@thisgengaming What system were you playing on for WWE 2K17? I still have and play this game on PS3 but you can only add one manager for each side. How did you have all of the other 3 accompany Bray?
In Here Comes the Pain, the referee could win a first blood match. It took a lot of patience as you had to keep attacking him, as he'd automatically reverse all your moves. Eventually you would bleed and he'd win using the Stone Cold victory animation.
SYM and HCTP were fun as hell. I can't remember which one it was, but in one of them, there was a way to get the partner of your opponent's tag team to beat up his own partner for you and he just wouldn't stop nor would he break up your pins. Obviously it was a glitch and I completely forgot how to pull it off.
There is also another secret in WWF No Mercy: during Survival mode, if you eliminate EVERY SINGLE wrestler by yourself (meaning that no NPC shall eliminate another wrestler), you will receive 1 million dollars in order to spend it in Smackdown Mall. Also, Andre the Giant can also be unlocked during a specific story branch in the WWF Championship.
Also on JBI Slobberknocker, playing as the Undertaker will unlock Fred Durst, in SYM getting 100 wins will unlock a Divas video package; In Smackdown 2 if you have enough patience to complete 6 or 7 years of season mode you will get to unlock everything that you still have left locked in the game.
RAW 2 is pretty underrated. One time when i was doing a "play every wrestling game ever" run, RAW 2 and WCW Mayhem were the two games that pleasantly surprised me.
I also think that Smackdown 2's secret where Big Show (named 'Unknown') would appear in the rumble takes a lot of patience and chance as well, which I think is a good example for this list!

I remember as a teen I actually made it to the final of the survival. Madness I tell you. I was upset that the data got erased, which copies of No Mercy were prone to doing if you didn't send for a replacement copy. The slobberknocker mode was great too. Those are some game modes I'd like to see return.
Actually that was wrong as No Mercy was on n64 that hat Memory Cards you plug into your Controller to save that Data so it wouldn't get erased unless you erased it off your Memory Card as I still have mine w/ all that DATA. pls I agree Slobberknocker was fun just sucks that WWE 2k went Strategy based and took away the Button Mashing that made WWE games games for over 27 years dating all the way back to the OG NES WrestleMania
The best feature in Raw 2 is not only that you can use weapons even if they are already broken, but that you can also leave the Ring and bring weapons into the match in the Royal Rumble match. I would like that back in new WWE2k games!
my issue was always the gameplay. they clearly wanted to be distinctly different than how smackdown controlled at the time and it ended up so clunky. they got so much right but it was such a chore to get used to the controls compared to how smooth the ps2 games were at that time It was hilarious to create a superstar at max height and have them hold a table next to a created character at min height holding a table since the weapons would change size once picked up
That part where the rock had rock bottomed regal and it went to double screen for live match in replay of the move they should put that in future 2k games
The other day I was playing Raw 2 and noticed you can't go to the stage, then I thought... you should do a video listing games where basic features lacked, like no Create a Diva in 2K15, no season mode in WM X8 or Raw (other games from the same time had it), no going to the stage as well on WM 21 if I'm not mistaken, you know, that kinda stuff, I'm sure you could find lots of. Great vid as always man.
There was another situation similar to Chris Jericho win by countout. However this time, they made you replay the match and force loss as they didnt allow you to win by countout.
In the first SmackDown Vs Raw (this could exist in earlier titles, I don't know), when choosing a theme song for your created wrestlers, you can also obviously choose any current superstar's theme and play their intro as a sample. If you continue to playback Kurt Angle's theme, there's a very small chance that you get to hear the song with added 'You Suck' chants.
Have you covered the Undertaker Motorcycle Dragging cutscene from Smackdown Shut Your Mouth? There's a scene in that game based on the segment where Undertaker tied Hogan to his motorcycle and "took him for a ride" backstage. I think it was initially discovered like 2 years ago with a video of the cutscene being posted to RU-vid. Edit: Yeah the vid was uploaded by nickgemini12
I remember playing Wrestlemania 2000 as a created wrestler. I won every match for a full year and won the Royal Rumble. It was right before Wrestlemania and all of the sudden, after a match, a storyline populated where Vince stripped me of the match and gave it to someone else. I never had a chance to get the match back and ended up mid-carding Wrestlemania. Never played the game again.
Raw 2 was so much fun. I loved being able to use ripped music from CDs saved to the xbox HDD to use as entrance themes. I wish we could do that again. I had the best entrance with custom music.

