@@Andyhawkismonkethe North Sea is one, if not the most terrifying sea in the world because of how aggressive it is most of the time. Lets say if you were to fall over from a ship in other seas during a slight storm, you have a chance of being saved. In the North Sea however...no chance during the calmest storms of getting saved. Hell, even the ship is at risk during a slight storm in this sea.
Would of been perfect with a little combat added in atleast some tools to use at will just feels like a walking simulator after a while as good as the story/graphics are
@MR.SKANDAL0121 I mean what you gonna do against a 30 foot tall alien creature that has 80 spike arms and all you have is a hammer, but maybe you could stun renneck or trots, Addair maybe not
@@MarshallsTrains so your happy with a walking simulator that's okay... but I'm not there's enough walking simulators already they're boring and lack any sense of achievement horror games need to have some sort of combat or atleast tools that can help you end of story
I NEED MORE GAMES LIKE THIS! **Suggestions please** I started this about a week ago. I've beat it I think 4 times. I immediately played it over after the first time. And then I saw the achievement for playing the game in Scottish Gaelic so I played one more time just to get a feel for things so I could do most by memory cause clearly I can't read Scottish Gaelic haha. But hey it worked haha
@CEO-of-money yeah, I just looked it up, and it's a survival game. Not really into survivals all that much. I'm the guy that checks out every single thing in a game... habit... And in survival games there's too much to check out and it ends up just getting boring walking around looking at every thing. But games like this where you only have a certain path you can take I like
Honestly, After 2 playthroughs I was pretty satisfied with the game. Graphics, Voice Acting and Setting was Awesome. 8.9/10 for me. Things I would change: Enemies should feel more like a threat, they should be able to reach or force their way inside hiding spaces a wee bit if they either see you enter it, make too much noise or have you light on within it. If you throw multiple objects from the same direction they should catch on to that. Enemies should be able to seal hiding spots if they see you enter it but can't get to you before you get outside its reach. Pontoons section needs more of a challenge, maybe have those tendril things force their way in whilst you swim through to make it more difficult. Add Trophy/Achievement for no Death's
Great game I just finished it on my Steam Deck OLED performance wasn’t the best. Wish I’d have bought it on my PS5 first to have gotten the best experience
@@Delta-007 yes it is because it have no combat but i would like to call these type of games "atmospheric horror" because it focus mostly on atmosphere to scare you rather than underpowered combat but for me have no problem to consider outlast as survival horror because of hiding and running mechanic but layers of fear/soma is definitely a walk sim which i prefer calling atmospheric horror.
No demo no play. And lol set at Christmas time so there's a skeliington crew. They obviously did no research. Oil production does not stop or slows down for national holidays
Walking simulator Don’t recommend it I finished it and man it really does not deserve the time no story no gameplay just walking around there is like 5 minutes of silly chasing and about 30 minutes of getting past monsters but the kind of monsters that a 5 Y.O. kid can finish from the first or second try and they didn’t even bother to explain what is the creature that caused it
@@gael53zombieqc13 I mean, you can watch a whole playthrough and there isn't much to do, but IMO it's a way better purchase than most other games these days. You'll probably get your moneys worth out of it if you like the genre.
