A lot of men (and women) have expirience with manipulation in relationships (but also other places like in their workingplace, family etc.). So yes, I am one of those men, who is watching his content and I am also sending this to my male friends. So if women are saying, that men are annoying we at least understand what you mean :-D But what I would love more than a flirt is authenticity, which is totally missing if you just copy his lines... So, I don't want to be tricked into believing that somebody has a charakter and that is why I am interested in his content.
I sent a picture of the seat next to me on my couch to Dominos pizza and said 'I saved this seat for you, where are you?' and a pizza showed up at my door. It really works lol
As I guy, I cannot say I would recommend the first "You are so annoying" text. It can work in person or on a phone call, but in text format, where you have no body language or tone of voice to add context to the line, there is no way to know if that was sent as a joke or not. It is just asking to create missunderstandings.
I think it depends on what kind of relationship you´re having - if you already know each other quite well/ or are already dating then its totally fine ( but of course it always depends on the personality of a person as well )
ManSecretObsession5.blogspot.com is a feel good book and I suggest any woman disappointed with dating and wanting to make some simple changes to acquire this book. In case you are not satisfied with your life...YOU can change it out! This book must give you a good start. I was able to attain happiness and also attracted my dream guy! It is not the most efficient method to make each and every guy like you!?
For all those busy ppl out there ❤️ 1. Ur so annoying - because your one of the main ppl in my life making staying at home so annoying rn 2. This shirt would look rly hot on u 3. It’s probably a good thing you and I can’t see each other rn .. I have a feeling you and I would be trouble 4. Take a picture of a sofa and say I saved this seat for you, where are you 5. thinking of you... , miss you...., etc say back, ‘well duh’ 6. After watching a scary movie say ‘ I just watched ‘movie title’ I need a cuddle .. 7. If someone compliments you, say: my roommate is asking why I’m blushing ☺️😳
This is so funny! Especially the first, third and fourth just fit so well under the "to all the busy people" title! It shows you so genuinely frustrated, it's weirdly amusing.
Matthew I just used your texting techniques to address a breadcrumber who I was in a longterm relationship with a few years ago. I can't even thank you enough for your videos!!!!! I'm confident but I was lacking some competence and now I'm learning thanks to you ❤❤❤ now he's on the back foot and I feel like I claimed my self respect. It feels Amazing 🤩🤩🤩
Of all the guys offering dating advice on the internet, isn't Matthew the best? Not only is he cute AF, and has that adorable British accent, the arms and the smile, but his videos are better too! I especially liked the Twilight Zone themed one. Matthew, thanks for sharing your insight with us. It's been a blast!
thank you for making a video on this. Please do more long-distance videos regarding breakup, value, being taken for granted and respect as well! Much appreciated
This was recommended to me. Nothing against matthew... but flirting/online-dating in a pandemic is selftorture. You won't get, what you want for a while... and if it is connection, that you want, remember your family and friends. It is time. Flirting is a game that sparkles desire inside the other person and unfullfilled desire is terrible. Covid19 might endanger your physical health, but at least your mental health should be save, so do something, that actual makes you happy. I decided to learn the double bass because this makes me happy and I keep in touch with my people that I have instead of looking for other new people. Ofc it is a different story, if the connection is either established, or your family and friends are no good.
I know a great man in Africa who helped me bring back my ex husband who left me more than 3 years ago, we got married, we have three children, now my husband is back to me together(+234)7086757686.....
