Yup. I’m older than you. We’re clearly done after 5 years married, 14 together. I dont think (for me) I would’ve ever found the right person to marry, but marriage is an essential business arrangement. At its root it is not about love really. Problem is when one or both of you are no longer in love. Now you’re stuck. Divorce is costly- financially & emotionally. Maybe it’s better to stay in a lifeless/loveless marriage.

Married for 10 years, my husband has turned into a curmudgeon. If I say white, he says black along with all the other boxes that I checked, I’ll add that one. It took a long time for my rose, colored glasses to slide down my nose and finally now off my face. It’s interesting how even though you pick up on personality issues, you tend to sweep them under the rug because your brain is still in romance mode. At this point, I see everything so clearly and have a plan to leave.

Take it from someone who walked away after years knowing it wasn’t right; it was painful and difficult but I’m so glad I chose me. It’s way worse to be in a loveless relationship than to be single. Being single brings peace of mind. I’m so glad and proud of myself that I stood in my integrity. Living a lie sucks the very soul out of you. Good luck.

I think my relationship that just ended a month ago, was just filling his void until he was firmly set in the new one. Been no contact since he walked out. First time it's been this long. I was played. Broken heart. Yet again. I am not sure I want to go through that again. I'm getting too old for games and drama. I'm old-fashioned. And as long as the internet, phones and social media are around - marriages, relationships etc. will continue to ruin families and break hearts forever. Just my humble opinion.

There are videos that depict absolutely ripped females. They are all done in stone, hence they are "chiseled ". 😂
