Pragg worked really hard to get this position. Chess needs more govt support so that more n more players can start learning chess.

@@umangkumar2904 adani supported him when he already became a established player. He did it on his own. Zero govt support. If the govt would have supported there will be barrage of GMs in India

@@nkihil1 chess still gets a lot of support though. Compared to other countries, getting sponsorships for top players is much more easy in India. But yes we can still do better. Although personally imo, there are a lot of other sports which have much dire need of support from government than chess.

@@kunalsingh4418 I have been playing chess from past 15 years. Never found any govt agency who provides professional training free of cost. Taking professional coaching in India requires lot of money. Although, the career in chess is very bleak, that's why parents are hesitant in pushing their ward career in chess. So atleast don't lecture me on how much govt supports young aspirant players of chess.

I like Pragg's approach to chess, there's always lot of pressure and it's not easy. I like to see Pragg chill and confident. Humble too, keep it up!

What I love about Pragg : humility, respect for other chess players, taking wins and losses in his stride, objectivity, confidence in his hard work and abilities, most important self-awareness

Mmm... Have noticed, very rare Pragg calls Vaishali by name. He prefers to address her as 'my sister'.💜💜💜💜💜
@atulbesra822
@atulbesra822 10 дней назад
She is his elder sister. In India people avoid taking the name of their elders. If they have to, they add some word of respect like brother, sister, sir, uncle etc iif they have to take the name of some senior. For example Anand is always addressed as Anand sir by Indian chess players.
