Doctor- “how do you want your sons name on his birth certificate?” Larry - “my sons name is Larry Wheels pr.” Doctor- “don’t you mean Jr.” Larry - “no”
I had this kinda situation in my first gym. There was guy who was competing in power lifting and when he was deadlifting all i could use was just 10kg plates max total weight maybe 100kg. Yes it was small oldschool gym..
@@bigtonyok let that bitch drop on ur chest n tell me agian it's light weight 💀 niggas thinking doing it for more than 10 reps is all of a sudden pussy weight
Yeah, that's quality. Good to hear him mention injury prevention, too. Gotta keep those shoulders healthy. We want to be strong into old age, not broken down.
Larry just dropped a serious jewel for all of us. "More training is not always better. More food and more sleep is". Thats BIG FACTS. I will take an extra day off sometimes and then come back stronger. Listen to your body people. ✊🏾💪🏾
Right on, Larry! Right on! I've been doing leg presses instead of squats for a few months. Squats are difficult due to injuries, but I want to still build muscle. I pressed 895 last week for the first time, which for someone with injuries and mobility issues is a huge deal to me. Last workout, I hack squat just under 400. Both were PRs. I mention this because due to disabilities, I'm forced to take longer breaks in between training days. I lift only twice a week now, and notice because of the more rest in between, my strength has increased dramatically.
The only thing I would say about that is, he goes nuts and yells after bigs lifts. Never saw Eric Spoto do that after doing 700lbs+. Eric was super chill and acted like his heavy lifts were no big deal. So yeah, he's humble up to a point.
@@dakotawolf5155 Fairly certain that is a basic release of energy. I've felt that way after pushing myself during a struggle. Don't think it's boasting or trying to peacock. The body just seems to erupt and vocal release can feel cathartic.
@@adnanroshan2768 The world record is a controlled, slowly executed 335kg with a pause after unracking the weight and a pause on the chest. This 307kg was a rushed and bounced rep. It's a lot of weight for sure. Only few people have achieved what he did but still - not a clean rep.
I still watch this video atleast weeks to motivate me to continue to hit the weights. If watching Larry bench 675 lbs doesn't motivate you to workout then I don't think anything will. Absolute animal!
@@skaizu Im guessing he is from eastern EU, in some countries muscle mass gains would be translated directly as "dry" (without fat)muscle mass, or lean muscle, etc its wrong term and there is no such thing but its saying.
Anders Mulder Larry is strong as fuck but people on the internet don’t understand how fucking heavy that is and how much that weight will wreck someone’s joints and body in general. Doing 675 for a double would be fucking insane.
El Señor T Larry probably can’t fight but if Larry gets a hold of him sorry But Robbie is getting Crushed same thing when Conor Was “Fighting the Mountain”
Noa Beckmann but he has a extreme healthier look than Ronnie did. The prevention Larry does will probably keep him out of a will chair. Love Ronnie but it’s was extremely amount of juice, insane amount of food and lift like no tomorrow.
@@Solidsteakx Arnold said people should learn to "Sleep Faster", and that he only sleeps six hours a day. Larry > Arnold One problem with using Arnold as the example is part of the reason sleep is so good for muscle growth is that your body releases growth hormones when you sleep, if Arnold had replacement steroids in his regular stack then maybe he didn't need 8+ hours of sleep. Of course I'm no expert so I can't say for sure if that's actually possible. Also, it's not like sleep deprivation prevents protein synthesis altogether, it just slows you down. Arnold probably just gave up around 10% of his potential if he only slept 6 hours a night through his career. Or maybe he was just telling people to sleep less because he was in a motivational video about getting more done with your life and not specifically talking to a bunch of weight lifters.
Some people have a gene that let's them sleep 6 hours and feel fully rested, most people need 8, you can go online and read about it. Mark wahlburg gets up at 3am every morning, but he goes to sleep at 7, you need to get the hours in 💪🏼💪🏼
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. Just curious, do you do most of your bench training reps touch and go as opposed to paused?
What you said about rest is soo true! I haven’t had a deload or a real rest day in over a year and today i strained my mid back muscle while deadlifting. I didn’t rest enough and today my body really told me enough is enough
Hey Larry don't know if you'll see this, but we all know you're getting that 1,000 lb deadlift, Keep grinding brother, the world can't wait to see it!!!
@@johnantoine1477 keep up the good work bro trust me it will pay off dedication just trying to give you some motivation hopefully it'll help and keep it up bro
@American Patriot In one of the videos with Brian Shaw, Eddie stated his height is the optimum height for the mechanics of a human body performing a deadlift. Apparently, If you're short, you're fucked, and if you're really tall, you're kind of fucked. Eddie said right at his height is the Goldilocks zone. I wish I can remember the video but I think it's on Shaw's channel when they are doing their series of funny videos going around to gyms.
You are 25 years old and you are already the strongest in the world in all the basic ones, someday I would like to be as big and strong as you, you are the best inspiration Larryyy
