Their are times where I have like idk over reacted over the smallest thing and have thought to myself, you messed up everything! But my dad always reminds me that not everyone is perfect, and a lot of people have made the same mistakes you have and you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself. Moral of the story here in this paragraph I’m gonna call it, is you make mistakes to learn, not to have a really bad consequence that you think is you’re fault. That would be pretty dumb if mistakes were made that way.

If I journal, I usually will go at least 30 minutes at a time, 45 to an hour if I'm not needing to multitask

Try to journalize if you have depression. I do and it helps me a lot. Another one IS focusing on one task at a time. If you try to multitask, your brain gets overloaded and you end up frustrated. It's also helpful to have an organized "workspace" and particular place for everything. Plus, do your tasks in a space you feel keeps you organized and comfortable, not what the world feels you should.

Me: Considering the amount of preparation, finances, and other things that need to be taken care of in order to do what I want to do.......100% agree. @@Murgatroydian I have actually. A few years back I went to work in a different state for a few months as a summer time kitchen staff. I want to study or intern abroad before deciding which country to live in but because of COVID and other things, it's on the backburner currently.

@@bia-tv2wj um, I'm not one to be suggesting things, but if you're a minor you can look into studying abroad. Depending on the program it can be a few weeks to a full year. That way you can get a taste of American life and see if you like it or not.

@@DragonSlayer1417 Thank you for telling me. But the only option would be to wait till I'm older and I can get a job, since it seems expensive for me and it would literally be impossible to save up at the moment. It's also a very big decision and I think that it would be better if I lived in Europe

I used to think that too and just didn't even really understand what it was.. and boy did the universe have something in store for me 🤣🤣 Anxiety is hard to explain, but alot of people call it "fear of the present moment".. be thankful you haven't experienced it because I rarely go a day without feeling it at some point 🙏

Words only hurt when you listen to them. If some rando off the street said something mean, well yourr hardly going to listen to some stranger, but somebody you know? Somebody who you listen to? I was having the worst day today & I then I heard a beautiful voice asking me with such a friendly way "How you doing... How you really doing?" & I felt like there is always someone who cares about yoy even if they are not with you & don't even know about your existence...I may not have anyone around me to ask how I'm doing but I'd like to imagine that there are people ypu don't even know me deeply cares about me... That makes me happy so I'll keep pretending that I have someone

I used to have a very very strict inner critic. And it was for good reason too, i... Didnt really act the best. It helped push me to improve myself. I felt likr i wasnt good enough, and its because i WASNT good enough at the time. I wasnt the person who i wanted to be, and there was a lot of work that needed to be done to get me there. But now? I made it. Who i am now is exactly who i want to be. Theres no more need to keep fighting so hard to improve myself. But that inner critic wasnt so quick to leave. I had become dependent on it, and just because its job was done didnt mean that it was gonna just go away. I had to really work to shut that inner critic up. It took a lot of time and patience. But now... I did it. I made it. No more fighting, no more putting myself down, no more "i need to be better". Im me, and im finally happy with who i am

I love journalling, but sometimes I don't like coming into terms with my feelings or real life so I avoid every single detail. It's unhealthy, but I have been working on journalling the bad things, even if they're too hard to come into terms with.

I tried joirnaling but when my parents told me the journal wasn't supposed to be read by others (since i was addressing to the reader) i immediately dropped the whole thing and started seeing it as a waste of time and energy. i still do

I used to compare myself a lot, I didn't listen to my body and I had self-esteem problems and problems with food. Now I listen to my body, do what it needs, I separate things and give mine rest time, self care, I have productive habits and I feel more positive and grateful, good energy! It's a difficult journey, but little by little you begin to do well for yourself and reap the rewards!Yes it's possible, I got over most of my fears and my anxiety, my food issues, I stopped counting calories and now I'm happy. It will always be difficult and there will be bad days, but you it achieves! You can! gratitude ☀️

Does anyone else hate the sound of ambulance sirens? It literally shocks me to the core (suddenly I'm in the ambulance with them trying to offer support) and I think about all the pain and suffering that family is about to go through and it saddens me greatly that I am unable to do anything about it.

The only thing about worrying me in the self-reflection part was my physical journal. I'm anxious that someone in my house will come across my notebook and read it. It happened before and I was completely embarrassed. I always wanted to keep my feelings to myself until i'm ready to share it with someone. Reading my journal was like seeing through my whole self, I feel completely exposed and anxious.

The mantain social connections is so true... I went through a breakup and it was devastating cuz my ex was one of the few people I talked to on a regular and it went sour. I got really afraid of the state of my friendships as I kinda disconnected from people. Covid didn't help and to vent I took months but I now go out more and really appreciate my friends specially the ones who understood my sorry state ahah
