@@rodrigovillanueva5384 they're only hard to kick if you don't normally practice left leg kicking on a right side kick start. I started practicing that when I stalled on a hill I was going up diagonally and I fell into the hill on my right (kick-start) side, went to start it without dismounting lost my footing on the left side and went end over into a ravine and got pinned for about an hour and still couldn't start my bike because I was so weak and it was still on the wrong side of the slope. Later i learned I could've and should've just hopped off and stepped up the hill a foot stood the bike upright slightly and kicked it with my left foot.
We decided to try youtube premier. Usually we have released video on wednesday. Now in 2019 we try to setup Premier and answer your questions and chat with you when the videos are released. How does this sound?
as someone who has lived in the high desert my whole life, i cannot get over the beauty of it there. i dont think i could do anything but sit and look. also, a hyabusa grom would be sweet
One awesome running bike I luv it is bad ass I have owned a few kx 500 and a cr 500 but they had nothing for that 700 hundred you have keep the great work up I have a few dirt bikes enjoy riding 2 strokes dirt bikes only 2 strokes forever best of luck too you mike holden out of North Carolina said that
Yeah I did test drive the 2017 KTM 300 2 stroke and first thing I noticed was that it had no vibrations at all thanks to the counter balance, sadly second thing I noticed was lack of power compared to my old WR450F. I did end up bying a brand new 2019 KTM 500 EXC F and it vibrates but it is not bad compared to my old Yamaha WR450. Think I would have needed a 450 or 500 2 stroke to be happy, but the KTM 500 4 stroke is pretty good and has more power then I can handle already and the power is easy to control. I am not a good rider and just do it for fun, and more power is fun even if not practical :)
you should try like... idk not buying a 2 stroke you might like it, when i got my 250f i had a lot more fun than on a 125 just because it got boring i have nothing against them i still have a 125 but i like my 250f better
@@ImJustShadow. I'm an MX tech and racer, repair, set-up, and ride all bikes. I prefer two strokes. 4 strokes have their pros n cons just like a two stroke. I'm faster on and prefer two-strokes
@@henriht1147 They probably have some pretty hefty rubber motor mounts too. That big single 700 must rattle most anything apart. Still wanna ride one though!
If you want to get rid of the vibrations a counter balancer is the only way, flexx bars and rubber engine mounts won't do much. There are guys that have made them for CR500s, doesn't look too difficult
@mondayfool yeah but we're talking SFT here, I don't know if you saw their minibike with a 450 or their GSXR dirtbike (they were a little hacky) they're just gonna rip on it for a video or two and then sell it off
I did a swap with one and you pretty much have to build your own rubber mounts if you can't find any after market, but once you do that they don't vibrate much more than a 450. Ps I hope they put a silencer on it lol
Surely with modern engine building blueprinting and balancing technology good off reduced what looked to be a horrendously stupendous ankle numbing vibration ... I'd nickname that bike RichtAScale
Maybe try to hit up some sidecar teams like willemsen racing or so, they use these engines so they know what to do about the vibrations and as far as I can tell, they are using engine breaking, so there must be a solution for that issue, too.
I'm always surprised by how slow big 2 strokes are... based on the power to cc ratio, a 125cc would only be about 14 horsepower when in reality they are usually a lot more than that. A 125 is prime. A 250 is a reasonable upgrade but after that, its demishing return...
At this size you should just take a 850cc ski doo motor, makes over 130hp, parallel twin way less vibration. Or is there a specific class they need to follow rules for?
