6hp yamaha outboard new water pump won't pump no water been sitting a few months 

This yamaha 6hp aux boat motor has no water coming out the pee hole it has a new water pump installed about 12 months ago.
Only things is both motors have been sitting a few months they where last running.
So i fired it up got a bit of wire stuck it up the pee hole and we have water.
This water is cooling for the head without the water flow you cook ya engine.
The 70hp Yamaha motor i never filmed it but i had to take the carbs of and clean the bottom carb bowl the needle and seat was gummy.
it was pissing petrol out everywhere and running down the back of the leg and fouling spark plugs shake bad and stalling.
I never had time to film it running sold the boat.
