DAYTONA SURVIVOR: This bike was brought to us by it's original owner. The bike has been covered up in a barn for about 20 years. Compton had taken this bike to Daytona and returned home with it. We can't say that about the subsequent Kawasaki he took, his KZ 900 LTD, which was stolen and never recovered. Hence the name "Daytona Survivor." Compton says this is a good core to start with and we couldn't agree more. Main theme music, "Daytona" by Hunter Parks.

Johnnie' all I can say is shift your family and business to Australia and I would be knocking on your door ! I imported a KZ1000 from California a number of years ago and would love the work that Hilo, Kenny, and yourself do to my bike. The level of detail is extraordinary to say the least! I unfortunately can't locate S100 in Australia. Hat of to you guys for the enormous effort and care that you put into our bikes ❤

Another great transformation by Johnny…back to “new” condition again. I was fortunate to have owned a ‘76 KZ900 back in 1977 and 1978. The sound never gets old!

Lovely job done, I don’t like the chrome covers on the clocks, and the 26mm carbs, what happened to the plastic coating on the clutch and brake levers? Apart from that she’s a beauty!

A restoration like this can run you anywhere from $12,000 to $20,000 depending on your tastes.

Fantastic job # my choice would get rid of that very ugly seat # its just not right.prefer the black covers on the clocks,needs the 4 pipes them 2 dont look good on that model and the black mirrors need to go back on # then it would be perfect # lovely job but neefs that bit more doing to it # brings tears to my eyes

What happened to the original plastic coating on the brake and clutch levers? I prefer to see them without the yellowed plastic myself, even if it isn't stock. Very nice bike!

Why didn't you remove the tank, seat, luggage rack and sissy bar before applying the s100? It seems that it would have been more thorough?

Great, Johnny my Pal, you're a life saver, I love these big bore DOHC 4 Cylinder Kawasaki's, can't get away from them, back in January, my Wife bought me a 1/6 scale Kawasaki Z-1 diecast replica of the real motorcycle for my Birthday!!! Also, I may have a '75 Kawasaki Z-1 900B Police Bike coming my way!!! It's all there, including the Motorola CB Radio, like to restore it as a CHP Vehicle, it is a real Kawasaki C-Model, the later ones are P-Model!!!