Omgggg I love this video, it’s great for just building confidence and learning how to be more playful which our American culture needs soooo badly! I remember watching his old video by Matthew saying something about be a dolphin because they’re fun! I hope you create a series off this video Matthew. Wishing you all the best and success for your career. You’re such an amazing coach! 🎉🎉🎉
Anyone else feel like it's a potential waste of time to try dating right now? I texted back and forth with a guy for nearly 2 weeks, video call, etc and then cut him off. I realized he wasn't investing by trying to learn more about me at all. I'm not there to keep you company while you're lonely and bored! What percentage of these guys even plan on meeting when this is over? I think I'm over online dating anyway, feels like a gigantic STD pool of players, emotionally unavailable guys and incredibly ugly hairy men lol
Katie Fleming if you’re in the US you just need a foreign guy outside the US. They’re waaay better than all the American types. I’ve had a few foreign boyfriends I won’t go back to American men ever 👎🏻😂 but it means you might have to travel to see him it’s a win win! 💕💁♀️
@@KatErina-ii6ru I'm in Canada actually! (Living in Montreal, it is terrible for dating all the rumours are true) No one wants to get married anymore much less even be in a committed relationship. I've done online dating, nearly 10 speed dating events...it's just not happening
I understand that online dating is challenging right now and yes, there will be many time wasters who just want some company in this time. I do think that before this happened, you could still find these types of guys in real life anyway. My own experience is that a guy is showing more if he is truly interested and worth investing in, not by how well the "chemistry" is on a date, but how he actually is when you don't meet him. Ask good questions, demand proper online dates(I had one where the guy was watching a TV series at the same time as face chatting with him. He told and thought that was ok. I was not impressed. When he wanted to see me again, I suggested he could come up with something more creative on face chat, he suggested to pick things up after lock down. I knew enough and said next.) Good guys are everywhere and not ready guys too. You just need to learn how to weed them out faster. All that said, I do agree, spend your time picking up a hobby long forgotten, learn a new language, things that will make you feel good and grow is probably a better use of time and you will become even a more interesting person ;)
Matthew Hussey..the most valuable person in my life..I m devoted to your emotional intelligence nd ur valuable advice.. Matthew Hussey..u r my favourite person in the world coz u say the right thing nd u do the right thing..
These are texts are very good, thank you. I would like to ask you (suggest) 2 topics for videos: 1- How to reactivate a contact with a guy you're interested in (like we out with him months a go)/ 2 - How to find and keep to talking with new guys online (dating apps, social media, etc). Thank you again Mathew, your work is amazing (from Bazil).
I unintentionally misrepresented myself to a man I was really into. I became very enthusiastic and so was he, it all seemed amazing actually. Then out of the blue, after we were speaking every day for just under a month, he went cold. I feel embarrassed and frustrated because my behavior was out of character and due to intense excitement. I really felt something unique with him... now what?
Just recently I had this writers' chat, where a person I like was asked: "how was it working with him from the publisher's perspective?" and he replied with "I'm very intense, I'm sure she'll say". That was such a confident and suggestive thing to reply with. It stuck with me. And then I got a question about my favorite "final twist" situation in thrillers, and I replied with a scenario of an "inherited malice" kind of situation, when a bad guy is caught, but his example was strongly impressed upon a victim, who survived or their significant other; or the bad guy had a son/daughter, who then naturally has an incline to the same thing their family member was obsessed with and they become possessed with their evil spirit so to say. Last thing I mentioned, that this was hypnotizing to me, and that I thought it to be a very good cliffhanger/opening for a sequel. And you know what happened? This attractive other author turned his attention to me. And I instantly saw our most suggestive phrases mash together and create a scene, that is not so much PG13. Just imagine: He says: I'm very intense, I'm sure she'll say. I say: this is hypnotizing to me. This scene all in itself is a very good cliffhanger/opening for a dimly set and deep voice narrated sequel. Because sometimes you read someone's message and they've chosen specific words to condition you, open up your imagination, streaming it into what they want from you. And you can tell by the use of their words, that they are imaginative, suggestive, and natural in creating interest through words - they are a writer. It's really specific people, who will choose words like: intense and hypnotizing instead of similar but different words like attentive and exciting. It brings me to a conclusion: don't be afraid to be suggestive, let your attraction flow through a subliminal message within your text. Sometimes it's not so subliminal, though. Like that one time recently in writers' chat, when I wrote: "it seems like Lady D (Dalisa) got inspired to whiplash the freak out of everyone out there, who thinks that this scary time is their prime time to break out and shine. Ouch!" And everyone was like: what is this BDSM situation you've got us in on right now? 😂 Because the subliminal message stood out so much! But believe me you can make it subtle and still condition your love interest to see beyond surface and into your imagination at the moment.
@@SDsc0rch Found the one that thinks planning and setting up whole conversations in their head for a specific outcome is genuine flirting. Oh wait, no, that is this whole channel. ^^ Nothing genuine about any of this anyway.
