If you're a college student my tip is make a big pot of a simple meal (like wholegrain pasta with tuna, spinach, spices, tomatoes, onion and any other veggies you have) and fridge or freezer it in tubs. When you're hungry take a bit out, reheat it over the fire, instead of snaking on junk. And if you mass-buy fruits, it'll be cheaper. Just freeze them and they'll last you a long time.
SAME. I wanna eat healthy but all these vegan recipes take to long or so much prep when I'm used to just grabbing a bag of chips and putting in 0 effort.
Well, I tried the Pad Thai Ramen noodles, and... IT WAS BOMB!! I added a little less of the oil because I personally don't really like oil too much. Anyways, I garnished it with crushed peanuts and the green onions. IT WAS JUST SOOOO GOOD! I never thought making Pad Thai could be that easy. The best part was that I didn't even need to go out and buy the stuff. I just had the ingredients lying around in my kitchen. So, thanks for the awesome recipe. IT WAS BOMB!! *nuclear explosion sound effect* :)
I love the originality of Andrea videos !! Me and my friend always talk about how she's an OG youtuber !! She can be creative and get tons of views .. That's rare on RU-vid now lol
Also : -Potatoes are super underrated, they are filling and full of energy and they can be cooked in a million ways! -Rice is great too, instead of pasta and ramen. It has actual nutritional value and it's great as a side dish, in a salad and as a dish on its own if you throw in veggies (and meat if you want) and a sauce. I like to add soy//yakisoba sauce, mushrooms, corn, garlic powde, cumin, curry, paprika, pepper, maybe some chicken and scramble a couple of eggs in there and boom, complete meal!
I have always and still appreciate your clever witty ideas and most importantly the fact that you use no incredibly long intro/the whole "hey guys so today" *gag*
Try unrolling the cinnamon buns before you cook them and cut it into strips. Lay the strips (in like an X shape) in a cupcake tin then put the apple pie filling inside. Apple pie cups. You're welcome. (Put vanilla ice cream on top)
i just wanna say that i love how open you are to everyone's lifestyles. you understand that even though you are a vegetarian that doesnt mean that everyone is and i love how your recipes reflect that. i know youtubers who are very set in their ways and refuse to tolerate people who live differently from them so this video was super refreshing to watch.
+ImJustJess omg I just realized that, and I love it! I hate how at some point there were like a million people doing "how to make a DIY eos" or something, and it's so annoying, cuz we've seen it so many times. I also hate how there are girls still making "10 Beauty Hacks you need to Know!" and they're literally showing all of these hacks we've seen a million times that are so unoriginal.
Oh praise! These recipes are going to slayyyyy my food struggles. I'm a teacher and we only get 15-20 min to eat, so these will be perfect for that trifecta of tired, hungry, and broke! All my teachers out there, I know you feel this! Thanks, Andrea!
I actually love mama noodles bc they come with thr oil, a chilli packet n the sauce. i just look it like normal n just throw in frozen veggies, mushrooms n cooked shrimp n sometimes but not all the time an egg. n lately I just but soya sauce n franks hotsauce... omg its soo bomb. takes seriously 10mins. and it will fill you up!!
Avocado and ramen are AMAZING together! When I was in college, ramen was $0.10, and we had an avocado tree in the courtyard where we lived, so those were free! I would just slice the avo and eat the ramen, so good together!
I tried the top ramen. i find that adding some diced peppers adds a bit of a crunch, and strangely, pickles and apples. Vegetarian choices. Much healthier than cup noodles w4/7
For those of you saying the mac and cheeses isn't good to make it more authentic melt some butter add half of that amount in flour give it a stir and pop it back in the microwave for 20 second stir and then another 20 seconds then add 3 times the amount of butter you use in milk stir it up then pop it back in the microwave in 20-30 second intervals pop it out stir and pop it back in continue to do this till it is thick to test if it thick enough stick a spoon in it and run your finger along the back of the spoon if the line stays its good, add some salt and pepper and give it a taste if it still tastes floury put it back in the microwave, the add some cheese stir it up then stick it back in the microwave for 20 seconds or until the cheese is melted then mix it in with your noodles. It sounds like a lot of work, but if you want an authentic tasting mac and cheese this is the way to do it. Hope this was helpful :)
Are you talking about the chicken ramen? She didn't use the seasoning pack. Which I thought was an awesome idea cause I miss ramen but most store bought have animal products in the seasoning packs.
Island Gyal lol because there's different strokes for different folks just cause she doesn't like it doesn't mean other people are not gonna like it i mean come on i mean people have their own likings
I do different ramen recipes all the time, and usually I add whatever I have that I wanna use up. Sometimes I also get those really cheap asian dry soup packs that you just add water to and I put the ramen in itto make it more filling. If I have any leftover type of meat I throw it in there and also mushrooms, corn and thinly sliced carrots/cabbage/zuccini/ whatever. You can do so many variations and it's really cheap and easy!
I notice very rarely youtubers with 1.5 million subscribers and over comment or reply back to their subscribers.... Not even one reply, it's irritating because where would they be without the ones supporting them??? Watching their videos, liking, sharing and etc... I know some youtubers still do it and for that I'm SOOO grateful for the ones who haven't let the popularity go to their heads....
+Vikramjit Rana I never said that.... I said even just a handful of people to reply to... it's not hard to reply to 5-10 people. I've seen some you tubers with 2+ million subscribers who comment a select few subscribers....
+Caroline :D They do have the time, Kalel, Andrea, and some others I'm subscribed to comment all the time to maybe 5-10 as soon as they update. The comments go straight through to their phone so they know when they get a new comment
Okay. These were seriously so amazing! The video itself was done so beautifully and your recipes were different then what ever other channel puts out their. Very happy I found this. Thanks!
My go to cheap, quick meal is white rice (i use the single serving cups you cook in the microwave because im lazy) and fried eggs! You can add any toppings or sauces you like on top and voila! Its super filling
+Karla Quezada parmesan cheese contains rennet which is scrapings from inside a baby cows stomach, therefore it is not vegetarian as it contains meat from an animal.
Omg!! I love these videos! Please more!!! I'm a busy mom that works 3 jobs it's like I never have time to cook! My 4 year old daughter would love this ! Thank you !
I'm actually not moving into a dorm when I start school online but I will be moving in with roommates in a room where it has another room attached that I will be using as a living area. This will definitely help me out a lot when I move and not rely on just soups and rice.👌
