Agreed, though i can see why mac likes her, she is kind, smart and a respectable lady who does have her moments. Think if she does get a partner it likely would be someone who can help her out and have similar tastes in activities as her. Also likely wouldn't hurt if she is also looking for some traits she is attracted to as well.
More of a similar thing to Dipper and Wendee but the age is more appropriate. I think Craig did this as a way to bring back the running tradition as a kid crushes on the teacher (when they don’t) or the babysitter gag. Lol
@robbieking4070 It's funny to think that if their respective cartoons were on a real-world timeline, Mac would have been old enough to give Dipper relationship advice as an adult. Mac: "Ah, an older redhead. Been there. Hey, you wouldn't happen to repeatedly cross paths with an annoying girl your age that makes you want to slam a door in her face, do you?" Dip: "Yeah, actually, her name's Pacifica. Does yours have a weird name too?" Mac: "As a matter of fact, she does! Goo and I got married two years ago." Dip: "Oh, no..." Mac: "Just keep an open mind, kid. Just saying."
@@reeses_unicorn Yes, I remember him being reduced toa love interest and while he still had a personality and he even wrote a song about the experience, he was forgotten
She is the Liza Ortiz of Western Animation. They're both iconic actresses who have limited vocal range, yet manage to have enough likeability in each role they do that one can dismiss it. The Fairly OddParents, "The Boy Who Would Be Queen," has pretty much convinced me of this when one of the hairdressers who was voiced by Griffin, sounded a lot like Ortiz.
Sure I mean even as a kid, I liked Frankie. It wasn’t just bc she wore the Powerpuff Girls shirt but she was just such a nice girl and really cared for everyone, even though Mr. Harriman pushed her buttons over the littlest things.
Frankie is too good for most of the male humans on this show. Mac is the only one who would probably treat her right and he’s way out of her age range.
DAMNIT HE WAS SO CLOSE AT THE END AND THEY RUINED IT lol poor mac and frankie could have used the confidence boost after dealing with multiple creeps😂🤣
I mean, it's really just a puppy crush. It's supposed to be seen as relatable for kids and adorable for adults. It isn't supposed to lead to anything serious.
I was macs age when I first got my fictional character crush and made an imaginary friend of him. He never went away! He’s still with me 22 years later😅
Frankie is that crush as a kid you wish you had as a gf and wanted bragging rights to prove your friends you really had a hot older girlfriend. Reality hits and then you find someone else lol.
@@atomic747 No, it doesn't reminde me of myself. I've never had a crush on anyone. The fact is that in moovies, cartoons, etc. it just looks weird because the writers of EVERY show I've ever watched MAKE it weird. Like from 5:50 to 7:04 it was all so out of place. And knowing that Mac (a literal child) is a self-insert of the author and Frankie (an adult) is inspired by his wife, it becomes disgusting.
As a kid back that hearing Frankie say to Mac why can't more men be like you. Even as a kid I was like ouch. I forgot how old Mac is what 10-11? Young adult Mac would be good for her an foster.
It be cool if she actually took take care of Mac from his brother. Heh, i can imagine how that would be. Terrance would meet Mac somewhere with bloo and he picks on him. Then all of suddenly, Frankie shows up at the right time and put Terrence in his place. Not like how she did with Dylan. Plus would be cool if they put like the Powerpuff girls in this show as a special guests. Sure there's her shirt, the mojo jojo, and the audio from the intro from ep.1
Frankie: "Oh, Mac, that's so sweet." Me: (singing) "Oh, she's sweet but a psycho, a little bit psycho!" At night, she's screamin' "Ah, M-M-Mac's on my mind!"
That episode where they wear a trenchcoat and pretend to be Orlando Blue to stop Frankie from dating some guy was one of the best episodes in the series
