Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United and Real Madrid? Pavel Nedved at Lazio and Juventus? Johan Cruyff at Ajax and Barcelona?
In this video, HITC Sevens looks at a handful of footballers who could make excellent cases for the rare distinction of being the greatest player of all time for multiple football clubs.

Jackie Milburn started Newcastle's love affair with number 9s and won trophies with the club (which is surely a factor), and there must surely be someone long forgotten about who deserves a shout as Newcastle's GOAT from when they won 3 leagues and an FA cup in 5 seasons. Blackburn... he might be one of, if not THE greatest to play for Blackburn, but he was only there for a short period of time, and neither holds any major club records (individual season or otherwise), nor was he there during their most successful period.

Stanley Matthews was only human and didn't always fare well against defenders who were faster. The reason we are still talking about him is that he adapted his game to cope with this. His method for dealing with faster opponents was to focus on acceleration rather than outright speed. Trying to dispossess him was therefore reduced to a matter of timing and given Matthews experience didn't come with a very high success rate. Sliding tackles especially were a waste of time. His long career seems to point to this being a successful tactic. You are less likely to be injured if your opponent can't actually get near you.

Day 11: A detailed look at the state of Crotone would be nice, going from Serie A in 20/21 with a 20 goal a season striker (Simy) to Serie C by 22/23. Two relegations in a row, something surely has to be wrong at that club.

Ronaldo is the Greatest example of all. Besides Winning all domestic competitions ( and in 2 of them win all UEFA competions and FIFA World Teams CUP)was also the Golden Boot of those countries that he represented. He played on the 3 most important and Successfull Football Leagues in the World, and "Market" his name in Gold. Ronaldo was the King of The Premier league,La Liga and the Italian Seria A. Only one player in the World was capable of achieving such "Status". And some people still doubt abaut Ronaldo being the Football Only and Real Phenomenon. I know that what Ronaldo Achieved/ still achieving its very hard to Grasp to some people, because the sheer Dimension of His name as a Global Icon surpass any Sportsman achievements Before or since. He's name is a Beacon of Hope for any kid around the World that loves Football. He's Winning Spirit and Sheer Willpower as no Paralell in sports History. PS: You dont put Ronaldo in front of George Best in Man United just because you are Bias, because you for sure know what Sir Alex Ferguson Said abaut Ronaldo on the season 2007/2008 when he Beat all the Records of George Best in Man United, and many Records of Man United that lasted for many, many years but Ronaldo was able "Crushed" them. And He did the same in Madrid and also in Big Fashion, Ronaldo's Fashion, where during 9 years and 538 games he scored 550 goals, became the only player in La Liga history to surpass 1 goal per game,a ratio of 1.03. Messi in 18 years in la liga only achieved 0.91 goals per game. Ronaldo besides Winning All ( Again) completely Destroyed the Competition. This "small" detail ( among many, many others) just shows the Greatness of this Man. PS: Its obvious by your comments that you are a Ronaldo "hatter"... You know my friend,Envy and Jealousy are a Big Bitch,Deal with That.
