Crimson Skies was actually the very first game I played when I got my Series X. I had been waiting to play it for 20 years, since I never had an original Xbox. Brief anecdote: During the very last level of the game, I managed to defeat the final boss, but didn't watch where I was going and crashed, meaning I had to restart the entire level. If I had survived for 1 or 2 more seconds the final cutscene would have started. I ended up putting in an invincibility cheat and finishing the game because, in my mind, I had already beaten the final boss fairly anyway.

😂 That’s funny (but not funny). I works have don’t the same thing. That’s really great that you played this game first on the Series X though. It shows the quality of the game because you chose a well-made favorite that’s 20+ years old versus the newest and shiniest game available- it says a lot about Crimson Skies’ craftsmanship. HAHA! That’s all available online, but none of these gave reported any upgrades. I’m not trying to be IGN or Modern Vintage Gamer. However- if there was FPS boost or 60fps, I do mention that, like I did in another video regarding FEAR. That’s 60fps and looks INCREDIBLE! When it’s warranted and the information is there, I do report it. 😁😎 Thanks for your comment and have a super weekend!

I bought Dead or Alive 3 [CIB] for $10 on Mercari last December, and it looks and plays better on my Xbox Series X (I play this game with an Arcade Stick). I recently bought Jade Empire Limited Edition [CIB] on Mercari for $15 this past January, and it's still holds up today. I bought GunValkyrie [CIB] on Mercari for $40 this past February [It was the cheapest one on Mercari], and it looks and plays better on my Xbox Series X.

In all honesty, even though I like DOA 4 on 360, I prefer DOA 3 much better. I think it's a much prettier game and it seems they hadn't yet gotten the feel of the capabilities of the 360 yet when they made DOA 4. As much as I like Gunvakerie's visuals and concept, it's hard to play with the control scheme... but I still give it the college try HAHAHA!

I’ve actually watched a play through a while back. It’s a good story, but I’m just not a turn-based RPG guy. I used to watch an old gf play Kingdom Hearts all the time, but couldn’t stand playing it. Different strokes for different folks right? 😁😎 I appreciate your comment! Thanks!

This video is talking about these games on Series X, not 360. But there is a much larger backwards compatibility list for Original Xbox games on 360 on the web. And that list of games is completely different from this set of faves, but there’s TONS more. Just search “Xbox 360 games backwards compatibility list”. Thanks! 😎😁

Well, Jet Set Radio HD from the Xbox Live Arcade is backwards compatible… and it’s still available to buy until July on the Xbox 360 store! I wonder If it’s on sale too? But you’re right, the physical version should be made BC!

@@GAMECLOSET I have Star Wars battlefront battlefront two Jedi academy Star Wars night or republic republic commando Star Wars clone Star Wars old republic and I picked up splinter cell and spent a cell chaos theory off of five bucks I don’t know the one that’s not backwards compatible I thought there was only six Star Wars that was compatible games now you got me curious

Your games are fake? That could be depending where you got them. Which titles? There’s only 63 OG titles that Xbox made backwards compatible. There is a list (it’s why I’m showing games from that list.)

Also… after you connected to the internet? The Series X doesn’t read the faves of the discs. The way Microsoft made their idea of backwards compatibility possible is if it wasn’t one of their games, they had to license it first, then your OG Xbox (or 360 game) physical disc, acts as a key, then it downloads the full game from their servers. It’s really dumb in my opinion, but that’s how it works. Then to play that game, you still have to put it in your Series X to play it. This proves you own the game rather than just borrowing one from a buddy. There’s so many tithes they didn’t make backwards compatible That were AWESOME titles… but they stopped OG titles at 63. Very lame. But, there’s a lot more 360 games that are backwards compatible and I’m showcasing some of those too. At least you can find some older games cheap that will play on your X, but they gotta be on the list. Hey, man, have a good weekend!

OH, and as for your 360, do you have a factory made hard drive in it? If not this won’t work. They put a special bit of code on the ones they sold so you had to buy THIER hard drives. Yeah… that sucks. Then when you put an OG disc in, it downloads a 7MB patch for each game to tell your 360 to run the game. Lane! AND there’s a list of games that all work too hard n 360, but that list is bigger than the one for XBOX One and Series X. I hope that helps!

Ok thanks I will try Xbox one. OG Xbox melted capacitor, now dead. Can't play Buffy, BLACK, MK Shaolin Monks, PsiOps, Evil Dead, HouseOTDead and more.

@cscornarun8903 did the capacitor leak on the board? If you solder, it’s a very very very easy repair.
