Go behind the scenes on my pre-season training camp in Spain. See what it takes to be Le Tour's most combative rider. Thanks to @precisionfandh for bringing the fuel, cameras and banter.
I switched to lace shoes too, aero was secondary, I wanted to be able to get my shoe covers on and off easier. Dealing with Boa dials right before a race, trying to slide Velotoze over them, forget it. I guess that is for aero reasons, but lazy aero reasons.
Came here to say that I jumped for joy with both my arms in the air when I saw you win today! Been following you since your hour record and always appreciated your fitness routines. Well deserved! Cheers to you and your girlfriend for both of your sacrifices! With love and dedication anything is possible.❤You both are heroes!🎉🎉🎉🎉
11:47 Truer words never been spoken. i live in Finland and went to run in -7 celsius. Clothing was on point. Got back home, hopped on bike in same clothing and went for a ride. Nearly froze my c0ck. Yeah. Padding in bib shorts works also as windbreaker. Forgot about that. Again.
2:02 Just looking at your laces - I wear laced shoes for mountain biking, but had laced them up differently. I changed them to how you lace yours and they were immediately more comfortable, almost like I wasn't wearing cycling shoes, so thanks for that! And congratulations on all your achievements. You remind me of Jens Voigt - you just need your own catchphrase, like 'Shut up, Legs'!😁
Fantastic insight into the dedication and technical detail this legend of the sport but's into his pre-season training. Amazing!!! You're a 100% credit to your profession.
Thanks for sharing some of your off-season training secrets, Victor. Very interesting to see how you mix things up. All the very best for the coming season 🙂
Why don't you still spend the same amount of hours on your TT bike? Focusing more on road racing and domestique duty, or does it have diminishing returns? Great video otherwise. I love lace up shoes for the exact same reasons.
