Wanted to try their vip greet services transferring out this spring on Lufthansa business via FRA but their website just won’t work! Tried to call in but nobody answered! I guess I was snubbed because I didn’t book first class lol?
I would love to come with positive critiques on this video, but I find in very poor taste not disclosing how much the VIP services would cost to a regular customer. Their pricing structure appears to be extremely opaque as one has to require a quotation from them first from a PDF form (Germany, of course). You say “it’s not nearly as expensive as you thought”, but probably that’s a decision that we potential customers have to take by ourselves.
I love how Dan said to wash of the stink off the a320 for the a380 even tho the a380 assembly line warehouse in Toulouse has been converted for a320s lol 😂
This is a really informative video. I will be flying First class on Lufthansa from MUC-BOS LH424 in October and LH425 in November. LH424 will be on A380 and LH425 will be on A340-600. I’m very excited to be flying on Lufthansa first class for the first time. Unfortunately I didn’t have the miles for it so instead had to pay the €5500.

How the other half lives. VIP Check-In services on the way to a first-class transatlantic flight. You clearly don’t eat between flights or you’d weigh 200 KGs! Love the “fave school teacher” service, the A330-600 and, especially, the A380! Great video!!
I like the first class it is so nice and open. First and business classes have gotten so confined that for someone that didn't have claustrophobia before has now kind of felt it with all the walls and partitions. And the new layouts are so not good for any type of conversations. NO people just keep those ear buds in and don't meet a person LOL. No really. Love the openness.
I absolutely agree with you. I have large family, and occasionally we had the whole first class to ourselves. But, now there are many airlines, where it would be an impossible thought to put a 2 years old sitting in a cubicle all by herself. You also correct about interaction between people. I have met many truly interesting people while flying.

Recently on 747, while amenities were good, the female staff member sprayed champagne all over me in 1A, when I complained, she gave me a napkin, and said it happens. Bruising champagne when opening a bottle is from carelessness or lack of training, either way, if so, it should have been done in galley. And there were comments about needing to speak English, while of course, I speak basic German, it's a lot easier for me to speak English. Seat was great and yes, you do get a locker, which is nice.
I've been watching Dan's videos for what seems like ages now. I remember seeing a couple of TT recommended videos and liking the content so I decided to check out the page where all the old videos are and started watching. The videos I binged on? It was a non stop dan looking like he was 15 walking the tarmac (maybe frankfurt?), checking out Lufthansa planes from the outside. From checking planes out from the outside to flying first class in them is a pretty good journey!
