No Contact doesn’t always work, but nothing in life is 100% effective!! It certainly hasn’t worked for me but it is really your best option because begging and/or blowing up the other person’s phone won’t work either. Love hurts!!

Has any one of you guys, who DO want to get back with their ex, ever tried to get in contact first? I think men being silent for 11 months can’t expect their ex to get in touch. I myself am in no contact for 7 months, and by this point i am NOT going to break it first. At the same time i think guys keeping silence is such a turn off… I’m sorry, don’t want to hurt anyones feelings.

Some times god has a better person for you in mind. have an open mind to date and give some one else a chance . remember you are worthy of being with some one that truly loves you and is not that prideful when it comes to loving you. She loved to be with me, she loved to kiss me, she loved sex with me, she loved me. It's just that she somehow told herself we are too different and it will lead to problems in 5 years😢 She is a typical avoidant, and now that I'm giving her the time and space she needs, I hope she realizes how much she misses me.
Same experience its almost like she opened a fortune card and told her we are not compatible. Mine also started finding random flaws to justify the breakup! she didn't communicate any of it
@@Ahicksaf Sounds chockingly familiar. I tried contacting my ex again a few months after the break-up, but she made it very clear she doesn't want any contact. I've moved on now, more than a year later, but I'll never understand what happened to her.

One day, she's like "i miss u, I want to spend the winter with u, i dream of u, you are a real man? i love this and that about u ? The sex is amazing ? but then she goes cold. u ask for explanations she has no idea what to say so she starts saying vague flaws u never even heard of "oh ur not a leader to me " without giving any examples where I lacked leadership. after seeing them so happy with u and being so passionate about u, suddenly "ohhh we are not compatible" and then she feels guilty and tells u something like "u are more real than me" whatever the hell that means lol
The problem for me isn’t that I want to break no contact, it’s more the fact that I’m put in this situation by someone who I love and I know loves me. So even just the thought that I was just thrown away like that brings the tears and the anxiety because I just don’t get whyyy😞

Yeah my partner did that to me after 7 years, no warning, just give your self some space and in stead of asking why they did this, ask your self what this means for moving forward and why this could be good. Would you rather they did this when you had kids and were married? Me and my ex got engaged a few weeks ago and she’s now with someone else I think. I’m devastated and destroyed. I could have ruined my life because we planned to have kids next year. So just step back, take stock of the situation and allow them to carry on. End of the day you need to value yourself and ask your self if this is what you deserve from someone you love. Kick them off their pedestal and allow your self to gain some self worth and give your self some love. Hold your head up and move on. I’m writing this because I’m talking to my self also and reminding my self that this is what I need to also do 😔. We have to be strong

I blocked him on everything. He broke up with me, demanded we be friends, and then left me in the hospital with an infection from a miscarriage. He then ignored my requests not to contact me again saying "eventually" I'll forgive him and we'll be friends again. He was a terrible partner and I would've left him anyway. Stay NC, all of Craig's videos are full of valuable information and have helped me to move on from him and the situation. Use them to do the same, do the work and you'll come out on the other side better off. ❤
On day 1 of no contact :( this is my second break up of the year, I feel so defeated like I’m not meant for anyone even after the first break up I did nearly 6 months of personal growth, started the gym, made new friends, went out more etc and genuinely found someone who was emotionally available until 4 months later I’m here, she left me because she wants to work on herself. :(

Yes! I’m in a similar situation where I feel that my ex wouldn’t reach out if he had interest in getting back together, due to the fact that he already hurt me once, so he won’t want to mess with my feelings again.

He blocked me after I found out why he ghosted me: he started talking to his new girlfriend while he was still with me and I contacted her to get clarity (because I wasn't sure). She confronted him and then he called me all of a sudden and cussed me out and blocked me 🤷🏻♀️ not sure if he will ever wake up and see what he did to me and contact me again, maybe when his "rebound" relationship doesn't work out lol (i do believe in Karma). What if your ex is just ambivalent and hasn’t figured out if they even want a (new) partner, but admits she still has a special connection with you? I rejected to keep in contact with her in this situation, and it made me feel bad but for me that’s the healthiest way until she has figured it all out…it’s hard, but I hope it will turn out well…in one way or another!

The biggest thing my ex is most likely going through is caring for our children on her own, i worked only 3 days a week and had a major role in caring for the children and household duties my ex is also dealing with major depression in relationship to her BPAD and PTSD related to her first marriage that was very abusive both physically and emotionally to the point that even after 20yrs together in a loving relationship she still brought her survivor mentalities into our marriage

My ex used to always block me after every small fight and then would unblock me . With time I started feeling anxious because of this and always used to go around the block and convince him to get back together . He always did usually after 2-3 days . He used to say mean things during fight and after resolving it , he said those things didn't mean anything so i believed him . This time also he blocked me after telling me he is breaking up with me , as usual i tried to get around the block and tried to convince him for 9 days after breakup but nothing worked . Now I am in NC for 23 days and I really don't know if he will come back or not . He also told me he is attracted to someone else , but I am not sure if that is true or not ..

I say YES - from experience. I’ve been the dumper and I’ve needed time and space to heal and process things as it was painful for me too, and also not to give false hope to the person I broke up with since I knew they wanted to stay in the relationship. But even if I didn’t contact them I was thinking about them a lot and felt the pain of being apart, but I respected them enough to ‘let go’ by not reaching out and let them have that time and energy to find the love they deserve

After 20 years apart and being “friends” from her point of view my ex wife and I spent almost every day together from March through June, even spent the night together 5x, but after I got jealous of her going somewhere with her “best guy friend” she said that all she could offer was friendship. Stay no contact, when it doesn’t work out with this guy friend she will be back! Put yourself in her shoes, if you had a female friend you were getting close to, you wouldn’t want her around! But trust me, when it doesn’t work out! She will be back and that’s where you make her work for it and act a cool cat like you were never bothered in the first place

The problem is we were in an LDR set up and not seeing each other for more than 2 yrs now due to pandemic. I dont know if attachment will work on that as well. We broke up like weeks ago.

Maybe temporarily block her until you know you're healed and ok with friendship if you want it at that time, but I wouldn't be friends with any ex of mine. It's messy for the heart.

Tried reconciling with my ex, long story short… he was still “so hurt” from me breaking up with him in the first place. Dude had neglected me and my experience with the relationship for years. Full stop I was done. I will never attempt to work on getting back with an ex again; leave your exs alone and I recommend individualized counseling after a break up. If you broke up there is a huge reason for it. Stop ignoring your own values for somebody who didn’t care about the relationship while you were together. There are 8 billion people on earth.

No, give him and yourself space! It felt awful when my ex broke up with me but I feel great that I didn't reach out. They know that you care about them. If he want to have you in your life he will reach out and if he doesn't you will find someone who will! But I know, it sucks right now!
