My best guess was Blink/Rammstein/Kiss but yeah, MCR maybe instead of Blink and I don't think it's out of the realms of possibility that instead of Kiss, we may get Aerosmith again as they are doing their 50th anniversary and final (really final this time) tour next year.

Bring Me The Horizon & Enter Shikari CO Headline is an idea I've had in my head for a few years now.

Green day headlined download Paris in 2017 I do believe

A Day to Remember / Bring Me Co-Headline would be a risk but would love to see it happen. The dream would be Architects but as seen at APE the ticket sales weren't great so I think the combined might of ADTR would be enough to pull the crowds. A band with a longstanding history at Download which crush it every single time, lovely stuff.

I think Queens Of The Stone Age could headline with Royal Blood as the sub!

Foo Fighters have gotta do it some time. Rammstein definitely a likely shout. I'm sure there will be a grandad band one night. Maybe Kiss, maybe ACDC. As for new bands... eh, give it to Ghost. Bring Me can fuck right off now, and parkway or ADTR aren't big enough. Not fussed about Alter Bridge either.

I thought this was an interesting video and you were spot on with Kiss. I think some of the theories you had were interesting and I think better than what was due to happen I liked your idea of the Alter Bridge/5FDP co headliner I am not a huge fan of those two bands but that's the great thing about having other stages but I think having something fresh would be more interesting than the same old same old. I would love to see blink when I'm at download especially before the avalanche stage I would always go and check out an act that was different for example Lethal Bizzle haha, but I think something a bit different with the headline slot would be good. Obviously now they have released the 2021 bands obviously no surprise that some are coming back. You don't have to like Kiss to enjoy a Kiss show and that's fact. This time round I am looking forward to watching Biffy but however gutted about SOAD and now time for my unpopular opinion but I'm sorry they are not a good live band! I love them but there you go however I can party somewhere else. Cheers for uploading!

Realistically, Alter Bridge. Foo Fighters and Van Halen would be a dream though!

New album permitting, ADTR? Would be good to bring them through as a headliner, pretty sure they got a bigger crowd than biffy when they subbed. There’d be a lot of moaners but new headliners needed for the future of the fest

The safe bets would be KISS and Rammstein but not sure about the 3rd(maybe blink 182 and lil Wayne because why not)

My money would be on Rammstein Metallica and kiss. Co headline slots sound like festivals struggling for big bands to headline on their own, I don't think download have that issue. MCR reunion would be more likely to be arenas

I think you’d have a stronger case of a PWD and ADTR co headliner than BMTH. With PWD also doing Bloodstock, depending how that goes could add to headlining pedigree.

So if we're talking a co headline situation I'd like to see Blink and ADTR do it. They've toured together before and are doing for the 20 years of Enema of the State tour which they've mentioned bringing to the UK next summer.. Rammstein and Kiss would make a lot of sense. I don't think My Chem will do it but I would like to believe that's in the realm of possibility.

Would like to see alter bridge given the chance to headline, they’ve built a loyal fan base and have enough records to warrant a shot. Whether they have enough well known songs is a big question mark, but it’s time to start giving new bands a chance as some of the older generation bands start to call it a day

The KISS End Of The Road Tour ends on 19th December 2019. I was lucky enough to see them this Tuesday and I even caught a pick which was badass.

Bury Tomorrow are incredible live, they could bring some of the "Black Flame" songs...

Love Rammstein's live show, but I just never could get into their music. Not an electronic/industrial metal fan. Plus, I don't speak German....that doesn't matter though.

A band who would be incredible headlining as they always get the crowd going and make it a proper party.... Limp bizkit. Would also like to see bands like trivium, lamb of god and korn step up to those bigger slots. As for 2020 I reckon rammstein, bizkit and foo fighters

most interesting bands to headline imo: tool / slipknot/bring me the horizon/mastodon/korn relevant now with new albums on the way ...they have lots of known songs and are at their prime , NOW is the time to put these bands at full potential, the right age to still give a good performance and lots of experience for headlining spots, ...just beneath them baroness

The issue with Bring Me at APE was more the fact that they'd put a primarily heavy and alternative line up on 2 weeks after slam dunk and 2 weeks before download where most people will be spent up on those two festivals, anyone other than metallica would have had the same issue selling tickets in that purgatory between two flagship alternative festivals

If My Chemical Romance were to return they definitely wouldn't headline Download because of the reaction they got last time, whether the festival has changed recently or not. They would headline Reading & Leeds instead. Alter Bridge could definitely be a sole headliner considering they've sold out Wembley twice and are playing the o2 arena for the second tour in a row this December. That's more than previous Download headliners have done before being given the chance to headline to prove their worth. I feel like Bring Me The Horizon are odds on for Reading & Leeds. Also, All Points East were selling really cheap tickets for all the days of the festival. So it's less of a negative point against them and more of something that reflects badly on the festival as a whole than the band themselves. I'm going for Alter Bridge, Rammstein and Metallica.

I think Korn deserve a headline slot

I mean I agree with bring me the horizon could headline but a more reliable band In my opinion with a much bigger Download presence is a day to remember esspically if reading and Leeds go well
