny luvdisc to the left, shiny kingdra in the coral, shiny shellder on top of the coral?, shiny tentacool bottom right and I think there is a shiny mantine but I can't tell if it's a shiny or just the water distorting the color.
