Tsushima is a big island with lots to explore, but before you take the fight to the Mongols, don't miss these things to do first in Ghost of Tsushima. For more guide help, check out our wiki at www.ign.com/wi... #ign
saw a guy on twitter moaning how he’d already finished the story and how short it was. The biggest tip for this game is don’t rush. Take your time, do the side tales, follow birds and foxes whenever you see them, start coversations with any NPCs with the talk icon for rumors. You’ll have a much more enjoyable playthrough
Nathaniel Ricci Absolutely, I’ve been playing the game nonstop since release, been taking my time doing all the quests and I barely just released Yuna’s brother
Oscar Mendoza well yeah exactly you’ve been taking your time doing all the quests.. assuming he rushed through the story missions rather than the tales
This is so true. And I noticed something on s personal level. I played 2 hours last night and then I just felt like I needed to stop. It was enough. And now I m thrilling to get back in but I know I m not in a rush. Just as I binged Last of us, this game is something else. I want to take time and dont need to play 8 hours straight, it s so cool to let it rest, this is the first game ever that make me feel like this
1. Get the half bow 2. Get the long bow 3. Get the legendary archer outfit 4. Unlock concentration 5. Upgrade bows and arrow capacity 6. Upgrade outfit 7. Profit
If ur able to get tadayori to its max on New Game + with the archery challenge charm maxed out, there’s nothing more statisfying than just having infinite concentration and just nailing guys in the head
I noticed this on the last leader I had killed. I didn't think it would count after I had observed him first. Can you ALWAYS observe the leaders before killing them?
@@dOOKIEbROWN425 Look for leaders that are practicing their swordplay. They always look in one direction so try to get behind their line of sight and when youre close enough the R2 prompt should pop up. I highly recomended learning all the stances by the time you reach Yarikawa. Shortly after the events that occur the enemies get harder.
Honestly, I haven’t had this much playing a video game in a very long time. I’ve been gaming for well over 15 years so I can get burnt out or bored very easily. Bought this game yesterday and put in 8 hours and woke up today wanting to do nothing else but get back to playing. Thank you Sucker Punch for revitalizing my love for gaming!
What's crazy is, I'm watching this after having the game for a few days. These are all the things I just wandered into after straying from the story, an free roaming. That says something about the game design, that it's just natural to explore and come across all the best early game content, without even feeling like you're being led there
Just finished the prologue, and my map just opened. I'm going to do *The Warriors Code* Tale right now and make use of some of these tips! *This video came at the perfect time!!!*
I played like 14 or 15 hours before I even saved the brother there's just so much to do in this world it's so full of life there's stuff to literally around every corner
I can confirm these tips are legit. Cause it's exactly what I did when I started playing and it's so much better. Be sure to do the mythic tales they are great.
I agree. I'm xbox and pc only. Even PC doesn't have anything like this. But let's see what 13 new game first party game studios microsoft purchased have. Each is supposed to make 2 new games each.
Sony definitely has the best exclusives for sure and have killed it with the PS4 ones. I dunno wtf Microsoft is doing and I do prefer the xbox controller. I do enjoy both systems though.
The upgraded smoke bomb is frickin dope. It reminds me of assassins creed, as u can assassinate enemies that are blinded in the smoke. It's especially useful when your surrounded by brutes
I’ve been doing a playthrough on this game and I am genuinely love with it. I mean I was in love with it when the trailer dropped but now I have it. Omg, it’s just perfect. If anyone wants to check it out I would really really appreciate it
Isofrey i absolutely adore Japanese films and the culture in general, and I absolutely love samurai’s and ninja’s since I was a kid. So this game for me is just a masterpiece, I’ll be playing it so much
This game is incredible. I played Tenchu back in the day and I'm a massive fan of RDR and Batman Arkham series. This game puts my loves together in one beautiful piece of gaming brilliance.
The game world seems to be about 9km long by 2km wide, based on its map/world measurements. Noting a 1km distance on the map from my character to a map marker, I used a finger to note that measurement, and then loosely scrolled the map about for an approximate measurement. When you’re looking at the map, zoomed in, it’s at a slight angle (not a true top-down view), so there’s a slight optical distortion on perceived measurements versus actual ones, so that 9x2km approximation is inevitably wrong - but I don’t think I’m wildly wrong. Of course, with bays and inlets etc, it’s not a blocky rectangular 9x2km, but that’s probably close enough to its overall size. Hope that helps...
Bought this when came out and never played it until now haha. Man games are super sick now. This one had me nervous since all 80s kids were into ninjas if had a dingy anyway. It exceeded my expectations. Fun game and hard
It should have been mentioned that you need to complete the blood on the grass main quest to make the musician to appear in hiroshi springs to get the longbow. He doesn't just appear after getting the halfbow....
I've never been so happy to get lost in a game. I will plan to follow the story, and 5 hours later I realize I havent even gotten to the way point yet 😂
TAKE YOUR TIME, THERE IS NO NG+ ATM, SO SLOW YOUR ROLL, especially if your playing on Hard. Do all side quest, mongol camps, liberations all that. You’ll appreciate the points and skills you unlock early on before getting further into the game.
@@shamz883 Everyone whos play tested it says it show immense potential. I think it'll be great. Even though I think the witcher is slightly overrated. I think they're gonna do really well with this game.
WHAT!!! I didn't even have this game on my radar! I completely missed this gem! Thank you for the video. I am going to go put myself debt this year from all of the fantastic stuff coming out but honestly I don't care. The world is on fire so I am going to go save a digital world and be a samurai..... peace
When your hunting down leaders for stance points, if you watch them and then kill them you actually get a point for each so two per leader. I was just killin em Took a bit to realize. Dunno if it's a glitch or not, the game didn't tell me about it. Gets you to the moon stance a hell of a lot faster
Thank you so much for the help, I'm one of those stubborn players that obsessively searches for things I might otherwise miss.. I wish I could just enjoy the stories, but the Dark Souls games made me afraid to leave things unexplored. DS vets will know what I'm saying
there's only 1 thing to do in early game: WALK everywhere! Don't use your horse =)) Increase playing time, you get to enjoy the world more and see more interesting stuffs...
played it on launch day, it runs SO WELL on pc. im honestly shocked since usually ps ports have trouble at first. no issues at all. yakuza 0 heats up my pc more than this.
You should really say that you have to beat the grassland mission before you are able to get the long bow I was looking for this side mission for an hour before I googled someone else saying you need to do the grassland mission before you get the long bow even if you already have the half bow
You miss finding camp with general to observe and to kill in order to get all the postures the soonest possible. That's the most important, far above the technics. And it's something to do before taking care of the legendary missions.
If I’m not mistaken, there’s a musician at Hiyoshi Springs. You need to speak to him to trigger the mythic quest. There’s a peasant who inform you to do so but I don’t remember which quest it is though.
Just finished Horizon Zero Dawn (loved it!!) and am considering starting GoTsu while Outriders and Cyberpunk gets their 🦆 quacks 🦆 in a row. How would you all compare these two titles?
@@PhillipLemmon no wait. It has very very nice graphics imagine how graphics will be on ps5 but this detail is the only bad thing everything about this game is excellent , voice actors , graphics , story , music , and stuff. But this detail is so annoying
Does anybody really watch these videos? Like, I just wanna discover stuff on my own without tips that make my playthrough way too checklist-y and similar to other people.
