Greetings, Haseeb! I thought this video might be just on basic information, but I knew I should watch it, because you are an excellent teacher and I could learn something new. I did! Thank you! I want to speak about two points... 1) It is a very minor thing; but in the USA we usually refer to the "slider" as a "wiper." This is not fault-finding. I only wish to improve our communications, for the sake of learning. 2) This one may just be a failing of my understanding... I thought that a potentiometer was a three terminal voltage divider and the a rheostat was a two terminal variable resistor... Ahhhh, as I write this, illumination has come. Yes, the potentiometer changes voltage, whereas the rheostat changes current. I get it! I just had not thought about their operations in that way. That is a helpful point.

Great video. How about discussing of smd power supply, such as voltage booster, buck converter with circuit diagram and their working. Seen so many videos about through hole components working but never smd board with circuit diagram like laptop basic power supplies, power rails.

Salam M Haseeb, i am having a hard time to fix a 12v-220v inverter. I changed the primary section mosfets, now i see 387 Vdc at main capacitor, but the output is only 145V and it is not modified sine wave, just positive square wave and not regulated. ICs used are sg3525 for the primary and the secondary uses a 556 timer and tc4013 dual flip flop. Any idea where to look at ? as there are few components, i checked them all but cannot see the problem. Thank you.

the output stage full bridge driver have problem if one pair is not getting drive puse, at that time we will find this problem might be flip flop is not making dual drive or any concerning part is problematic

just remove one pair form the H-Bridge circuit and check the output, if it is giving output then check the circuit for second pair of H-Bridge