WWF Warzone and WWF Attitude my friends and I always cracked up when playing as or against Christian because one random crowd sound is a guy just belting out “CHRISTIAN!!! You SUUUUUCK”
In SD!2 if you fight at the stage/Smackdown! Set and run towards the edge of the stage BUT right before you get to the edge of the stage press the L2 button & you will do and evasive roll and the game will glitch you into mid-air! You can keep climbing and running until you get as high as HIAC rooftop level! 👍
Only thing i remember, idk if even a secret, was beatin up the ref (looked like Earl) enough times in Monday Night Raw on SNES, he would wave his hands and leave the ring and nobody could win the match😂😂
WWE War Zone PS1 Bean Mode win the WWE world title with one of the Headbangers Bean Mode will open when this turned on wrestlers will burp or fart after taking a big move . I usually picked Mosh since Thrasher's move s were a bit harder to do .
The Old WWF/E games was creative and had style, which is lacking in today's WWE games. WWE2K worry about the graphics too much that takes up all the memory and then you can only have a match and cant do anything else.
The Raw games were so underrated... I still believe the SmackDown games were better, but still Raw games don't get the credit they deserve, so I'm glad you included them and gave them some much needed credit and exposure.
In SVR 2009 during the Batista/ Mysterio road to wrestlemania, if you make sure Edge wins that match at the Elimination chamber the outcome for the remainder of the mode is different
That first game reminds me of a truth: it isn't a real wrestling game to me without weapon attacks and strikes that do nothing because the target is busy with an animation. Was dismayed (but secretly glad) to see it return in 2K22: elbow dropping people just as they get locked in a hold and pushing them harmlessly across the mat etc. Good stuff.
I remember thinking Raw had such good graphics when it came out.. The amount of time I spent before its release trying to upload footage.. Would take like 30 minutes for a couple minute clip lol.. Would check it every 5-10 minutes to see the progress and get excited for the few more seconds.

Yeh be great if they actually made it realistic again like chain grappling and holds like what you see on TV or fighting back on 1 knee or breaking up pins while on ground 2k takes 1 step but actually leaps backwards they suck so bad how is it possible to make this worse
I can't remember if it was wwf warzone or attitude but if you and your opponent stood still for a while the crowd would slowly get quiet and stop cheering. Standing still they would start booing you.
In day of reckoning 2 when you play a TLC match as Paul London, during his entrance if he comes out first the announcer can’t finish announcing the match type and Paul cause his entrance is so fast
Raw 1 had the best look during the match and entrances it was a lot more realistic. They need to take all the pros from previous games and make one good game.
in wwf no mercy if you play The Rock's theme on create a wrestler, if you listen to to the whole thing , at the end the rock has a soundbit where he tells u to shove something up urs yea
Raw 2 is one of my favorite wrestling games due to interacting with the chairs and the different attacks you can perform with them. I know some of the Smackdown titles had ddt's and i believe it also had the one where taker would slam his opponent onto the edge of the chair with his throat (what he did to Maven at the 2002 royal rumble.) But Raw 2 let you whip people across the ring and then hit them in the face when they came back towards you, Repeated strikes to the back or gut after throwing them to the mat. Not to mention Raw 2 has the best setup for the Lionsault and Clothesline from Hell in any wrestling game period. Season mode was so much fun and attacking/getting jumped by wrestlers was so much fun.
The hell?! I played so much No Mercy and I didn’t know this at all. In fact I don’t remember GameFaqs having this even as a secret character. Pretty crazy that even GameFaqs didn’t have this in 2001 (or was it 2000?). That’s so nuts.
I did the Andre one a few times growing up. I think I actually had a CAW that was 4 costumes: Freddy Krueger, Freddy Krueger with the coat from New Nightmare, Jason Voorhees, and Bret Hart. Random 4 costumes but hey, I was like 11.
I unlocked Andre the Giant in No Mercy during story mode. I think it’s the second WWF Championship go round. Vince McMahon is pissed that you keep winning so he introduces him as his secret weapon
