Okay, but let's not act like everybody else didn't vote for themselves. We can't condemn (not saying u r, but these comments keep on repeating) Pheesba and Gloria for voting for themselves when everybody else (besides George i think) voted themselves. Although I was rooting for Edimar and Pheesba
tbh I really thought Pheebsa and Gloria were ganging up cuz they were voting for themselves from the start to the end. Kinda SUS. And I was rooting for Zac and Edimar from start they were really wholesome than the rest
I wish they picked only people who ACTUALLY needed help, because I was reading these comments and all I could think about was the players and people I know who actually need/deserve the money
I’m really glad they didn’t eliminate the people who didn’t get bricks out. It was entertaining to still have them in the conversation and be able to vote every round. I also really liked how they changed up the voting process each round to spice it up so people weren’t able to plan ahead
If she voted herself, she would probably take a brick from her prime competitor, Pheebsa. And that would make Gloria the winner, and that would be terrible.
@@vority..3866 yep, or maybe she would have taken a brick from Gloria. who knows. but I was very surprised by that too. when she voted for pheebsa at the end and said "go get it girl" I was so happy and proud.
Edimar voting for another person and the other two "winners" voting themselves just goes to show how selfless and deserving Edimar was of the money, her grandma's roof is non existant like wtf is this
i’m so glad gloria didn’t win. i know the type of person she is. also zak was so funny and realll like he was being honest and saying what everyone is REALLY thinking. i wanted edminer to win but i’m alright with pheebs winning.
was i the only one rooting for edimar to win? her grandmas roof is literally FALLING. Pheebsa just wants to move out and be independent, but her grandma likely needs to be taken care of. Edimars reason was the only selfless one.
yeah, it's much harder to find money to take care of family in need while also caring for yourself. edimar deserved the money, the other two just need to hustle a bit and figure out their situations.
Just because a person has designer doesn’t mean that they don’t need help as well. Also her clothing doesn’t seem to be designer (idk I could be wrong).
A1 character development with Zak lmao. Hes endearingly chaotic. The anti-hero is my favorite trope and he attempted to play the game exactly how I think it should be played. Its tough weighing circumstances against each other because most of us have SOMETHING. I respect his attempt to remove sob stories (however valid they may be) out of the equation.
lmao yes, I was peeved by him at first, but by the end he and Edimar were my favourites, I loved their lil allegiance and chemistry together, really entertaining. we love an anti-hero
Exactly this! Even then throughout the video he actually helped others more than himself with the voting. Maybe he played very strategically but I appreciate him voting for both George and Dare with his votes and everything with Edimar
Dara seems like such a fun person to be around. Outfit stunning. Just overall positive and light hearted yet still gave her stack to someone who would be more in need of it. Just super commendable.
I'm definitely here for Zaks vibes. Loved his honesty from the on set. You could tell from the start that the sob story competition was going to be the deciding factor on the winner.
Edimar deserves the money imo for being so selfless, Gloria’s last words were just reaffirming the fact that she didn’t deserve to win 🤷🏼♀️ Say hi to Karma for me 👋🏻
I was mostly rooting for Zak, Dara, & Edimar . I love their personalities. I think people thought Zak was being selfish when in reality he was being realistic.
would love to see a react video of the people featured in this video reacting to the votes esp want to know what they think when they see Gloria and kyle voted for themselves in every round. lol
Gloria.. you ain’t fooling no one 😅 On the other hand, I do feel bad for the other ones that participated to win the money but just because their reasoning wasn’t the most urgent, they were looked over 😕
Honestly I agree with zak, he just wanted a fair chance like everybody else. Just cause he didn’t have crocodile tears doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get the money. It’s better than the other 🐍 who made up a whole sob story instead of being genuine
I was gonna be so mad if Gloria won, she's got a whole fancy jacket on and the other girls clearly needed it so much more Edit: was just made aware the girl who won was wearing fenty pants....idk what to feel anymore
I think Pheebsa didn’t deserve it at all in my opinion, looking at her social media posts she owns a lot of expensive things/lives in a very nice home with her grandma.
Brooo,, I hate the whole “who has it worst thing” like realistically $1000 isn’t gonna change someone’s life (especially not the situations some people bring up) and some people aren’t gonna want to reveal all the issues in their life so it just becomes who can make the others feel the biggest about of pity for them. They should just have one where they do random games where everyone has a more equal chance of getting the money.
Pheebsa could have used Kyles brick or Glorias to add to hers but took Edimars???? Like does she not understand her situation when it hits home for her?
@@Mayamazingg Yeah but the problem is that Pheebsa appeared kind and I'm sure she is but that was a dishonourable move. People have a problem with a facade like Gloria. She sabotaged people by doing that move and I'm sure once this tape is watched back Edimar will be surprised.
@@kc_h7h I bike 20-30 miles a day every single day, for fun. I still drive where I wanna go, so I can see the hustle but they live in a city. I bike in the midwest, in snow. Isn't this in L.A? the weather is beautiful, show some gratitude that you even have the health to bike. maybe im just hating cuz i didn't like her vibe
Lol this is kind of similar to Cut - 7 people decide who wins $1000. This Jubliee's version differs with the voting process and round changes. Definitely enjoying both channels!
Yes for a minute I thought I was watching Cut, but a different version lol But I love both channels and I do like the idea of voting in secret bc I think people will be more honest and less likely to form a "clique".
I like cut’s version more because people actually get out instead of having one or two “bricks” compared to 4 or 5 with the people having lower amounts being most likely to lose anyway
@@benjamindover7936 Cut version is pretty toxic I don’t like how some people form cliques it’s annoying also I don’t like how in some episodes they invalidate some people’s stories just because they’re white that’s just racist. For example the episode with the girl named Houdan was a disaster.
