Seriously. It was so good.

Sony sent it out to die. The proprietary memory cards, the paltry amount of first party software. I love my Vita and I still use it and up until recently I used it for remote play.

Yeah, as much as I love my vita (any time I can play MGS and PS1 Classics on the move is a good time) but I totally get why it was basically abandoned. I just wish they had developed a new portable with full backwards compat rather than the waste of time we got for the PS5. Seriously, that thing is a 200 quid insult.

Unfortunately, the positives of the Vita were not things that could make Sony all that much money. And by the time the Switch came out and showed them how it was supposed to have been done, it was too late.

It didn't sold well. That is why. PS vita was something great but executed terribly. I was thinking to buy it when it came out but as soon as I read about the very expensive propriety memory cards I was out.

They didn't even finish the story. Finish the story and give Sly a happy ending, Sony you cowards!

The Sly Cooper movie was announced over a decade ago!

There's something in development and they're hinting at it in Access but the reveal is TBH.

I'd argue that since Frankenstein "gave his 'monster' life," he's basically its father, and thus it would take his name. Ergo, ipso facto, by virtue of that ironclad logic, Sweet Tooth is correct as well. Checkmate. Jenga. Yahtzee Croshaw.

Yep, played GR2 last year on PS4 so never experienced the multiplayer so it never felt like it was missing anything. From my perspective, the online thing was nothing more than a nuisance. But I'm glad it didn't interfere with the platinum or game too much. It's frustrating when games do this though. I just mentioned this, but the other thing is GR2 also wasn't friendly for new players to the series, story wise. They just continued the story and there was no handholding with it. It's really one of the games where you need to play the first one first as there's no explanations to most stuff. You either knew or you didn't. I tend to only play a lot of series from first to last, but I imagine for some, that was annoying. Thankfully, the game's story was wrapped up so the games really felt like one package instead of two separate ones.

@@undertakernumberone1 Yeah, I have come across some complaints saying stuff like that with the game not making sense. It's great for current fans but not so much for new ones. I'm glad though it wasn't too unforgiving here and hope you enjoyed it.

I was a latecomer to the series and completely agree, I've been itching to try the multiplayer for years even though I know it's not gonna happen

I'd play that! I enjoyed rebuilding all the towns in the first game. Haven't played the sequel because I can't find the bloody thing. But I'd play it too!

Dark Cloud's problem was the devs spending (wasting, IMO) all of their effort on the White Knight Chronicles games, which were nowhere near as fun as Dark Cloud (especially DC2).

@@Ilikecatsismychannelname - Dark Chronicle (or Dark Cloud 2, depending on which part of the world you're from) is available on the digital Playstation store, if you have access to a PS console. It's just a port of the PS2 version, no remaster/remake, but thought it might be worth mentioning in case you have the means and interest to play it.

100% agree or the other PS2 exclusive from Lvl 5 around that time an update of Rogue Galexy in could easily be done after all the FF7 remake content

@@Vergil4H755 I'm legitimately ashamed of myself for forgetting Rogue Galaxy.

I still own the game and while the forced stealth sections and QTEs were frustrating, I still enjoyed it for the see story and gameplay. I want to see more from our friend, Galahad, since the game ended on a cliffhanger.

The only things the The Order 1886 needed was 3 times the length where the story progresses normally , 2/3rds less of those incredibly boring and bad stealth sections, 9/10ths less QTEs and more focus on the lure and the actual order. I only played the game because of the easy platinum 5 years after the release ,having little to no expectations and somehow the game managed to really disappoint me. Huge potential squandered!

I'd be plenty happy with a tv series adaptation that runs the series to a conclusion. Not enough grimy steampunk on tv/theaters.

And gameplay and better characters and WAY less focus on cut-scenes (i'm still pissed at how 2 chapters are literally cut-scenes) and there you go, game of the year!

That's an Overrated game IMHO. I rather wish for a modern Legend of Legaia game that's actually an underrated gem with a better story on the PS1.

I searched for this, and I'm glad I found someone else who like this game. Wish this would get a remake/sequel treatment

I remember playing it and one of the missions had you using SixAxis guiding the flight of arrows. I was showing my best friend it and during that section I sent an arrow right up the backside of an enemy. We couldn't stop laughing.

Heavenly Sword got THE best acting I ever seen in video games. Emotions are so natural and RAW. I love it. But with current trend I’m afraid they are gonna ruin everything by using AI to “upgrade” the graphics, but ruining facial animations instead.

When I read this my gut reaction was no way it’s been a decade but then I had a think and now I feel old. Love that series

I was positive that we would get a Legend of Dragoon prequel about the first war.

It actually is a little mystifying as to why sony hasn’t done “bloodborne 2: the bloodening” it really is like the easiest slam-dunk for them.

@thejason755 the sequel could be called that or "Bloodborne 2: the Night of Cainhurst", cause nobody remembers what Forsaken Casle Cainhurst was and would be cool to see vilebloods out on the hunt against the executioners of The Healing Church

@@thejason755 Because Sony shut down Japan Studio, who FromSoft collaborated with to make Bloodborne. Plus, it doesn't seem like Miyazaki is interested in making sequels. I doubt we'll see a Sekiro 2, Bloodborne 2, or even a Demon Souls 2. In fact, it's a wonder we even got Dark Souls 3. Miyazaki obviously didn't want to make a 2, but they did it without him anyways and it sucked. So, I imagine he came back to do DS3 to show them hows it's done and remove the stain DS2 left, lol

​@jase276 I wouldn't say that DS2 sucked, but it definitely didn't quite hit the mark they were looking for. But on the bright sight, it *did* inspire a lot of Elden Ring. The creators said they thought of ER as a sort of Dark Souls 2 2.

As much as I'd like it to return, I'm told that the sales numbers for 3 were abysmal.

