I actually like the location of FH4 more than FH5. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but FH4’s location was so chill, and there were so many cool places. We also still had a proper city 🙄 Fish!
No I won't disagree with you, all though I really like FH5's map and improvements, FH4's map just feels right, it's has that nice British countryside feeling about it.

@@noodleninja3679 please do it is so worth it. I am about to buy it before it gets delisted. I started in fh2 and this is the best imo just because of the map and songs. I actually don't like fh5 because its targeted differently and torwards a different audience. It's the same game, but made for people who like offroading imo.
After many many hours of playing FH4 and FH5, i have to say, that FH4 is much superior to the newer one for me. I love the map of UK with such nice city of Edinburgh and the seasons are cherry on top of it. Missions are much more fun, you have Lancia and Fiat, one of the most iconic rally cars, like Delta S4 and Audi S1....FH5 is like 6/10, FH4 8/10.
i agree on every level. I like to cruise and admire the beauty. 90% of my time playing is that. fh5 I feel like playing it is forcing a pill down my throat for my friends.

I agree with this video, I never thought I'd go back to FH4 and say I preferred it- but I have. The city (like you said) is so so much better ,Guanajuato feels more like Ambleside rather than Edinburgh, and generally the entire map, it just feels more alive, more saturation and less boring (however repetitive the map can sometimes feel!). Some car sounds have been mightily improved yes, but some also completely ruined such as the E46 M3 and Volvo 850R. Removing country based more niche cars such as the MGB GT is sort of understandable, but cars like the DBS, Caddy Limo and BMW 850csi should just be in the base game of Horizon 5. Like many people have been saying, Horizon 5 feels like a re skinned FH3 with all the life, colour and character removed!
I personally love FH4, i mean, i've heard complaints about the location (UK), but i personally love UK, i am brazilian, and my dream is to live in there, so imagine playing the game with amazing mountains, fun and quirky roads and amazing tunnels and straights...i mean, yeah, the game is not perfect but i think i really had good fun in it. The cars sound were not perfect too, but some of them sounded amazing, and i really miss that roads...

Horizon 4 had better roads overall to me, there’s only a select few roads I like to drive in FH5 and all but one of them are high speed roads with like no corners, just kinda disappointing
As someone who bought FH4 as their first Horizon game, and never got the chance to play FH3, it was painful having to endure hearing everyone reminisce about how fun the third game was. It was like I bought the wrong game.
You think it will be this year? It was on sale for 27 bucks at Walmart when I went to buy Horizon 5. But a couple of months later, I lost the H4 disk, went to buy it again, and it was like 3 bucks cheaper than Horizon 5. Had a sign on it "optimized for the series x". It didn't have that on the case when I initially bought the game a couple of weeks before H5 was released. Nor did it have that when I went to buy H5.
Dont think so; in online mode every H4 session is full of players... Never found any session with less than 55 players... It'd be foolish to decommision H4, cuz Tier 2 and tier 3 gaming communities are still buyin H4, it was on sale in MS store as well as steam...

Personally I preferred fh4 over fh5. Mainly because of the cars you don't get in fh5 and living in Scotland and working in Edinburgh I find it quite cool driving around areas I've driven irl, plus you've mentioned all good points towards the game I agree on
I still cant forgive them for not having BMW 850csi in FH5. I absolutely love that car and have spent hours just cruising through FH4 map with that car. It was a 20 mil car and it was worth it. One of the best cars ever made imo.
@@roberthardwell3916 850csi is in FH4, but it is quite rare (or at least used to be, I dont play FH4 anymore) that was going for 20 mills in auction house and only if you were sniping it. But it was worth it, that car is just a diamond on a wheels.
honestly, i like fh4 way more than fh5. i could cruise around for hours at a time. now fh5 gets boring quick, even with a wheel. (and i didnt have a wheel for fh4) edit: fish
The map is alot nicer compared to FH5's map. FH5 has alot of desert and get boring after a while. FH4 had awesome roads with greenery and little details in the city, etc.
In my opinion the map in terms of roads overall are better in FH4 than in FH5. It is very FISHy how devs made the roads easier in FH5. So yeah... that's about that. FH5 is in my opinion same sh!t different disc.
Unpopular opinon, but fh4 was my favorite horizon game. And no it's not because I started with that game, I first played the fh2 demo on the 360 then i went to fh2, fh3 and then finally fh4. The map and graphics were what sold it. the graphics are better on fh5 but the map doesn't really show that very well it is way to bland I really just don't like the fh5 map and I like to jsut cruise around and admire the beauty. mexico is just not that.
In my opinion, the only thing that I miss is the Backfire animation and illuminating the whole back for a fraction of a second... Here in FH5 is nothing compared to FH4... :(
Let's talk about the one huge problem I have with FH5 that FH4 does better: Skill Points. In FH5 you can only get a maximum of 10 skill points per run you do, compared to FH4 where you can go on forever and get a crap ton of skill points. This situation in FH5 has caused me so much pain and I don't know why they ever decided to do it
I think the next game in the franchise gonna be hard to live up to expectations, for me personally fh4 was the peak, the map, the musics, the graphics, the vibe. FH4 is where it's at.
Satellite by Starset on Horizon XS never failed to hit the spot, not to mention A Moment Apart by Odesza on the starting screen, Pulse, and Hospital Records. A Moment Apart is and will probably forever be the only music that has made me wait to start a game
5:45 México is a very historical country. Should’ve chosen a better city like Mexico City or my fav Guadalajara, it is very old and filled with history, but had a wealthy and modern part to it as well.
I must be one of the few that prefer fh4. The sketchy online makes fh5’s map feel more empty, and the New PI system sucks. And most the cool cars in fh4 didn’t make it.
Watching you complimenting fh4 is as rare as finding a four leaf clover on a night with a blue moon. In all seriousness though, i cannot understand why many people hate the game. Sure it's not perfect by any means but for some reason,i would take it over fh5
a month ago when I saw it was optimized for the new xbox I literally downloaded it, I am going to delete fh5. simple as that. fh4 map was so much better, the atmopshere better. the handling is worse i will give it that. but I loved the location so much. the music, the game was more beauty based. i feel calm and relaxed as im cruising around the game in my aston martin, I am imagining the music as i write this and I am instantly at ease. But if i think of fh5 i can barely remember the songs, the songs are just plainly different. fh5 was made to be wooo yeaah more of an energetic one. Targeted at young kids. off roading is a big factor because everyone I know who likes fh5 is because they are new to racing and dunno how to stay on the freaking road.
@@Unboundiing agree. Fh4 imo is the kind of a game where you just choose a gt car and cruise around town or even the entire map. It's just so bri'ish and relaxing. Oftentimes,you can put some classical music as the cherry on top
I’m an unusual guy. Forza Horizon 4 is my favorite Horizon game. My favorite car in the game is the Vauxhall Lotus Carlton. Why did they have to make it difficult to obtain it in Horizon 5?
I really like the sounds, especially the gtr R-35 sound in FH4. It was genuinely amazing. (the infiniti q60 rogue has the same sound cuz same engine) also, fish
FH4 is the best Horizon game ever made. Personally I love this game. The details, the lovation, amount of cars and different races make this part absolutly my favourite.

