It’s weird that the delibird was purple. I heard the same thing happened with someone’s mudkip in ruby/sapphire a while ago. Resetting the game fixes that bug.
I actually caught the one I found, and it's not a bug. It's just a super rare alternately colored Pokemon. Hmm. I wonder if there's a shorter catchier name for them...
@@dawnsbunearyLet’s call them sparkly huntable issues nice YES sparkly because sometimes the sparkle when you find them, huntable because I’m sure people will want to hunt them in a few years, issues because I’m pretty sure they’re glitches, nice because they are very nice and cool and YES because I’m sure that’ll be the reaction those hunters will have when they find them now if only there were a way to shorten that…
Sadly as Gamefreak said there won’t be any Pokémon games after gold or silver but if there were I think it would be cool to have ways to increase sparklies. I wonder if anybody would get mad since it won’t be as rare anymore?

Great video as always Matt! I don't know if you take suggestions for these gauntlets, but a simple one I've always thought about is getting to level 100 through Rock Smash encounters.
Me and some pals made up a fun way to play hide and seek with the synchro machine, so here’s the rules in case you want to play! 1.) select one person to be the seeker, the other people are hiders 2.) randomly select one of the four biomes- I use a wheel to randomly select one. All hiders must hide in that selected biome and cannot leave that biome (this makes it so the seeker has a better chance of winning because they don’t have to look around the entire dome). 3.) each hider then randomly selects a Pokémon using a random number generator set from 1 to 243. Each hider selects the Pokémon that corresponds to the number they got in the BB dex (doduo is 1, dodrio is 2, etc.). If the hider rolls a number that corresponds to a Pokémon they physically cannot get (i.e., event Pokémon like Walking Wake), they reroll until they get a number that corresponds to a Pokémon they can get. The seeker is not allowed to know what Pokémon the hiders are playing as (this adds to the fun of the game, trust me). Shiny Pokemon are NOT banned, so you can flex your shinies in hide and seek if you want. 4.) each hider has 3 minutes (amount of time is up to personal preference) to hide in the selected zone. Me and my friends ban hiding and/or camping in the sky, as it generally drags the game out way longer than it would otherwise be. 5.) once the 3 minutes are up, or once all hiders say that they are ready, the seeker, who gets to be on koraidon/miraidon, gets a max of 10 minutes to find all the hiders (once again, this number is up to personal preference, but I find that 10 minutes works best for a 3-hider game). It should be noted that, once the hiders are in their spots, they cannot leave or change spots- this makes it so the seeker actually has a chance of finding everybody. 6.) if the seeker finds somebody, they’re out. If the seeker finds all hiders before the 10 minutes are up, the seeker wins. Otherwise, the hiders win. Enjoy!

Woohoo! Great LV 100 guantlet. I was honestly thinking of trying this myself, but got too caught up in a synchro stats slideshow that I'm making for myself... also the reference to the Cascoon VS Silcoon swag argument was on point
I don’t mean this to be rude at all, but there was a level 100 uploaded a couple weeks or so ago. You should definitely go watch it if you haven’t seen it.
Hey Absol! I have an EXCELLENT idea for a level 100 gauntlet. The Snacksworth legendaries can all be defeated, and after 1 hour of the switch's internal clock counting down, plus a save and soft reset, they'll respawn. You could take your Gauntlet Pokemon (Kubfu would be thematically appropriate, but any others would obviously do), and simply take it and defeat all 25 legendaries, wait an hour, save and reset, and do it all again until level 100. I think this is one of the best ways to do specifically a legendary only level 100 gauntlet, as you don't have to beat the pokemon league (or academy ace tournament) to reset legendaries.
throughout the video when you're doing your voice over there's a very persistent sound that might be ventilations such as your pc's fans idk you might wanna setup a noise gate or raise your existing one, anyhoo lv. 100 gauntlets are always a (baja)blast to watch, thank you for your hard work and dedication to this madness!
holy moly i wasnt expecting to hear electrocutica in the background music, i got super into the album that the song at 1:40 is from right around the time scarlet and violet came out last year so i was listening to it a bunch while playing the game. makes me kinda nostalgic even though it was only a year and a few months ago

Im not sure about this but i had a similar situation where i found a shiny milcery in the ocean part of the coastal biome in synchro mode while i was on the other side of the map in the polar biome on top of the mountain. i wanted to see if it would still be there when i got there and it was. Unless it was incredibly lucky that there just so happened to be another shiny milcery in the exact spot, i think it saves the location/holds it or whatever.
