My number 1 obscure tip to growing long healthy hair is to take time for yourself. Most of the time I see people's hair struggle and thin I can normally point to some sort of stressor associated with it, be it an unhappy home or work life or even not having enough sleep. When we don't feel well we tend to keep our hands in our hair and may not even realize that we are raking our hands through it or fidgeting with it. Your hair has a way of letting you know "hey! We need some TLC please," so next time you see more thinning or shedding than usual be real with yourself and ask "am I really giving my body and mind what I need?"
I personally agree with you about the part where you said there is a time and place to uncover your hair. I implement the same exact practices as you do for covering my hair. Like you I also feel like I don’t want everyone’s eyes in my hair. Because I know how beautiful my hair is. And just like other beautiful parts I cover them all as well as my hair. I cover my hair almost all of the time with a silk or satin wrap. And it just feels good to know that I have something that everyone can’t see all the time. By the way you are so beautiful:)
Such a Goddess! If you had a replica Melanin Barbie girl I would buy them up for our daughter's. Love the fact that you've included prayer here. Without God's hand in our lives, nothing is possible. We are His creation, so of course that would include praying over our hair health for it's prosperity. Thanks for blessing us with your Knowledge and Beauty!
So glad to see you back. Missed you. You look gorgeous and your hair is an entity of its own. Your videos got me started on my hair journey 5plus years ago and I must say your tips over the years has helped my hair thrive. My afro is epic these days as I enter year six. Thank you!!!!
I never understood why no matter how often I trimmed my ends it just seems to go bad in a month or two and I don’t like seeing wraggedly ends either …now I know that dusting it more frequently isn’t a problem 😩❤️Thanks Zara
When I put my hair in big twist I make sure to keep my ends oiled. Some people use the baggy method for their ends and say that to keeps their ends more healthy, less tangled and raggy.
@@ellakraneuche5382 Ah that's one of the reasons why, leaving hair loose in shrunken state is the biggest cause of single strand knots for some people. So you have to be aware of that when determining a go to hair style. Maybe try some other styles majority of time and do your puffs less frequently? Like a 70%/30% thing. Or loose and stretched?
What is the grease made of please. My scalp itches alot and it get sore due to that I find it difficult to leave my hair in a protective style. Please help I've try soo many remedies but the problem is still there .

I know one thing what you eat and not get to water takes a toll on your hair oil it's not a moisturizer. And I take biotin and I have just seen it change in my hair regiment so I can't wait to see what it looks like in March

"Affirm, prophesy, 'speak into' your hair; think positively, bc those thoughts... *manifest* and become reality." I saw a comment mentioning incorporation of PRAYER, so I watched through--although it's late. I was hopeful ☺, but wary, bc of the times. I do appreciate this amazing and super-well-rounded advice on wellness in itself--how this leads to healthier, long hair. A lot of what I heard is sooo integral to general vitality, and doesn't go unappreciated. And it won't. 👏 👏 -- I'm only a few videos in, and the caring expertise is such a helpful comfort. -- As for the portion I began with, it more echoes The Secret-Law of Attraction, which although a distracting cultural phenomenon is incongruous (and in many aspects) heretical to *God's* most High singularity, and to the Biblical context, although Scriptures are cherrypicked for grounding legitimacy. God Who is Father Son *and* Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is mentioned, outside of the Trinity. Perhaps bc of the expression, "in the spirit." The Bible, in 1 John 5:7, and multiply evidences this: "there are three Who bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Savior Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. These three are One." Yes. It's more *sacrificial* to adhere to the Testaments, and specifically the Gospel, as they are. But, ultimately the LORD Who gifted them, is beyond worthy of our lives; and Who came far low, to pay our debt of sin with His unblemished goodness. So great if those, like this beautiful and dutiful beloved, who put care into their livelihood--can take a more spiritually and studiously courageous step, learning God's true nature, and HIS indisputable blueprint for life (mortal and eternal), by imbibing the Biblical text and the *historicity* behind it--personally--so that pop-culture authorship and mangled teachings are distinguishable. Metaphysical pseudo-science should also be seriously vetted, although it feels great and feeds our inherent ego as humankind. It all pales woefully to honoring God--as He *says* He is--in humility, and giving over to the awesommeness of His love. The more puffed-up in self, the further from bowing down for forgiveness and the restoration we still require as imperfection creations, to whom grace has been given, for the asking. 🙌 With Salvation through Christ, the believer receives the indwelling of God's actual Holy Spirit, Who, among other blessedness, helps us to resist our natural inclinations to flee from God's ordinances, given out of measureless, Supernatural love and protection. This is a perishable existence. Out of true love, please build up treasures in heaven--spreading the Gospel, while rocking healthy hair! In Christ, Amen. 💕 ✝️ 🙌
I wash my hair with these styles in. But twists, I take down before I wash (so my hair doesn’t loc). I like to go 1-2 weeks (so my scalp is healthy/happy). If I have braids with my natural hair installed, I may go even less than a week. It’s very important to listen to your scalp + hair but note that your scalp is skin, and infrequent cleansing is not always helpful. It may also be harmful for your hair and hydration.
