Thank you! A lot of great information here! So, speaking of old iPhones, I recently upgraded from my old 5S. My 88 year old mom jokingly said she wanted an iPhone for the camera. Well, she is now the proud owner of the old 5S and is having a blast with it! She has gotten some great photos😎

Wow! Thank you so much for teaching such a gem of ideas regarding iPhone photography absolutely free. I have learned 30 minutes what I haven’t in last 365 days. Thank you.
I bought both the iphone academy to learn to take photos correctly but also the edit course classes. I am so pleased with your teachings. As a senior citizen I have been able to follow along and take notes to take along. I am so happy to say your courses are brilliant for everyone. We pay so much for these phones that it is only a small price to pay to learn to get the most out of them. Thank You do much! Please keep your teaching style the same..unhurried but precise.
An amazingly informative video!! My favorite tip was the headphone tip but every one of them will improve my iPhone photos immensely! Thank you SO much for sharing your wonderful knowledge of photography!!

I know he’s talking specifically about photos here, but I think he should have also covered 4K video. It makes your videos so much sharper and smoother. You have to go to camera settings to actually turn it on.
Aw my gosh I wish i found this years ago, I take thousands of photos yearly as i have a huge lve for photography and have gone through so much frustration an sadness cus I havnt been able to capture wat I see through my eyes or capture how my photography eye wants the photo to turn out and from time to time feel low cus I can’t afford the good quality cameras and lenses, I can’t thank you enough for sharing and doin these vids. Taking pics now with my iPhone from these small hidden tips are goin to make me so much happier and now can truely relax and enjoy the space I go into when photographing 🤩🙌👌😀✌️

Thank you!!!!! Learned a lot with this 1 video. I been taking burst photos by accident. Now I actually know how to use it. Love being able to take photos with my headphones!! 👍
This is an amazing tutorial for mobile photography. Thankyou so much for defining basic ideas so simply. It was a very good experience to learn through examples.
Thank you Emil for this wonderful information on how to take really great pictures with our Iphones. I especially liked the part on using the head set. Very, very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent presentation. I hope that you informed the photographer that you took a photo without him knowing. I think ethically they should give their permission before publishing their photos.
i learnt basic photography years ago and shot weddings but this video was very helpful in motivating me to use my iPhone more thanks for the free tips i hope you can do some more for us poor pensioner types with a smartphone ill definitely hit the subscribed button

Those tips were excellent! Thanks. I tried them all out on my iPhone 6. But, the best part is that all but the last tip also work on my HTC U11, with its super camera! * By the way the HTC U11has the edge motion that activates the camera just by squeezing the sides and shutter release can also be programed for a squeeze. Of course you can just say "cheese" and the camera will shoot the pic or set it to shoot once the subject smiles.
I didn't know about the volume buttons, and being able to use the headphones as a remote. That is a very useful feature. Subbed so I can learn more tricks. Still using an iPhone 5s that's been dropped 100 times :)
Thank you so much, Emil! Your videos are really helpful and informative! I’ve just learned more about my iPhone from you in less than an hour than in several years while using it. Incredible! It’s like I’ve had a Ferrari all this time but have been going 30 km/hr 😂

Thanks, what an incredibly helpful video. I can't wait to take some more photos now that I know what I'm doing. I've only ever used burst mode by accident up to now!
Wow, absolutely love the headphone trick. I have never liked staged pics. This will be useful when family gets together. Or Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Thank u so much for that one and of course all the videos I have been watching. O, ur voice is soothing especially will all the chaos n drama in the world right now.
Awesome. I've had my iphone 7 for a few years now and not taken advantage of what the camera can do. Thanks. Really helpful, especially the headphone hack.
Glad you found the tips helpful! There will be lots more to learn inside the course! Here's the link to get iPhone Photo Academy at a HUGE discount: iphone.to/ipa-j
Superb hints & tips. They are so helpful. I wish I had known about these years ago. I wonder how you use the headphone technique with an iPhone 8 with no headphone jack. There must be a way with earbuds but I haven't got any yet to test it out. Love the swipe left trick as well.
I truly appreciate your video. I love it! I have an iPhone 11 pro and when you showed the HDR part, that was not in my settings. Could you tell me how to do that? DO you do a product photo class?
The HDR settings have changed on the newer iPhone models, you will now see the Smart HDR setting and we recommend to keep than enabled. We don't have a class specifically on product photography, but the iPhone Photo Academy course will cover the fundamentals of iPhone photography so you can take great photos in all scenarios! :) Here's the link to learn more - iphone.to/ipa-r

Great video I learned a lot. I like that we can take a picture with the headphones, but just my lock my volume button on my head phones is not working. :0(
You also can get an iPhone tripod with a Bluetooth shutter remote on Amazon starting about $10 for both. The remote is great for getting in the shot yourself or just being away from the camera.
Yep. I got one some years ago with a camera mount, tripod (little and regular), carry bag, and all sorts of goodies for about 12 bucks. just make sure to order spare remote batteries to have on hand:)