That's because they had concluded the story in Two games. The third game was a forced attempt to make a trilogy, but the story was over.

@@lonesurvivor8828 the 2nd one didn't really end anything. And there were some stuff left unanswered, like the Pure Chimera and where the Grey Tech came from. Also it doesn't matter if the story is over, remake, reboot or just an entirely new story, that's what they did with Gears of War

Coincidentally just started playing Retribution today via PS+ (after finishing trilogy last year)

@@eddmario There's rare exceptions, but let's face it, the majority of live action stuff fails miserably when it comes to capturing anything but the character names from the source. In a related note, apparently a Borderland's live action movie is in the works, and frankly the preview stuff so far seems rather bad.

The sheer amount of fan pressure for a new Ape Escape is overwhelming. If they did a MGSV with an open world and missions that altered time it would sell gangbusters.

I'm surprised to see someone mentioned about Parasite Eve in this Video. Well, as a long time PE Fans, of course I really hope there will be a continuation of Parasite Eve. And I'm still optimistic about that, since at around 2018, SquareEnix Europe bought back the rights to Parasite Eve. Let's hope someday, we can get a new PE.

Twisted Metal was produced for Peacock, but because that service doesn't exist outside of north america, they just made a deal with paramount+ for the rest of the World.

I feel ya man, so many great games on the PSP . I can play my PSP games on my computer now but its just not the same, ya know.

@@RevRaptor898 I genuinely remember being excited to try Indie games on the PSP because they were so unique. The PSOne Emulation was horrible though you really needed those L2/R2 Shoulder buttons... 😂

Gravity Rush was not on PSP, but yeah, PSP was great.

Those did not met Sony's criteria of open world game with nonsensical collectibles, muh realistic shiny graphics and Hollywood style of dragged story telling.

Sony had a very strong formula with all those games. Crash, Spyro, Sly, Jak & Ratchet all had stellar trilogies, then got beaten to death with diminishing sequels before being unceremoniously buried in a shallow grave. Which only Ratchet avoided barely

A) They've retconned it so that Sweet Tooth is the name of Kane's clown persona. B) It's not like Outlaw or Roadkill where every entry the vehicle has a different driver; it's always the same guy, and therefore not a terribly relevant distinction.

The fact that you mentioned Dark Cloud was cool, but remembering Okage is ultra cool. I loved that game, even though I swear it deleted my save weekly.

emulators are a thing. with an emulator you could likely play it at a higher fps, 4k, and anti aliasing. EDIT: ps4 emulators aren't that good yet :(. but, it's getting there.

There were a lot of rumours about a Blooborne 2 and I personally think it was going to happen until Miyazaki and Sony's relationship soured due to how the Demon's Souls Remake was handled.

Wipeout yeah Pure/Pulse on PSP or PS2 also Pulse was for, to HD on PS3, HD Fury DLC, 2048 on Vita, Omega collection of HD, HD Fury and 2048 on PS4. then Rush the mobile game that flopped. Polyphony hasn't mentioned TT in years. Rise is fine even Ride 4 improves Forza Motorsport 1&2's region system idea. Ride 2 even had Forza Motorsport 6 style cutscenes. Other bike games exist but TT has a certain style and feel to it. Ride 4/MotoGP games have gone too pro and too unplayable to me. Milestone just made things worse but their old bike or car games were better in experimental ideas or play ability XD GT7 style Tourist Trophy would just disappoint me if it's campaign is like the cafe and level gating or roulette things I find of GT5/Forza Motorsport 6 compared to GT7 just aren't for me. A better bike game yes but their current design I don't really care for it. Drive club it's rain/weather effects are still good but it's like 1/3 the content nowadays. No idea if VR is the definitive edition I own both just never checked. The ideas in it were very interesting for the time and other games that tried to do varied modes. I think dropping the amount of racing titles was a bad idea but AI can see why. Even though GT games cost way too much even besides the delays of GT5 or cost of Last Guardian.

How are the rights unclear though, i don’t understand?

It really was way better than it had any right to be- the weird “people can only die to certain attacks” mechanic was very unique too

A very fun game! Me and my friends will get to beget and play locally sometimes.

At the very least a PS4/5 port so I could play it without unpacking my PS3 (I do have it on vita but I want to see and hear its glory on a big screen). But yeah I’d love a sequel too; bring in the old characters but add just as many new characters as well (Jin Sakai, Dad Kratos, and Aloy come to my mind right away. Lara Croft definitely should have been included originally, but I wouldn’t mind the reboot version)

Dark Cloud, White Knight Chronicles, such Level 5 collaborations that are underrated. At least Ni No Kubo got more support I guess. Or many Professor Layton games.

While the AI does annoy me a lot in Modnation the customisation was cool and the tracks /editor was fairly well designed the humour in the PS3/PSP one are great, Vita just got a pretty safe sequel I think. I own both. LBP Karting same there customisation was fair, some.tracks had the change on lap 3 which was nice. More adapting tracks would be cool. But people want character then those elements. Mario Kart for the characters likely and it's craziness. Who cares for a Double Dash or DS mission mode I guess. The aspects of those entries are why I prefer those. Otherwise any other kart racer, arcade, sci fi ship based or sim racer any day. Infamous Second Son/First Light were fair I have yet to play Infamous 1 and buy 2 physical. Still good fun. Unit 13, MAG, Warhawk, SOCOM. Poor Zipper, Studio Liverpool and Guerrilla Cambridge (Killzone Mercenary, Rigs the PSVR mech game, LBP PSP, Primal on PS2, 24 the game on PS2). Primal/Mark of Kri hmm.

Facts, that and Resistanse They should release the main games on one hand and on the other their respective multiplayers as GaaS so one doesn't cripple the other