@@psychwolf7590 Going by a playbook is kind of playboy or pick-up artist stuff. And here I thought these women don't want that. A lot of these examples can go very wrong depending on the person they are aimed at. But hey, they are "irresistible", so how could anything go wrong?
@@shenlong3879 You need to go by situation rather than playbook, although these examples do share some similarities that could give you an idea on which concepts flirting builds.
Try "I blame you" 😘 instead of "you're so annoying." Follow up with "You make staying at home really difficult 💋 Help me think of a way to amuse myself without you..."

I figured he meant out of all the important people in one’s life. Yes, your boyfriend/girlfriend/date might be one of the reasons a lockdown is difficult, but not seeing your family, friends, dog, whatever would be Very high, if not higher, up on that list too.
As a guy, I think you're overthinking it. Extrapolating hard data: yes, laying connections (a→b) based on experience: yes, emotional extrapolation: yeahhh.....no lol. Maybe if he/she's distrustful of you (experience).
@@Tinky1rsits just a bad set up. it may get some girls wondering and curious "one of the main" making her want to be the one and only but having thoughts you may be a player and develop trust issues. Or her playing the game to prove her value and then ditch when she accomplishes it. Its fine if you looking for a hook up. For something serious not a good start but of course be playful. If you play the game alone you end up alone.
@@Imacid47 Mhmm... true and I started my comment from the guy POV, hence the little jab at our emotional 'skills'. Afterwards I added he/she as most girls wouldn't either (unless, again, distrust is already brooding somewhere).
So I’ve met someone and our connection is great, but I’m already sick and tired of texting and video chatting. Wish I could just meet him in person already!
@@maia594 He did! We just had a very nice conversation and he brought it up. Just try to have genuine conversations I guess, and if you don't click with someone, move on to the next one:)
They are not tricks. They are suggestions. Rephrase for success. It doesn't have to be verbatim. If a guy/girl is watching, they are probably invested in having an authentic relationship, too. Bon chance! 💋
Yeah we use the word cuddle or snuggle, but I feel like a rare amount of people are into that. What I’m dying for right now is a slow dance, but I get weird looks when I mention that. Is this one of those things you don’t admit out loud? Or am I really alone in this desire? Btw Matthew that sweater looks amazing on you and makes your shoulders look huge! 🤗
Yo these are so good, thanks Matthew! Would love if you could do a similar video on texts to send to a guy best friend to get him interested in you (without being too forward). If you’ve already made this video and I’ve just missed it, would love to know too! Thanks :)

Omg !!! I don’t think i can ever use anyone of those. 🙈 sounds very scripted and it’s not my style at all. The guy i m talking to , will definitely going to recognize that i am trying too hard 😆
Matt I used what u suggested 🤦♀️ just the one about “ it’s a good thing we can’t meet-up right now “ fairly benign and funny I thought, compared to some of the others... omg back fired is an understatement!!!! Thankfully it’s a guy online that I haven’t met yet or invested too much time in 😂 probably dogged a bullet 💁♀️
@Matthew Hussey Funny story. Someone actually served me the first of your 9 texts recently, after the 1st night of our casual encounter. It creeped me out, as it was a very early, but the fact that we did get along like house on fire face to face saved it and now we’re exploring the slow paced thing 😅 interesting to know that guys do watch your videos and some apply the tricks themselves haha
Perhaps add a little wink emoji to the end of the first one - something to suggest a teasing tone. Otherwise, a lovely idea. I'm self isolating with my husband and two kids right now, but still sending flirty texts every now and then. The kids can't read yet ;)
Oh god this is for girly girls. I need stuff for more quiet, vault type women. I get the point of these but they just seem too.. idk.. girly girl. Does that make sense? LOVE all ur content and that beautiful brain of yours. Thx for ALL your energy ✌
Hahahaha I’ve been wanting to watch Contagion for a few weeks now. I thought there might be some tactics to be learned. Haha. Glad to know I’m not the only one.
Middle school text game on steroids. But when a woman is low key obsessed with you already you can pretty much get away with anything. An average looking dude won’t be able to get away with any of those texts they would get ignored or blocked in a heartbeat
Dating Advice From A Car Salesman I’ve seen ugly-looking dudes with no energy getting away with the laziest behaviour. Cause are women out there who need therapy for their low self-esteem, not a boyfriend, but they don’t know it yet.
