If you haven't done a video on pattern mixing, could you? It intrigues me when done well, but I'm a bit fearful to try it without some guidance. I don't want to look like a mix and match day for an elementary school spirit day.
I actually think the butt is coverage is less important then the cutchie cover in the front. Both should be covered when day to day activities, yes working out let it all hang out. Thanks for point it out.
Samantha Elizabeth AGREED. I asked my bridesmaids to wear nude heels in they had them for the wedding and I was shocked how many of them don’t have light/nude heels.
1. buying the same outfits repeatedly 2. light coloured clothes, light shoes - skip the black! 3. cut the thread at the back of the blazer 4. leggings - cover your butt or not? (opinion) 5. wearing wrong undies - wear a bra that fits! 6. too much going on - choose between a statement necklace or earrings, not both 7. choose colours and patterns wisely. (personally i follow a 3 colour palette) 8. don’t wear heels higher than 3 inches / 100 mm

For the legging/butt question, I say it’s up to the individual! I’ve never cared if someone chose to or to not have their legging clad butt covered 🤷🏻♀️
Plain janes are those who don’t stand out so everyone should wear what fits there personality including a statement necklace andddd earrings!!! Seen a poll that men tend to find women more attractive with the bling!!! I say go for what works for you!!!
I actually have the same opinion on leggings. The long shirt snags on things, flaps around, or is distracting to you when you're being active or working out. But when you're going about your everyday life wearing a long shirt seems to feel appropriate in most situations.
Love your tips. I pride myself in looking “put together” but have fallen prey to several of the things you mention. The biggest one being worn out bras. 😬

Lil Confused.... i think the CL 100 mm is closer to 4 inches (3.97) and the 85mm closer to 3 inches... so which is preferred to keep it at 3” heel or 4”

You could do a whole 'how should it fit video on bra, underwear and shoes. Also when to wear what shoes both for health and fashion reasons and knowing when to get shoes fixed via DIY or find a good cobbler.
I think the butt vs no butt issue really comes down to the thickness of the leggings. if the leggings are really thin then definitely cover because everyone will be able to see through them. but if they are really thick then go for it, show the butt off.
Sort of agree on the leggings / butt issue... definitely ok to show at the gym but I think it’s also fine at the grocery store or for running errands! Just make sure it’s not three sizes too small 🤣 and of course cover it up for office work environment 🤷🏼♀️
Hi Shea, I throw my Adidas in the washing machine on the cold cylce with a little bleach and they come out like new. I do it once or twice a year. 😁 I've had mine about two or three years now and they are still as good as new when I wash them. 😁 Great video! I really like your tips. 😁

Remove any price tags or stickers from underneath your shoes way too often people forget, same with the fabric care tags inside tshirts that are thin kinda see-through like the ones on the side

About the "busy" outfits - in the 1960s I saw a brochure that gave points for each standout item in your outfit. A pattern was 1 point, fancy shoes 1 point, each piece of jewelry 1 point, even eyeglasses were 1 point, makeup 1 point. The brochure suggested limiting your outfit to x number of points, something like 8 to 12 points. Below that was too dull; above that was too busy. Some people like me need a guideline.
I read in a book many years ago that if you want to save a lot of money on shoes but still have them looking great, find a good cobbler, go through your shoes every season and get any repairs done to them, then only throw them out when they are in such a bad state that they are beyond resuscitation. I did what they said and my shoes now last years longer and I have saved a lot of money which can then go into other things. It was really good advice.
I like that you addressed the show/not show butt situation! I work at a clothing outlet and the rule is that our butts have to be covered if we wear leggings... So there's a stance from a professional wardrobe code

I notice though that you have a great sparkly and upward or bouncy energy when you express yourself and yet your choice of beige, together with the long willow tree hair and draping blouse evokes a different vibe, which clashes in terms of aesthetic, with your vibrant nature. It’s like going to a TGIF’s but the indoor decor and music being like that of a massage parlor/spa.... creating a conflicting vibe from what is expected. I’d suggest you wear more vibrant colors to match your bubbly nature and crisp fabrics or anything that makes a zippy sound... and shorter happy hairstyle. Many people make a similar choice in dressing the opposite to their nature but when we recognize and accept and embrace it and dress it up to match it actually helps people accept the way we are because we aren’t creating a false or mismatched image to begin with. Wishing you the best and don’t change who you are!

Yup. I like the hi rise Lulu ones Shea is wearing, I have the same in grey and black, but have to say the camo looks very nice. Maybe I should splurge? I wear them with no thought to my ass. I put on a sweat shirt or t shirt, and often tuck on the side.
I like wearing different type of sneaker, I ordered PF flyers in leather they fit so comfortable and has actually made a statement being they are old school sneakers like converse..
I only wear my butt out working out and am covered otherwise. I know younger woman can get away with it more than older but still! Funny that I saw a girl at the gym this morning with skin color leggings and thought the same thing. Please don't wear those! I'm glad you brought this up. You do NOT wear leggings and show your butt!!! Leggings are not pants!!! ALWAYS wear a tunic or a long top. That is a major fashion mistake that I see way too often. It's very class-less to wear leggings as pants. Even my boyfriend is put-off when he sees it lol. He says those women have no sense of fashion.
I have been purging my closets, yes I said closets! I’m 80, don’t work anymore, don’t go to fancy places much, so yes I really need to purge! Like you were talking about the same kind of sweater...that was me with tops...20 white tee shirts, blouses, etc 🤪WHY??? Same goes for other colors. Purses, O my gosh I got rid of 20 and still have more that need to go!! Shoes, well feet change as you age and don’t fit the same...I don’t need 15 pairs of heels, don’t wear lace tennis shoes anymore, flats that are to high, etc etc! I agree about the black shoes. For some reason lately i have not been into black shoes in general... i dont know why. Like they are so ...drastic. especially for booties. I prefer taupe, or grey, or tan....

A fashion designer suggested women should wear different colors besides black, because if brings a glow to the face. I decided to try it. I bought a vintage, cranberry colored fuzzy cardigan.Every time I wear it I get a compliment on how great the color looks on me. Good to step out of the comfort zone

Marion Tia yoga pants are a better alternative because it shows off every inch of your body. Now we are in a generation where dressing conservatively is not appreciated by the majority of men. They would like to see some skin and there is no harm in doing that. 😋 this is called being kind to the male species. Lane4305 there shouldn't be any laws as to how everyone should dress themselves unless there is a dress code for where you work and makes you abide by the rules or else you won't be able to pay your bills but in my belief, telling others what's appropriate or not, it’s just utterly absurd and wrong. As you can see from the beginning of this video, she clearly mentioned that these are just what she experienced and she is not trying to impose her opinion onto others. I don't understand why people feel the need to exaggerate everything and pass their non-sense judgement onto others. We only live once and no one has a right to tell us how we should live and what standards we have to set for ourselves whether it’s morally right or wrong. I think the legging situation is just personal preference but I am a teacher and I’ve seen teachers at some schools wear leggings without covering their behinds and I feel that is not appropriate. I would only wear leggings under a dress at school or on field day.
Everyday Deanda I have a tub full of a 1,000 colors of long spaghetti strap tanks all in the same cut because they are 4/$10. all my hoodies have branding on them ; so I feel it looks odd to have a t-shirt with designs coming threw the top of the zipper.
