Immortals Fenyx Rising is a game i randomly tried and fell in love with. Loved it all the way through. Some of the Vaults can be really annoying, but overall the game is tons of fun. I highly recommend trying it. Tunic is awesome, but not for everyone. It's really hard in certain places, and cryptic as hell, but when you solve something that you've been stuck on and make progress, it's highly satisfying.

Great video and wonderful to see the appreciation for TUNIC, which ended up quickly becoming one of my all time favourite games. Thanks for sharing!

Love Immortals Fenyx Rising, more the 320hrs into it. After beating the game, it was It was fun just roaming around and taking on enemies. Love that the experience kept getting extended with DLC and side quests as well. Would love to see DLC and new quests for the expansive ToTK world.

Deaths door is extremely good, i highly recommend it

Hyper light and tunic have some very similar vibes - not knowing the language, or where to go, finding hidden paths, and a huge meta puzzle - I’ve never finished either but don’t regret any of my time spent with either.

There’s a VR game called “Journey of the Gods”, that’s very Zelda-like.

I know it’s super old now, and also more similar at least combat wise to the old god of war games, but the first and second Darksiders games were very much like Zelda as well, more so the first one.

I feel like I should of added more info , when I mentioned Ocean horn, as it heavily resembles The Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker, I know there's a demo of it on Nintendo e-shop.

Cult of the lamb felt like a 2d zelda for me

Immortals Fenyx Rising was amazing. Randomly gave it a try and fell in love. Some aspects of it i love more than Zelda.

Nothing about the vibe, tone, gameplay, subject matter, setting, or themes of outer wilds feel like Zelda to me. It feels very different to play both mechanically and emotionally.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising is SO good. Loved the story, the gameplay, the puzzles, the combat mechanics, and even the voice acting. Really fun and addictive

Play outer wilds blind, there's nothing like it and you can only experience it once

As a huge Zelda fan, i mostly agree with this list, nice job! Tunic, Outer Wilds were fantastic, Death Door's combat threw me off, Hyper Light Drifter is too stylized for me, Nobody saves the world is on my list :D

Blossom tales 1 and 2 are like old school zeldas too, i also got arietta , ocean s heart, baldo which is now patched up and got a lotta content, oceanhorn 1 and 2 are indeed pretty much like old zelda for the 1 and like botw for the 2, i loved em both. Turnip boy, ittle 2, anodyne,evoland...those are on my backlog,so i dunno yet if they re good, but i got em bc i saw em in some videos about zelda-like games....i hope they re good...

Zelda 2D :moonlighter, Titan Souls

The one about the crow (Death’s Door) is the least similar of them all, but this was a great video in any case.

Really couldn't get into Death's Door, something just felt off about it but that might be because of the games I played immediately beforehand. Hyper Light Drifter was one of those games. I love the aesthetics and gameplay. Immortals is great, it gets touted as a poor man's BotW but I think it did some things better than BotW. The dlc is great too and both can often be picked up for the price of an indie game. I would say it's a shame the sequel had a style change then got cancelled but "games need to get used to not owning teir games". I've not played Nobody... yet but it is on my wishlist as Guacamelee was incredible. I've got the sequel in my backlog so might have to get on that after I finish Unsighted. Not played Outer Wilds either but it's also on my wishlist. Tunic is incredible, it starts off feeling like a Zelda clone with the difficulty ramped up but soon shows it has its own flavour. The design is awesome too, quite a few times I thoroughly explored an area then ended coming back out into it later from an entrance I somehow hadn't found. Tunic was the other game I played before Deaths Door. Not played Eldin Ring yet either as I have a feeling it'll get a port to the next Nintendo console. I recommend Lila's Sky Ark, Anodyne, and The Swords of Ditto which are like top down Zeldas, Elliot Quest and Phoenotopia which are like Zelda II, and I second Hob. Out of those I would say Phoenotopia is the best and unfortunately the most under appreciated.

Oceanhorn and Hob are both GREAT Zelda type games. i heard the Darkstalkers games are very Zelda. and the Blossom Tales games too.

Outer Wilds might be my favorite game ever, but I was startled to find it in a "Games Like Zelda" list. Perhaps Majora's Mask (for obvious reasons for those who have played both) but I'd say it takes more inspiration from adventure games of old such as Myst, especially with zero combat inside. There is a sense of "I solved the puzzle!" at times, but with zero combat (not to mention zero bosses), nonlinear progression, and first person, I personally classify these games in different categories. But hey, whatever it takes to get more people to play Outer Wilds 😆Maybe I should just hush up.

3d dot game heroes, it's like a 3d nes game (that's pretty much the story) as far as i know it's only on the ps3 though, very cool game from from software.

How in the world are you going to talk about Zelda like games without mentioning the original Darksiders? The second one dropped most of its Zelda aspects for Diablo aspects but the first one was incredible. I wasn't even expecting it but when I was running around the overworld and started seeing hook shot platforms... Boom mind blown

Newbies to the world of Zelda who discover the terrible truth of waiting years before immersing themselves in this beautiful world, I'm used to it now since Ocarina of Time, if you want some good advice next time instead of doing a speed run of the game as soon as it comes out, take your time as much as possible! There is also "Hob" which is a good Zelda Like or otherwise for those who are new you can play the old Zelda games which are always better than those who try to copy them.

Elden Ring doesn't have any zelda type dungeons though, does it?

I recommend Elden Ring if you liked Breath of the Wild. Play offline and just explore everything. If you level Vigor to 40 first its not that hard.

My list: Ys Viii Lacrimosa of Dana 10/10 Kena Bridge of Spirits 9/10 Immortals Fenyx Rising 8/10 . Ys Viii Lacrimosa is like the Zelda games before Breath except you play as a group and there is much more story. Like Zelda games new items unlocks new areas, and the combat is real time and the game is really fun and polished. 10/10 score answers two questions, is the game LIKE Zelda games and is it fun. . Kena Bridge of Spirits is by a small group who are huge fans of the Zelda games and like Zelda games it is a Fantasy-Action-Adventure game. In one sense this game is better than Zelda, the graphics will blow you away, please Nintendo make the the next Zelda game looking like Kena. It is short game and it is challenging therefore right now I am stuck and school started so I forgot how to play it. . Immortals Fenyx Rising IS inspired by Breath of the Wild made by the Assassins Creed developers.

Deaths door is in my opinion the best action rpg and far superior to tunic in every way. The world is more charming, story more griping, level design and combat better, the visuals and audio is more beautiful and overal just a great time. Tunic was very dissapointing coming of death's door and that's because it just felt bad to play, especially the combat. Tunic does have some good mystery but nothing like outer wilds, which is both the best mystery game and the outright best game ever made. It's a masterpiece 10/10 perfect game and there's nothing else like it. Hyper light drifter is also quite amazing, especially in story and meaning, given the lead designer's health condition. Hob is also great, the level design is epic!
