Congrats on the shiny. What I'm wondering is though, did they change the odds of shines in this game since I've hatched 800+ eggs and no shiny milcery. Plus I've watched other shiny videos and people went up to 1,000 or 2,000+ eggs even with the charm. My scorbunny took 31 eggs though so I don't know what's going on there.

They didn't change anything I hatched a shiny after 17 eggs once I also don't have a shiny litten after over 1600 eggs That's how luck can be unfortunally

The first shiny i saw was a graverler in hg and i didn't know what a shiny was back then becuase i never encountered one or heard of them, so i tried to catch it and it broke out of the ultra ball and it used self destruct. This was before the guaranteed red gyarados

For eggs? It takes a lot longer to hatch eggs than it does to do encounters, for the most part.

@@joshuastreet8664 I was doing Masuda and Shiny Charm, so my odds were 1/455 from the get go. lol. Those were my longest droughts though but I have had 4 shinies within 5 hours before. God I hate RNG lol.

@@Mry5991 Masuda + Shiny Charm is 1/512 actually. 8 rolls of the RNG at 1/4096. Not to discredit you, but going to 5,000 eggs is super super rare. I've done a couple hundred Masuda hunts and the longest hunts have gone into the 2,000s. If you weren't counting, I'd guess you were 2-3k probably.
