I would be interested to see that on a chronograph. Because I'm fairly certain you've taken .300 Win Mag there and dropped its muzzle energy below that of a No 5 Enfield in .303.

The punch from a 300win mag out of an 8 inch barrel w/ muzzle brake would be devastating to the operator too. Literally like getting punched in the forehead

I'm dying to know the ballistics of this. And, my hope that somebody has optimized a load in this chambering for a short barrel is unrealistic, but it exists nonetheless.

I'd like to see the chronograph readings for that....with an 8inch barrel I'm not sure sure it is all that devastating. At least not any more so than a 30.06 witha 20 or 24 inch barrel.

This gets a dislike because this is stupid. It's coming out the end of the barrel at maybe 2250fps. A 7.62x39 will be the same at the same velocity.