Me and my bf just broke up 10 days ago after being together for over a year. Its such a weird situation, I don't know what to make of it. We haven't seen eachother in a month because of the lockdown, he is madly focused on his finals and I guess Im a bit needy. So he chose to break up rather than to stay in contact because "its ridiculous I can't leave him alone to concentrate for 2 weeks". All I asked was to keep in contact over the phone or texts once a week. Some people tell me he just doesn't care enough, some say he cares but it's just the way he is, some say he probably doesn't know how to act properly in relationships because of the physical abuse in childhood. Some think we will make up after the whole stress is over, some think we shouldn't. I don't know. I want to. But he has to want it too. I guess we will see once I go and pick up my stuff from his place and maybe get a chance to talk 😣 Im just baffled, we were at a pretty good place before the whole lockdown happened 😐

How do you say "well duh" in spanish? 🤔 Btw, this quarantine has ruined my already poor love life, but good luck to those who still have someone to flirt with 💜
I'm very sorry for saying this... but I think this is exactly what's wrong with dating nowadays. Why we even should watch a video about "what to respond?" Imagine how many girls now have sent this to someone? How about being genuine and using your own sense of humour and creativity? I've seen so many videos of Matthew teaching us what to say/what not to say, I even read his book out of curiosity, because I don't want to attack someone without even having a deeper look into it... but after a while I noticed that these techniques are pretty much manipulation and tricking guys. Why we would need that? Because we, women, love to change a bad guy into a good guy? The answer is simple here: LET. HIM.GO. If he ghosts you or confused you, or makes you feel mistreated: don't freakin' read books about how to get him. Just leave him be and find someone who reads books about how to treat you right instead. What is this century... ugh. Sorry, Matthew. You seem like a great guy, but it's time you write a book for men and maybe change up your content a bit. Haters; don't eat me alive now, I'm not being mean. Some advice has been good, such as; how women should respect themselves and such, but I think in some videos Matthew has focused too much on putting pressure on women sounding nothing like themselves, because truthfully a woman that respects herself, wouldn't even bother responding to some of the text message examples I've seen, or every true stories. Stay safe everyone! ✌🏻
Thanx and I have boyfriend and he said that killing him that he can't see me right now. We only went two dates and I keep saying to him I'm willing to wait as well not let covid-19 ruin the relationship. I do think you should say that. My boyfriend is worth waiting for as sending me all right signs and I don't why but I'm falling for someone who only met twice and I guess I'm lucky because we actually got to kiss and I think we had a spark. I told him I'm wait and I do think you tell woman to wait if the lad is showing signs if hes worth it. Called my boyfriend because so far he's great boyfriend and making me happy. I do think that covid-19 shouldn't be reason why break up or stop seeing someone. Oh I used that taking photo of sofa and saying you should sitting next to me before. My boyfriend liked it but also felt more annoyed at covid-19. Hopefully even is okay one day me and my boyfriend go and normal relationship. I really like him. I don't know why falling for someone just talking to them. It is possible you don't need alot physical contact for someone to fall in love with you and you to do that same. I really happy and I can't believe takes pedimic for me find decent boyfriend I could shout to the world I HAVE A BOYFRIEND
I had a guy after a week of not talking and blew off a kiss goodnight text me saying I miss you. LOL!!!! I never felt so in power. Were not talking because hes annoying but I told him I didnt want to talk to him.
I personally wouldn't bother to reply if I were sent a message saying "you're so annoying" or "well duh." Been verbally abused by partners enough and therefore trained myself not to react to potential insults or arrogance. I know this advice is meant for playful chats and can do no harm, but there is no content on this channel for people who have had actual traumatizing experiences and wish to establish healthy communication but are too tired of games. It all works based on the presumption that most people are generally well-meaning, but this is not the reality of adult dating. If one's biggest dating problems is getting dumped or dealing with a guy who can't commit, then this is a good place to start. But the channel NEVER tackles serious, scary or uncomfortable issues in relationships so it does not work for anyone who may have faced worse than getting left on read.