I think it was more so people seeing what she wears and in other videos too, as well as her clearly stating she was in the process of car shopping just fully threw everyone off. If she was as strapped as she said it would make more sense to budget in clothing
Edimar deserved better. The fact that she decided to vote for Pheebsa at the end only for Pheebsa (and Gloria) to have taken one of hers for themselves the round before just shows how nice of a person and how deserving of the money Edimar is
Loved this one, Jubilee! Hot take: How is Gloria advocating for a car when she admitted running into multiple things in one driving session? Like, friend, you’re a hazard. 😬
Edimar should've won. The girl who lives with her grandma like are you seriously what is that money gonna do for you? you can't move with that money plus rent plus your grandma needs your help. 100 dollars could do so much in Venezuela i'm tired of this
Dara was absolutely hilarious, I loved that George and her gave away their bricks too, it shows how genuine they are. Also Zak was SOO entertaining I would love to see more episodes like this 🥳
I’m really happy for Pheesba bc I live in a 2 br house where 7 ppl live and that not being able to have your own privacy and independence really does take a HUGE and understated weight on your mental health, and that whole having to share a bed with her grandma, I REALLY FELT THAT 😢 so I I’m glad she won and I hope she does get the independence that she needs and is able to see someone who can really help her with her mental health that was caused bc of this.
@@124bent I think you can make an argument for the rawness and emotion that you get out of the Cut videos. but either way, I'm not trying to shame Jubilee. I just wanna make sure Cut gets credit.
@@124bent it was up to the participants to determine who would get the $1000, which is the most important aspect of these kind of videos. TBH it's not that different from the cut version, just much longer with more props.
Zak was literally the necessary “evil”…Loved him and Edimar. I love the twist on every vote which honestly shows a lot more character then it shows. Also I love these games and kinda dislike the sob story every single time. Because I know everyone goes thru things and there’s nothing I hate more than a liar. But then again this is just a game so it’s just ahhhh
The ultimate betrayal came at the end from Pheebsa and Gloria. They were strong contenders with Edimar who despite needing the money desperately, decided to vote for her new found friend. They on the other hand screwed her badly. It was an insane twist.
Yiiiikes Zak & Kyle are the exact type of dudes you do NOT want in your friends group… There’s competition - Then there’s having no attachments to your own humanity- no soul out here 🤣😵💫
Hoping Kyle looks back on this and grows from it. Greed & selfishness won't take you far. Edimar & Pheebsa clearly deserved the money! Please keep casting George - such a lovely energy!!
it seemed like Kyle had issues, too, but was probably not as willing to publically state them, especially if he's from Chicago, living next to a meth house. there are a lot of extremely impoverished areas in Chicago with high-rates of violence.
Yeah honestly, seeing George so many times. We all know it's going to be a bias since he's in React, been in Odd One Out like twice, not surprised he got low, people would've recognized him as a pseudo RU-vid star
I was rooting for Edimar and Dana. They were both so selfless and kind. I also liked Zak’s honesty and appreciated how upfront he was about his situation. I’m happy Gloria didn’t win.
I don’t mean to be rude but $1000 dollars won’t get you very far in Los Angeles lol. That’s not even half of my rent out here. Not to mention gas prices are almost at $7 a gallon. I feel like it would’ve been more interesting if it were more money that they were fighting for bc realistically 1000 is nothing in la
@@lowjxssica hmm i’m not sure if that’s true. I don’t think Jubilee would fly people out for a 10 minute youtube video when they are based out of Los Angeles themselves. LA has an endless amount of people that would be dying for this exposure. plus, the cost to fly each individual person out and then pay for their room/board would end up costing close to $1000 per person. Maybe some of these contestants commuted are themselves, but I doubt Jubilee is flying them out.
The only one that deserve the money is Edimar. I thought Pheebsa deserved it too, until she took from the one who needs it the most. Zak and Kyle?..absolutely not. Gloria's crocodile tears.. *smh*
Pheebsa and Edimar 100% needed the money the most. I couldn't stand the selfishness of Zak and Kyle, and although I feel for Gloria, not having a car isn't as bad as not having a safe living situation for yourself or your family.
I checked Pheebsa’s instagram and tiktok and she’s literally wearing beats (200-300$ headphones) boots that cost like 350$ and in this video shes wearing fenty pants.. You really cant trust anyone. Plus the house that she claims to live in with her grandma is super nice
@@chapinita Sure, but they could have been gifts from ANYONE. Maybe a friend or a family member. Maybe she got these items at a bargain store/on sale. Or she thrifted them. Weird
I feel so bad for Edimar, like out of all the people her, and Pheebesa have the most need for the money. Out of everyone 1000 dollars could probably go the furthest for her and her grandma. Wishing the best to you.
Edimar calling out Zak was iconic. Call that privilege out girl. Not everyone has the luxury to just buy for fun. That’s why Gloria was crying because she is going through it. It may have been strategy but hey, she was at her lowest. If Zak played a game, why can’t she? Why is Gloria being demonized for crying. But I think either Pheebsa or Edimar should have won. Which I’m glad one of them didz
Someone with connections needs to hook Edimar up. Or start a gofundme, something! Her plight was most deserving, and she seemed genuinely nice in my opinion.
It always turns into whoever has the best sob story wins. Which is fine if thats how you want to play, but then there's no spirit of fun and competition. It basically just turns into whoever cries the most gets the money. Which I guess is the purpose of these videos, to explore empathy and our human nature. But Zak was the only one keeping it 100 and trying to have a fun experience. Which is not to say that he couldn't possibly have any tremendous struggles. He was just playing the game differently, which I enjoyed.