Just redownloaded forza horizon 4. Some things I noticed that were better were rain effects, windshield rain effect( the water droplet’s direction depends on your car’s direction), tree animations, small details (like blinking traffic cones), tree models, barn animations, and progression. Forza horizon 4 somehow used way less trees yet made the forest feel just as dense as forza horizon 5’s jungle. Map also feels bigger despite being smaller
Every time a new game gets released even if it's the best game ever the fans will say the old game is better. Every time a new game gets released everyone talks shit about it but when the next one gets released they suddenly realize it's actually not bad. The entire Forza community is full of hypocrisies
Welcome to what people call "the call of duty syndrome". Game gets published, fans are like "oh, wow it's the best one yet". Next one gets published with a minor amount of improvements but nothing really to add to the character of the franchise and everyone goes "oh it's just an add on to the last game". That's why if you like a certain title from a game franchise, and don't really mind not playing the "newest" title, just play the one you like.
The I.D. R is also missing in FH5, which was a beast, and given that the future holds more electric vehicles, adding the VW I.D. Series of cars would be really cool!
My reasons for still playing 4 even after buying 5 1. 4 doesn't suffer from the ai getting blatant grip hacks, randomly getting unrealistic traction out of select corners on every track. Hell, on weekly trails the unbeatable ai occaisonaly even makes mistakes and bins it in fh4, a much more realistic experience. I dont mind making the racing difficult, after all thats what the difficulty sliders are for, but the way horizon 5 does it is cheap and its not satisfying knowing you can't out drive competitors that drive beyond what the physics engine allows and hence have to resolve to ramming 2. Fh4 maps, both main and expansions seems full of players with popular spots being the main highway, main festival site, lego track, needle climb. Leads to unexpected memorable experiences. I remember 2 randoms parked by the side cheering me on with "awesome" chat texts as i kept trying to 3 star the s bends drift zone. Forzathon live feels like a special event 9/10 times, waiting for it start with some players drifting around, some players being parked next to each other in cool hypercars for a quick photo. I bring out my meme austin 7 drift build when i know theres enough players to get all 3 challenges done for laughs. All this compared to horizon 5 where i rarely see anyone on the map, and horizon arcade is a single player experience with maybe someone joining in if youre lucky. Honestly the only reason i play 5 is i love motor racing, intrinsically it has taken a lot of fun out of it which it already had in previous games, which is why i play both 4 and 5 depending on what i feel like.
Forza Horizon as a franchise needs new innovations, you can only release the same game so many times until it gets stale. And I hope they won't choose an exotic place like Mexico again, I want something motorsports related like Germany or Japan, or maybe another part of the US!
Forza Horizon 4? Its not the worst! Had the best intro race featuring the sweet seasonal changes in the UK's game setting, Best feel, diverse world, alot to do, and so much more. And with me, FH3 and 4 are my Favourites
I was honestly really bummed that the 2058 Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech didn't return in Horizon 5 because about a week before Horizon 5 released I spent a couple days to remake the Tyger Claws livery for it thinking they would bring it over to Horizon 5 like how the 723 Quartz Regalia was brought to Horizon 4 from Horizon 3 Hopefully they bring it back down the line
In the future we’re gonna see a video titled “8 Things FH5 does better than Forza Horizon 6!”. It’s a never ending cycle. This is why I just stick with judging games myself now by just simply playing them.
I think Forza 4 has more to offer it has better feel on the road (physics) plus there is the weather system. Forza 5 is more like a need for speed game or an arcade game but better. Then again this is my opinion
People always hate on this game but its is very good, the graphics and amazing, the season system was really cool and double the cars than forza horizon 3, I'm not here to say its the best forza but is definitely very good
They have the iron knight engine in horizon 5 Also when horizon 5 showed off convertibles the regalia type D is the first thing i thought of as in horizon 3 the regalia had its roof up

Bro I'ma say this, FH4 was easily the best racing game, and game, of all time. It was beautiful, fun, and goofy, in a good way. The 4 seasons was also a nice touch. And I loved this game with all my heart.
