These commercials aired on CBS on January 27th, 1978.
I don't expect to post many volumes of these, but there's content from the late 70's out there that I think is worth posting.
1. L'eggs
2. Excedrin (The first guy must have received all of his fashion advice from Carl Sagan)
3. 7-11 (Mr. Hyde drives a Volkswagen Convertible?)
4. Promo for "The Jeffersons", "Maude" and "Kojak"
5. Aim (Note to self: never start an argument with this lady over toothpaste)
6. Wisk (Oh god! Those dirty rings!)
7. Lowenbrau (With Paul Gleason from "The Breakfast Club")
8. "The World Beyond" Commercial Bumper
9. Promo for "The Bob Newhart Show" and "The Tony Randall Show" (Tony Randall had his own sitcom?)
10. Fred Montesi Supermarket (Amazing elevator music here)
11. Dobbs Ford
12. Promo for "Miss Arkansas Universe Pageant" ("Arkansas Universe" is a pretty strange phrase...)
13. Bayer ("It has relieved more aches, pain and fever than any medication in history." Well ok then...)
14. Western Electric Telephones
15. Dial (Oh yeah!)
16. Gallo Red Rosé (This reminds me of one of those product placements on "The Price Is Right")
17. Pam (Money - Calories - Time = Pam)
18. Sucrets
19. "The World Beyond" End Credits

I lived in Memphis from 1967-1977 and when I saw the Dobbs Ford commercial it brought back a wave of memories from my childhood. Thanks for uploading.

The announcer in those CBS Fabulous February promos was Dick Tufeld. He was pretty much ubiquitous from the late 1950s to the '80s advertising everything from Rice-A-Roni to Raleigh cigarettes to Green Giant veggies, plus he was the voice of the Lost in Space Robot.

Even though my wife and I have been stuck at home during these last few days, due to the ice and snow storms, that hit our area this week, we made the best of it by sitting down together and reminiscing, while watching these classic collections of 70's commercials, bring back so many wonderful memories for both of us.Thanks for all of the hard work in recording, collecting, organizing, listing, and categorizing all of these commercials, so that others can view them, and enjoy them. Great job.

I am _savoring_ the nostalgia just watching these. Suddenly I'm a kid again, laying on the couch, mom is cooking dinner, the world seems so much larger, but safer, life seems full of wonder and excitement, and mystery. Can't wait till summer to play outside until after dark

Man, that's some classic flashback stuff there. 1978 was the year I finished kindergarten and started first grade. I remember the general formats of most of those commercials from way back in my life. I'm 40 now, and I'm pretty tripped out after seeing all of that.

@manyvideoinerests It was a manufacturing arm of AT&T that produced telephones, as well as other electronic equipment and devices. The Vitaphone system that brought sound to motion pictures was developed by Western Electric, along with other advances in sound technology. In 1984, WE was swallowed up by a new division of AT&T and in 1996 became independent and split/sold its assets.

9 cents for a hot dog, at least a homeless person could eat even if there wasn't that many of them. Nowadays you have to have good credit and get a loan for a hot dog

This bunch of commercials are AMAZING! I am 36 but I remember alot of stuff from '78 television. I have a great memory in general but most of my memories start from the age of 3. @80sCommercialVault I found that government models are exorbitantly expensive. They charge you an arm and a leg for something that doesn't even go back to when MTV was decent. And that's even without the unbelievable warranty charge and insurance policy! What a ripoff! I should have also mentioned that I saw a great bargain on QVC one time, but they were sadly all out of stock. Thanks for the help anyways. I shall always be on the lookout for a new sale. Cheers. =)
