These commercials aired on NBC on December 14th, 1986. Thanks to my cousin David for recording these.
1. Double Mint Gum (These twins look way more attractive when they don't have the same hairstyle as Alice from "The Brady Bunch")
2. Wheat Thins
3. Alberto Hair Sculpture (This guy should have been arrested for his crimes against hair)
4. Promo for "Christmas in Washington"
5. 7UP (That Santa Claus poster is frightening)
6. Oreo
7. Visions Cookware by Corning (These look pretty cool, actually)
8. Promo for "Highway To Heaven"
9. Promo for "Babes In Toyland" (Pat Morita! I've never seen this, but it looks pretty awful)
10. Burger King Chicken Tenders
11. Promo for KSBW Action News 8
12. Promo for "The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training" (That title isn't long or awkward at all)
13. 7UP (So Santa's elves are little midget clones of himself? Cool!)
14. Kmart
15. TV spot for "Lady And The Tramp"
16. Wrigley's Spearmint Gum (I don't even remember this jingle. Pretty catchy)

Although this is a shorter volume, it has some real gems! 0:00 and 5:38--Two of the many great jingles used by Wrigley's over the years. Ironically, a few years later (early 1990's), they gave us my all-time favorite Doublemint jingle ("Double Double Your Refreshment") but also my least-favorite Spearmint ad campaign (the infamous "I smoke, but..." commercials). 0:29--Catchy jingle for Wheat Thins crackers: "Something like a cracker, but more like a snack" 1:10 and 4:07--I love the retro refrigerator in the 7-Up commercials! 1:40--Wow; a Christmas version of the classic Oreo jingle! I'd forgotten all about that one. 3:32--Back when most TV markets had "Action News" on one station and "Eyewitness News" on another. You rarely see either branding nowadays.

I’m 12 but the 80’s look so fun I mean I like having my phone and all but it would be really fun to be a kid in the 80’s and give it a try for a change

Wow, Babes in Toyland wasn't even out yet. That put it in perspective for me...seeing Drew Barrymore as just a little kid.

My mom had those Visions pots when I was a little kid. She said the food always came out like glue, and got stuck to the bottom, making it hard to clean. She hated them. If memory serves me correctly, she gave her set to my grandmother.

My parents had a plastic microwave popcorn maker bowl that I think had the Visions label on it.

Oreo commercials will never get old! What happen to Kmart over the years? I think some of my family members had Visions Cookware long time ago.@3:04 to 3:31, I truly miss BK's Chicken Tenders (classic & way better than chicken nuggets they're selling right now).

I actually have a few pans. A relative gave them to me when I was in college to use in my new apartment. They are glass kinda like pyrex. I never really use them cause the handles get really hot like the commercial says they won't.

I think my family had those Visions pots/pans- from what I remember they felt more like they were made from glass, like Pyrex.

Safety concerns? Uh-oh. I have them and still use them. They were my mother's.

So I was thinking to myself, "hey, those Visions by Corning look pretty good, I wonder why I don't see them anywhere. I want one." Then I looked it up, and "the line was ended due to safety concerns." Dammit.

The Pyrex also was NOT easy to clean. The non-stick coatings on pans are so good new, that when you use a pan without it, its very noticeable.

I've seen that babes in toyland. It's horrendous.

I'm pretty sure CBS did their own version of Babes In Toyland not but three years earlier. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Those hairstyles in the Alberto ad--wow. Nothing says the holidays like a bad sequel to a baseball movie! The older brother in the K-Mart ad is a lot nicer than I would have been at that age. I would have been 9 at Christmas '86, so I'm pretty sure I thought I was too cool to go see a Disney movie. Given that "Lady and the Tramp" will probably never be on the big screen again, that would not rank among my finer childhood decisions.

5:08--Back when Disney used to periodically re-release their classic movies on the big screen.

They look like they were made of some sort of polymer/plastic, which doesn't exactly seem like the safest material for cooking utensils. They do look pretty awesome though.

At the time she did "Babes in Toyland", Drew Barrymore was already drinking and smoking pot (and would start using cocaine a year later). Keep that in mind while watching this!

No...there isn't. Is it so much to ask that you actually watch the video beforehand to determine its contents?
