8,500ft Slow Flight (24MPH) Above The Clouds: Very Windy Day:Cherokee PA28 180: Pilot Training Day 3 

18:00 Beautiful View of the clouds. 28:05 We got down to 24 MPH Ground Speed with the massive Headwinds. This was a very windy day. Takeoff and Climb was rough, lots of bumps. Allen did much of the flying. Wind picked us back up on landing at one point. Beautiful Clouds at 8,500 ft. We had to cut the day short as the clouds were rising and wind getting worse. It was very smooth at the higher altitude, but getting there was no fun. The wind hit us so hard once if felt like somebody rear-ended us, lol
