I am a 17 year ovarian cancer survivor. I saw the video where you mentioned that you had been diagnosed with ovarian. I hope you are doing quite well. I enjoy your videos.
Great tips Sheila🌻 Finally someone else who agrees high waters aren’t flattering! I’ve been trying to tell people this about the cropped pants craze. Unless you’re tall and skinny it just isn’t flattering. I think a dress “should” end at the smallest part of your leg…and that’s different for everyone.
Petal pushers were never flattering, but they did keep my jeans from catching into my bike chain, back in the 1950’s. Changing their name did not give them style, nor make them high fashion.
Thank you Sheila, for this very informative video! You look beautiful and your hairstyle and color is so pretty!!! Enjoy your day and please keep those videos coming. 🙏🏻🌷
I love that short natural looking hair on you. It makes you look younger than the black hair. Also, that blouse is perfect, with the right sparks of color. Lovely.
I appreciate your comments about body shapes. I think that I am an apple or oval shape or maybe even an inverted triangle. I wear a size 16 top and size 6 bottom. I only wear long dresses or skirts and I love jeans and pants. I avoid big, loose tops. I have a new blouse with puff sleeves that I am kinda worried about wearing. The bodice fits, so I hope that it’ll look nice on me. I have invested in a classic wardrobe, which I believe seems to work for me. You look great! I love your hair!
Great style fixes ! I was trying on belts the other day to see what looked best with some of my dresses. I think im short waisted . Most looked best with the narrow belt . Will keep all the tips in mind. Thanks for the info. 😊 Your looking lovely.❤
If the narrow belt looks better than that's the one. It might not mean you have a short waist, it might be the outfit. If you can see which one looks better that's wonderful.
Sheila, since you ditched the hair color for your natural color, you look amazing! Before, you just looked like an average middle aged woman. Now? You look stunning! Brava!
Hi Sheila! I wanted to get a few belts since I dropped 90+ lbs. I am so glad I saw this video first. This is very helpful. Also the tips on pant lengths and turtlenecks too. I never understood why a turtleneck looked frumpy on me...now I get it. Thanks as always! Hope you are having a wonderful day sweet lady!! 😊
I have discovered chain belts, as an elderly woman. I do prefer that smooth fitted bust and long line of plain color of the tunic, but the belt allows the curves to show. I have also discovered the well fitted bra. The bright skarf as a great cover up for elder arms, affected by the medications our docs find necessary. These items are something i care about, even at my age. I live in my Jean’s, but I do wear Bermuda shorts in the summer, but never have any part of my ancient legs seen the public eye! There is no way i can disguise my age, but i have started wearing, in public, a touch of makeup, on lashes, brows, and cheeks, though i have never worn make up as a daily routine, and never worn foundation, which is not great for healthy skin. Being old, however, does seem to require a bit (and i do mean “a bit”) of color to define things that have gone blank or neutral. i love shows of hints like yours and other helpers, to give ideas for updating and improving the wardrobe. Thank you.
This video has such great content I will be watching it again tomorrow! I have narrow shoulder but am very “busty”! Add a long waistline but an apple “tummy” and short legs, and I’m not sure what I am! Ha! But i will figure it out. Thanks again! You’re looking lovely! ❤️🙏🏻
I have a rectangle, body, my shoulders and my hips are the same. I don’t have much of a waste. I also am very petite and my weight is average address for that body type and it works out beautifully.
Hi Sheila, you look great today, As Lways. I love the dress you're wearing the colors are beautiful and they look great on you. My question is how do I make my breast look smaller, and what colors would help with this. Ty in advance.
@@StylebySheila Sure. Don't know exact proportions, but many black and Hispanic women have very very tiny waists, hourglass figures with wider hips. (Think Fashion Moda customers.) I've often wondered how a stylist would style that type of figure.
Hello enjoy your content what would be your suggestion if the dress wld look better with heels but you are unable to wear heels thank you in advance if you’re able to respond with a video or reply comment
